Capitulation to Christ, a matter of the heart not the mind!

“Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established.” Proverbs 16:3

The word from God today is “capitulation” which is defined as the action of surrendering to a higher authority. In the context of biblical truth this refers to yielding your life to Jesus.

I am an omniscient God and know you better than you know yourself. Come to Me with a yielding heart and I will bless of desires of your heart.

The idea of surrendering your life to God is overwhelming and cannot be accomplished by a simple prayer. It is a work in progress with many ups and downs.

Think of surrender as a journey with God learning who Jesus is and how to live out His values in your life.

The human personality cannot be changed overnight. You were born to live for self and your personality has been shaped by many diverse factors.

God’s work is a process of congealing you from your self nature into a new creature.

The transformation of the inner man requires a lot of time. It took Moses forty years before he was ready to work for God.

Focus on living with God one day at a time yielding to His will.

The subject of capitulation deals with how you spend your time, what you fill your mind with, your eating and fitness habits, and how you spend your money. God wants to live with you in all these moments of life.

It’s not so much what you do but the motives behind your actions. This is where God works on your capitulation to Him.

The discipline of walking with God is built on prayer, the Word, and listening to the voice of God.

Seek out God by faith living in the promises of Christ! Without faith it is impossible to please God!

Capitulation is obedience to the voice of God. When God speaks to you comply without questioning Him. He is perfect.

God told Abraham to leave his homeland and travel to a new country. Abraham gave up his inheritance and security to venture into the unknown with God.

Commit your works to God today and you will hear His voice!

Jesus loves you!
