The definition of hallucinate is to perceive something that is not actually present. Last night God spoke to me about believers “who try to make Me into something that is not really Me.”

This misconception about God has many influences in believers.
Walking with Christ is a life of faith. You reach out to Jesus for your every need believing in the promises of God. Without faith you cannot please God.
Jesus is controversial and at times will act in a radical manner in your life.
Jesus is not predictable. He does not operate with the logic of the world.
Jesus has no ego but we are self driven people and can never match up to the standards of God.
Jesus hates religion. It suffocates a believer with the burden of keeping laws, doing works, and it creates an obligation to religious duties.
Jesus is a God of retribution. He blesses and He curses.
The severe judgment of God is at work today in our world. He is angry over the lack of respect for who He is and our improprieties against His ways
As a believer you will experience suffering and pain. This is because you have been crucified into the death of Christ Jesus.
The Christ follower will experience different seasons with God. There will be times of prosperity and times of deprivation. There will be seasons of ministry and seasons of work and family. There will be times of isolation and times of public acclaim.
You cannot encounter the Living Christ through emotions or experiences. You will find Christ through His Word and listening for His voice.
Jesus will test you to the ends of the earth. Many times this will make no sense to you. The purpose of testing is to build your loyalty to God in times of adversity.
Jesus has given you the Holy Spirit which is the life of Christ. He lives in you and is the source of strength, wisdom, joy, and protection. You walk in oneness with God anchored to the Holy Spirit. There is no other way.
Jesus speaks to believers. You have the mind of Christ; “Be still and know that I am God”.
The gift of salvation is living in the moment with God. He wants to be involved in every aspect of your life. Invite the Holy Spirit to have authority over your life. This will bring the Living Christ into your reality. You will see God for who He is!
There is this sense of a burden to do things for God in many believers. The truth is you cannot do anything for God. He has done the work for you. Learn to rest in God and cease from striving. It is not by might nor by power but by My Spirit.
The character of God is best defined as “Yours, Lord is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. For everything in the heavens and the earth is yours. Yours, Lord is the kingdom; you are exalted as the head over all.”
This is the essence of God and He lives in you.
