“Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed” Psalm 25:3

The worldly way is to take action. There is no waiting on God. You must enter into life with intensity and strive to meet your goals. The world honors those who are achieving and have a relentless attitude toward life.
The world ridicules and shames the man or woman who waits on God. The world teaches the idea of “survival of the fittest” and your sufficiency comes from self.
This is the antithesis of God’s ways. God created the heavens and the earth and every living creature in six days and rested on the seventh day.
The foundation of Christianity is built on resting in God and drawing upon His attributes to have an abundant life. Resting is the ability to understand that all good things begin with God and come to you by your faith in Him.
There is a time for action and a time to wait upon God. It is not by strength or might but by the Spirit of God. Waiting on God is an expression of your trust in Him and an unwavering belief that you will experience the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
You wait on God without any evidence or proof. Your faith is embedded in His Word. You don’t look at your circumstances because God lives in the invisible. He calls things that don’t exist as if they did!
Wait on the Lord and He will strengthen your heart! God is faithful!
