“And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.” Romans 3:11
The word from God today is “rectitude” and is defined as morally correct behavior or thinking.
You and I can no longer get away with straddling between darkness and light. The voice of Christ is calling for all to awaken from stupor and apathy.
Christ Jesus has started to shake the earth with His judgments. No one is immune. If you think the virus is crippling, you should understand this is just the beginning.
The salvation of Christ is nearer for all. This is not about making a decision for Christ or the consequences of the end times. It is about the integrity of the salvation of Christ. God is holy and will never allow His reputation to be impinged by our societal values. God never changes. You and I have to change our ways.
We have to get serious with God. We have to reckon ourselves dead to sin and alive in Christ. We have to reject darkness and live in the light of God. Christ will no longer tolerate the darkness of our society and the hypocrisy of Christianity.
There is a pervasive attitude in our society that almost anything is appropriate so live life to the fullest and satisfy your every desire.
God hates this amoral culture and is responding with acts of harsh judgments to punish us for our sins.
There is only one pathway to those who want to abide in Christ. It is a narrow gate and is open to all who want to know Christ above all else, live by faith, and are willing to accept the values of Christ without compromise.
Christ is holy and just in all His actions!
