“The Father and I are one.” John 10:30
The Word of God for today is culpability. The definition of culpability is accepting responsibility for a fault or wrong. In the context of Christ, you and I are accountable for all of our thoughts, words, and actions.

The challenge is how can you be accountable to God when you were created to live for self and satisfy fleshly indulgences.
The starting point is to accept you were born under sin and can never get right with God.
And, you can never change yourself regardless of how hard you try.
Christ doesn’t want you to try and deal with your sin. He died to take on this responsibility.
The pathway to a clean heart is through the Cross. Confess your sins and ask Jesus to forgive you with His blood.
Open your heart to the Holy Spirit. Invite Him to search you and identify motives or actions not pleasing to Him. Pray to Christ to purify you with His life.
All of this seems simple but what happens is you and I relapse back into patterns of sin. The harder you try doesn’t seem to make any difference.
The death of sin will come to those who walk by faith living in the promises of Christ. Faith is simply placing your loyalty in Christ above all else. Faith is listening for the voice of Christ and obeying His direction in your life.
Faith develops the character of Christ in your life!
