Your independence and control will squeeze Jesus out of the picture?

Every human being is born with a unique personality and a human nature to live for self.

God created your individuality as a stepping stone for receiving a new life with Jesus. If you remain in your human nature from birth you will never be one with God. This nature will always live to satisfy self.

The purpose of God is to take away your independence and natural disposition to operate without God. Jesus wants to draw you into a personal and symbiotic relationship with Him. There is no room to be independent or function without God in the gift of salvation.

God designed your personality and human nature for Himself. If you live through your natural life God gets pushed out of the picture. And, you will eventually face destruction and death.

Individuality prevents the growth of spiritual life and creates unbelief in God. Jesus wants all of you and has no interest in being a part time God.

If you are making decisions on your own this is a sign that Jesus is not important in your life.

You must give up the right to yourself and let go of your self centered thinking patterns. Abandonment to God is an internal decision to let God have control of your life.

Christians refuse to surrender to Jesus because they are afraid of losing the things of the world. Human beings want security not God. This is why Jesus told the people following Him after the feeding of the five thousand that they didn’t want Jesus. They wanted the food provided by Him.

The most important precept from God is to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and then all the other things will be added to your life. This precept will never change and governs how Jesus distributes His goodness.

Come to Jesus and hold nothing back. Walk by faith with Him under the authority of the Holy Spirit. The priority of Jesus is not about keeping laws or doing works. Jesus wants a personal and symbiotic relationship built on faith and obedience to His voice.

Letting go and giving Jesus control of your life will be the best decision you will ever make!
