“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20

Today’s blog is just as important for believers as non believers. In fact, it is probably more important for people who profess to be Christians.
The decision is whether you will function through life operating in your own identity or trade your natural identity for the person of Jesus Christ. If you live through your own identity, you will be like a car stalled in deep sand. Your wheels will spin but you will get nowhere with God.
To identify with Jesus Christ, you have to make a decision to live for Him and through Him. He becomes the centerpiece of your life and you live in oneness with your Creator.
You also have to give up the right to yourself and invite Jesus to live in every aspect of your life. This will cause you to take on the personality of Jesus and begin to live in His righteousness.
Jesus Christ is your only hope for freedom from your impoverished and corrupt inner being and the bondage of sin. You were born with a rebellious spirit and a desire to live for self.
In addition, the experiences from your past have created habits that keep you from receiving the fullness of God. You also carry a genetic disposition for sin from your ancestry.
God’s purpose is to set you free and restore you to Himself. He offers you an amazing opportunity to be transformed from your natural state to a new creature in Christ Jesus.
When you become baptized with the Water and Spirit, your eyes become open to the things of God. You see the excellence and splendor of God and begin to sample the abundant life.
You become free to enter the kingdom of God and live intimately with Jesus. The things of the world lose their appeal as you experience the transfigured life and meet the Living God. You live in awe and respect for the greatness and glory of the Son of God.
Thought for the day:

“I have conquered death and overcome the world. The Son of God has power and dominion over all things in heaven and earth. Come live with Me and I will show you My majesty and grandeur. My purposes for you are life changing and eternal.”
