“But who do you say that I am?” Matthew 16:15
Jesus posed this question to his disciples and Peter answered “You are Christ, the Son of the living God.”
Jesus responded to Peter and told him he was blessed by God and this revelation did not come through His flesh and blood but from His Father who is in Heaven.
The question today is “Who do you think Jesus is?” This is the crux of a relationship with God. Is Jesus the way, the truth, and the life or he is just a biblical character who lived in ancient times. Is He worth you making a decision to lay your life down for Him?
Your perception of the Living God will only become clear and accurate when the the Spirit of God reveals the person of Jesus Christ to you.
You will never find Jesus through your mind or a scholarly approach. And, you won’t find the reality of God through sermons or reading the Bible. You have to have a face to face meeting!
You will find the Son of God when you accept Him for who He is and come to Him with an open and willing heart.
Jesus has power and dominion over all things. He gives and He takes. He is the author of life. There is no other way to God except through the Son of God.
Jesus has defeated death and is the doorway to an abundant life. He lives so you can live through Him! He wants to do for you what you cannot do for yourself.
Come today and have a personal encounter with the Living God. Then all doubt will be removed and you will see Jesus for who He is and will gladly give your life over to Him with a heart felt desire to walk in His ways.
Come to God by faith and ask Him to illuminate you with the truth of Jesus. Come in a worshipful mood and with an openness to His Spirit. Then be still and wait on our almighty God. There is no one like Him!
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God!
Thought for the day:

“Come to Me by faith and let go of your perceptions of who I am. Have an open heart and a willingness to listen. I will show myself to you and demonstrate My greatness and glory. When you meet Me you will know that life is hopeless without the Son of God.”
