“When they came to the threshing floor of Nakon, Uzzah reached out and took hold of the ark of God, because the oxen stumbled. The Lord’s anger burned against Uzzah because of his irreverent act; therefore God struck him down, and he died there beside the ark of God. 2 Samuel:6-7
This biblical story relates to the return of the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem. The Ark contained the presence of the Most Holy God.

It is important to understand that no one can enter into the presence of God unless they are invited by Him like Moses or they follow the Levitical Laws given to Moses in the time before Christ.
God is holy and will not allow you to come into His presence unless you make a sacrifice for your sins. In the Old Testament it was the blood of animals; today it is the blood of Christ.
Uzzah violated the divine instructions of God by touching the Ark and paid for this mistake with his life.
Uzzah attempted to help out God by steadying the cart but he didn’t understand the sovereignty of God. The Lord doesn’t have any weaknesses. And, He will never call out for your help.
The Tower of Babel is another example of not respecting God. You cannot build a tower in an attempt to get close to God or to help Him in anyway. This action caused God to confuse the language of all humanity and scatter them around the world.
The message to the people of Christ is you must respect God at all times and honor Him with your thoughts, words, and actions.
You have to live within the boundaries of God or face the consequences.
The life of a believer is to walk with God by faith anchored to the Holy Spirit.
God has no weakness and requires nothing from you. We must worship God in Spirit and Truth seeking His will for our lives.
God is holy. There is no one like Him!
