“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10
God is at work this very moment refining you into the image and character of Jesus Christ. This is a lifelong process and God is very meticulous in the transforming of your mind, emotions, and personality to reflect the nature of God.
The purpose of this workmanship is to prepare you to do the works of God. Jesus did not give up His life for good and virtuous people. He died for your sinful and corrupt nature.
You cannot think or act like God without encountering the painful experience of dying to self.
The ultimate purpose of God is for you to live with this spiritual truth permanently etched in your heart; “Not my will but yours be done”.
You wake up each day seeking the purposes of God through prayer, praise, and worshipping God in Spirit and Truth.
Faith is trusting God without expectations or an outcome. It is simply recognizing “He is God and He can do whatever pleases Him with my life.”
Thought for the day:

“Come live with Me and become acquainted with My ways. Believe in Me for who I am. You can appease Me by your steadfast faith in My promises. My sufficiency is complete and lacks nothing.”
