Integrating Jesus into your life!

“Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.” Colossians 3:2-3

The challenge for a Christ follower is living in the world without becoming tainted with sin. You can’t devote yourself to God twenty four/seven. We all have to eat, work, deal with family and friends, and have some fun.

The significance of this truth is to have an earnest desire to seek the will of God and live a life pleasing to Him. If you are not fully committed you will be unable to please God and will vacillate between living for self and God.

Just come to God with a transparent attitude and a willingness to change. He will do the rest.

Train your mind on the things of God through prayer, the study of the Word, and listening for His voice.

Commit your works to God each day and then you can focus on worldly things without any concern because God is with you. Remember, He lives in you.

The decision for Christ causes you to die to self but this has to be worked out over many years. God is patient and knows you better than you know yourself.

In your journey with Christ Jesus the things of world which seem important now will gradually fade away as you experience the glory and greatness of the Living Christ.

The Holy Spirit will let you know when you are doing something wrong. He is most concerned with your motives and removing compulsive behaviors that block the power of God working within you.

You have the mind of Christ so trust your thoughts. He will speak to you and guide you into all truth and be a light unto your pathway.

God is more important than ever before because of the deceptive work of the Antichrist attempting to discredit Jesus through new laws and liberal attitudes. It is almost impossible to avoid evil today. It permeates our society.

He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. You can trust God implicitly. He keeps His promises!
