How to achieve a victory in Jesus?

“But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ”. 1 Corinthians 15:57

Jesus is a God of victory. The victory is the death of Jesus and is worked out in all the moments of a believer’s life. Victory is not just about receiving personal gifts; it is living as a new creature in Christ Jesus and benefiting from the precious gift of salvation.

Victory comes to those who walk with unshakable faith and rest in the finished work of Jesus. The Christ follower does not struggle or strive for victories. He quietly seeks out God through prayer and intercession, reading the Bible and listening for the voice of Jesus.

Jesus is omniscient and knows every detail of your life. We must be in contact with Him through the Holy Spirit. He will provide wisdom and direction in your life through His timely counsel.

Jesus desires to defeat the tactics of Satan to destroy a believer. This requires speaking against Satan with the words of God. Take bold action in your words. Order Satan to flee from your life and remind him he has been defeated by the blood of Jesus. Speak the words “No weapon formed against me will prosper. I belong to Jesus.”

The victories will come in the perfect timing of Jesus and fit into His schedule of transforming a believer into the character of Jesus.

Jesus desires to give you more than you ask or think. Wait upon Him with thanksgiving and praise.

Jesus is a rewarder to those who diligently seek His will.

Jesus keeps His promises. He can be trusted implicitly to deliver a believer.

Concentrate on doing the perfect will of Jesus and staying grounded in Him. The victories will flow into your life. Remember, hasty decisions or worldly actions delay a victory from Jesus.

If you have questions or need prayers please reach out to me and I will respond promptly. We wake up each day living in the victory of Jesus!

The resolute nature of Jesus puts bumps into your pathway!

“Not my will but Yours be done.” Luke 22:42

Jesus was very firm, unwavering and determined to complete His mission for God. He has the same desire for you.

This attitude is very reflective in dealing with His people. Jesus has a goal for a believer to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteous and all the other things will be added.

He is very passionate about this goal and will get your attention when you are off course. Jesus can make your life miserable to change your ingrained habits and self motivation.

I learned this lesson about submission to God while  playing golf. My focus was on playing well and I invested a lot of time into the game and became a good player. God turned my golfing into a nightmare and I finally gave up.

Jonah decided he would not obey Jesus and spent three days in a whale drifting in the ocean.

The Christ follower must seek the perfect will of Jesus above all else. This is simply committing your works each day to God and seeking the counsel of Jesus.

It is impossible to stay grounded in Jesus without the Holy Spirit. He is the life of Jesus and desires to guide your footsteps and protect you. He speaks to believers and is a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your pathway.

This happens when you inquire of the Lord in all of your decision making and avoid hasty or compulsive decisions. They will usually backfire as God punishes a believer for avoiding His wisdom and direction.

Jesus wants the best for you and this will happen through prayer, reading the Bible and listening for His voice.

We all have a human nature to live for self. We are ego driven people and this has to be broken by Jesus.

The goal of Jesus is to transform a believer into His character and at times this can be a very miserable experience filled with troubles until we see the light and turn from rebellion to submission.

Please contact me if you have questions or need prayers and I will respond promptly. Jesus loves you!

I’m a new creature in Jesus but the old is still there!

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17

This is a common predicament with many Christ followers. Jesus passes the sins from your ancestry on to you. The Bible teaches God visits the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children’s children to the third and the fourth generation.

They are genetic dispositions that prevent a believer from achieving the fullness of a new creature in Christ.

The natural man is born with these genetic dispositions. They have to be broken by the work of the Cross and a serious decision to live for Christ.

The roots go deep into the personality and emotions of a man and require deep inner healing and introspection from God.

The Holy Spirit is your spiritual therapist who will help you get rid of the past and become a new creature. Submit to the authority and counsel of the Holy Spirit and healing and recovery will come.

The life of a believer is a process of change and transformation into the character of Jesus. It is not a snap decision making everything good.

The past can be removed through prayer, reading the Bible and listening to the voice of Jesus. The hindrance is many people want to keep these secret compulsive behaviors.

Jesus wants all of you. If a believer holds back parts of his life he will be an incomplete creature in Christ.

The best solution is to seek Jesus out for conviction and change. He will open your eyes to see what you need to change and give you the courage to let go and trust Him.

In the Body of Christ there are many programs designed to help a believer deal with his past and get healing and release from genetic dispositions. Roots is one of the strongest and most detailed spiritual programs in dealing with your past.

Jesus heals and restores but we have to be open to Him without any exclusions.

If you have questions or need prayer please contact me and I will respond promptly. Jesus wants you to have a healthy and strong spiritual life.

The war between Jesus and Satan!

“Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.” Colossians 2:15

This war is very visible for all to see. Jesus proclaims a victory while Satan has been allowed to destroy biblical concepts and to create a powerful move to discredit Jesus.

He has infiltrated the leaders of many nations who have passed laws limiting Jesus and allowing laws promoting darkness and contradicting the precepts of Jesus.

The Holy Spirit told me people refute Jesus in an acrimonious manner observed in their speech, behavior, or relationships. They are angry, bitter, and filled with sharp resentment. This attitude reflects intense hostility.

