Thought for the day: “Abide in Me and I will give you freedom from the pressures of the world. I want you to live in oneness with Me covered by My blood and filled with the fullness of My life.”
“Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 3:31-32

Everywhere you look today you see dirt and filth invading our world. Whether you watch TV, go online, or read a newspaper you can’t get away from it. The workplace is filled with mud and backbiting, politics and governments are corrupt, and society is built on the premise of self satisfaction.
The question is can you be free from the filth of life and have the freedom to enjoy the abundant life promised by Jesus. Is it really possible to avoid getting entangled in a morass of sinful activities.
This is complicated because you are not only dealing with the evils and perils of the external world that you live in but you also have to look into yourself to determine if your habits and motives are pure.
If you allow your inner feelings and desires to go unchecked you will find yourself slipping into a miry pit and then you will also be covered with mud.
Jesus told believers if you abide in My Word you will be My disciples and you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.
God has given you an ironclad method to be free from the bondage of sin. This will work for anyone and is built on an eternal law of God. It will never fail you.
The law of the Spirit of life in Christ will set you free from the law of sin leading to death. So you have to look inside yourself for the solution to overcoming sin. The Holy Spirit (life of Jesus) lives in you and if you are yoked to Him it is impossible to fall into a sinful condition.
The Spirit of God is perfect and without sin. He reflects the holiness and purity of God and is the only way you can lead a life pleasing to Jesus.
The Son makes you free! Come into oneness with Jesus through His Spirit and your life will never be the same.
You will meet the living God and He will set you free!
