Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever! You can never win in a dispute with Jesus. The defiance will just injure you and ruin your relationship with Jesus.
The condition of defiance is in all human beings. The defiant person is set in his ways and unwilling to change.
We are all born with a desire to live for self and defy God. Christians tend to look the other way when this subject is discussed. They believe taking part in religion and doing good works will satisfy God.
We have to understand how we are defiant against God. The starting point is to read the Bible and have an open heart to change.
You cannot hide sin from Jesus!
Jesus knows a man better than he knows himself. He sees all of your hidden dispositions and evil desires.
The Christ follower must hear the voice of God through the Holy Spirit. He cannot decide what he wants to accept and what he rejects from God.
He is accountable to God for his every thought and action.
God is very serious about sin. He died to forgive your sins with His blood. He offers every man a new life and the ability to be transformed into the character of Jesus. But you must let go and seek the will of Jesus.
The Christ follower cannot hang on to his worldly habits or compulsive behaviors. The darkness has to go or face separation and judgment from Jesus.
Jesus is not looking for perfection just a willingness to change.
The deep inner core of your personality must be crucified by God.
Just admit you have qualities in your personality that are opposed to God and lay your life before the Cross.
Obedience to Jesus opens the door to becoming filled with His greatness and glory. Listen to the instructions of Jesus and respond with obedience without questioning the personal cost or lack of logic.
Walk by faith with an heart open to Jesus. He will do for you what you can never do for yourself.
Jesus has provided the perfect way to be clean and upright in your life!