We live in the End Times and Jesus is allowing this to take place to fulfill the plans of God. The world will get uglier and face many tribulations and adversities.

Jesus has won this war. He died on the Cross and disarmed all principalities and powers. He made a public spectacle over them in it.

Jesus removed the laws of Moses and all the burdensome regulations. We become Christ followers by faith and death has been destroyed. We live with Jesus forever.

Unfortunately, religion is not a safe haven. Christianity tends to recognize the war but combats it with works and laws. The leaders push works and religion while displacing the importance of a personal and embracing relationship with Jesus.

If you are a non believer you will lose all in this war. Your future has been ordained by God.

The role of a believer is to stand firm in prayer, read the Bible and listen for the voice of Jesus. This discipline must be practiced every day with an overall goal to seek the perfect will of God in your life.

Jesus gave all Christians a powerful gift to sustain and protect them in this war. He sealed all believers with the Holy Spirit who is the life of Jesus. He is alive and desires to speak to believers and guide you into a smooth pathway.

The responsibility of a Christian is to submit to His authority and obey His instructions. He will bring His order and simplicity into your life.

The Holy Spirit sends signs and wonders from Heaven and becomes a very strong presence in the life of a believer. He surrounds His people with a powerful buttress of support. No weapon formed against a believer will prosper.

The Christ follower can be as secure as Jesus himself under the authority of the Holy Spirit.

The challenge is to live for Jesus and die to self. This happens when a believer makes an unconditional decision to live by “Not my will but Yours be done.”

If you have questions or need prayer please reach out to me and I will respond promptly. Remember, we do not believe what we see with our eyes, we trust implicitly in the promises of Jesus.

Does Jesus live richly in you or is He just a nondescript Bible figure?

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” Colossians 3:16

I lived into my mid thirties thinking Jesus would be helpful when I died but I needed someone to help me fight my battles today. I was deeply mistaken about Jesus until I personally witnessed His greatness and glory. I have never missed a day living with Jesus since my first meeting. I realized how insignificant I am compared to the greatness of God.

The words of Jesus come to a believer through the Bible and His voice speaking to His people.

The words of Jesus are alive and powerful. They transform a man into the character of the Living Christ.

The Word is like a sharp two edged sword piercing your heart and personality and discerning your every thought and action.

The Word brings purity to your thoughts and actions and convicts of impure motives and compulsive behaviors.

The Christ follower is built in the workmanship of Jesus for good works.

He is a powerful light for Jesus in His words and his demeanor reflects the unconditional love and joy of Jesus. People see the songs of joy and admiration enveloped through His words.

He is humble and meek and does not boast or speak flattering words.

The disciple of Jesus prays seeking the will of God, reads the Bible, and listens for the voice of Jesus. He becomes a powerful light for Jesus. The people in His life see the Living Christ without him speaking a single word about Jesus or the Bible.

The secret is giving the Holy Spirit authority over your life. He lives inside you and brings the reality and presence of Jesus into every moment of life. He takes the words of Jesus and transforms a man into a fountain of Living Water touching all those who cross his path.

Please reach out to me if you have questions or need prayers. I will respond promptly. The Words of Jesus are a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your pathway. They are the most valuable and priceless asset in your life! He

Jesus sends your sins away but they keep coming back!

“For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”

Matthew 26:28

What does remission of sins mean? It means they have been sent away by Jesus. Your slate has been wiped cleaned.

There is no shame or condemnation over a believer and He can stand blameless before God.

But there is a big problem! The sins come back.

The root of the problem is your inner nature at birth. The human being has a nature to defy God and live for self. No one is immune from this condition.

The solution is to start over with a new body. This can happen for anyone. Jesus calls this a “born again” experience.

The natural man dies and is given the life of Jesus. This is the gift of salvation.

He must be born of the Water and Spirit. The Water cleanses man of sin and the Holy Spirit baptizes him into a new creature in Christ.

The Cross causes a man to die to self and live for Jesus. But this transformation has to be lived out or the believer’s life will consist of wandering around in circles with no sustaining power of Jesus.

The decision for Jesus is a conviction of the heart to seek the will of Jesus above all else. It is life changing!

The gift of salvation seals every believer with the Holy Spirit. He is the life of Jesus and how you become transformed into the character of Jesus.

The Holy Spirit speaks consistently to a believer, trains him in the ways of Jesus, and convicts him of impure motives or compulsive behaviors. He is constantly forming him into the model of Jesus.

The power of sin can be broken by prayer, reading the Bible and listening for the voice of Jesus. The secret is to live and move and have your being in the Holy Spirit.

Please reach out to me if you have questions or need prayer and I will respond quickly. Have a good day and stay linked to the Holy Spirit. Jesus is perfect!

Victim or survivor with Jesus?

“Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.” Psalm 91:14

Many Christians believe they are a victim of God and have suffered because He has taken away His protection and favor. They don’t feel like God cares about them.

