“Now therefore, let Me alone, that My wrath may burn hot against them and I may consume them.” Exodus 32:10
The word from God today deals with questioning or confronting God.
As a believer, you and I have a right to confront God. However, we cannot do this with anger or bitterness. And, we have to understand God will listen to our words but He alone will ultimately determine the justice of your situation.
Aaron and a number of the Israelites built a golden calf and worshipped this false god while Moses was with God on Mount Sinai.
This made God irate. He told Moses He was going to destroy all the Israelites.
Moses pleaded with God and reminded Him of His everlasting covenant with Abraham.
Moses told God you delivered your people out of Egypt and all witnessed your greatness and glory. And, now you want to destroy them. How do you think the Egyptians will react to a God who rescues and then kills His favored people.
God listened to Moses and then relented from His threat.
When God swears by His own words He will not relent from His promises. He cannot do this because He never changes and His Words endure forever.
The truth in this spiritual principle is God keeps His promises made to you. God might get angry over your actions and punish you but He is bound by His Word.
You do have a right to confront God and plead your concerns. Speak to God on His terms which are His words.
Be sure to listen to the response of God and abide in His wisdom.
The end game is you have to wait upon God by faith for the fruition of His promises. He will never fail you!