The survivor is a Christ follower who trusts God during the worst conditions possible and believes God delivers His people.

The defining characteristic in a survivor is He loves God and earnestly desires to do His will regardless of his circumstances. He lives for Jesus!

The survivor can find joy in the midst of adversity. He has unshakable faith and may not understand why bad things are happening to him but knows God is good.

The survivor has met the Living Christ and witnessed His greatness and glory. He knows Jesus is his only hope for deliverance.

The survivor does not give up. He stumbles and gets back on his feet. He seeks Jesus through prayer, reading the Bible and listening for His voice. Even in the most dire circumstances He stays in contact with Jesus and praises Him.

The victim feels helpless and seeks the world for comfort and restoration. He cannot identify with the efficacy and power of Jesus.

Jesus is very accessible. He is a God of unconditional love, compassion and mercy. When in trouble He is your only refuge.

The victim has given up on Jesus. He has no sustaining hope in the promises of Jesus.

The survivor wakes up to a new day with the Holy Spirit and seeks out Jesus for wisdom, peace and joy.

The survivor has the resiliency of Jesus. He never gives up even when facing the Cross!

Coping skills to walk with Jesus!

“That they be one as we are one” John 17:22

It is very difficult to stay tuned into Jesus.

This is because He doesn’t think or act like a human being. Jesus has no ego, operates with unconditional love and makes decisions by His words.

You and I are ego driven people whose priorities are prosperity and a quality lifestyle.

These two personalities are in conflict with each other; living for self or living for God.

Religion won’t fix this problem; it covers up the conflict with regulations and works.

The question becomes how do you find the perfect will of God in a world that hates Jesus.

The first step is to recognize a human being can never match up to the standards of Jesus. We need the Living Jesus to personally guide our footsteps, speak to us and protect us from the evils of the world.

This happens through the Holy Spirit. He is the life of Jesus and sealed in all believers. He can help you do the perfect will of Jesus in an imperfect body.

It is essential for the Christ follower to submit to the authority of the Holy Spirit and be in contact with Him at all times. He is your portal to the presence and reality of the Living Christ.

The human nature at birth is a desire to live for self and defy the ways of God. The believer can shift into this nature in a split second.

To keep grounded in Jesus the believer must practice the discipline of pray, read the Bible and listen for the voice of Jesus.

Seek the perfect will of Jesus by committing your works each day to Jesus and live in oneness with Jesus anchored to the Holy Spirit.

Inquire of Jesus in all your decision making and do not make hasty or compulsive decisions. The counsel of Jesus is perfect and brings His order and simplicity into your life.

If you have questions or need prayer please reach out to me and I will respond promptly!

Standing in the chasm between Jesus and Man!

“But we have the mind of Christ.” 1 Corinthians 2:16

The Holy Spirit spoke to me today about the chasm between Jesus and mankind.

A chasm is a deep divide or separation between God and humanity.

This divide happens because God has blinded many from seeing who He is. They are in rebellion against God and defy the truths of Jesus.

Most believers weave between Jesus and living for self. The lusts of the flesh can be strong and compelling without the restraints of the Holy Spirit.

For many the world is very tempting and difficult to let go of completely. It provides temporary prosperity and happiness.

To stay out of the chasm the believer must take Jesus seriously and seek His reality and presence.

We cannot take Jesus for granted. Satan is to strong and devious and He knows all your weaknesses. He can get your attention in a moment and then you are sunk in the chasm.

To stay out of the chasm the believer must develop the disciple of prayer, reading the Bible and listening for the voice of Jesus.

Jesus is omniscient and knows every detail of your future. Seek the perfect will of Jesus and inquire of Him in all your decision making. Compulsive behaviors and worldly thinking destroys believers.

The safety net for a believer is the Holy Spirit. He is the life of Jesus. Submit to the authority of the Holy Spirit and always stay in contact with Him. He will keep you out of the chasm and grounded in Jesus.

Please let me know if you have questions or need prayer. I will respond promptly. He who is in me is greater than he who is in the world!

God is good! This was taken last night.

The mystery is no longer, Jesus was with God from the beginning!

“According to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord”

Ephesians 3:11

The fellowship of the mystery is from the very beginning. God created all things through Jesus. He is how we have fellowship with God.

The manifold (multifaceted) wisdom of God was made known by the Body of Christ to all the principalities and powers in the heavenly places.

Every angelic and demonic creature in Heaven understands the existence and divine plan of God through Christ Jesus. The gift of salvation is a believer’s entitlement from the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross.

As Christ followers we have boldness and access to Jesus. We live by faith with confidence Jesus keeps His promises.

We can have a personal and endearing relationship with Jesus through the Holy Spirit who is sealed in all believers. We can hear His voice, learn His ways and live in His presence.

The Holy Spirit fills God’s people with His powerful attributes of strength, wisdom, joy and protection.

The unconditional love of God allows a believer to meet and dwell with the Living Christ!

Jesus is the way the truth and the life!

I hope you are having an amazing day! Please let me know if you have questions or need prayer. The fellowship of Jesus will transform your life!
