“The wicked bend their bow, They make ready their arrow on the string they may shoot secretly at the upright in heart.” Psalm 11:2
We are staying in a beautiful resort in the desert with little money and waiting on God for a new ministry. At times we feel abandoned by God.
The Holy Spirit spoke to me last night about how to become impervious to the evil dangers in the world.
An impervious person is someone who is not affected, influenced, or disturbed by external things.
He does not need to worry when the foundations of his life are threatened or begin to crumble.
The Christ follower can become impervious like Jesus but it requires a powerful transformation into the character of Jesus.
Very few are willing to make the sacrifice to live for Jesus and die to self. This requires a believer to give up his independence and control of his life. He agrees to seek the will of Jesus above all else.
The impervious believer puts Jesus first in his life and does not follow the ways of the world.
This a denial of self and concentrating on Jesus through prayer, reading the Bible which is powerful and alive, and listening for the voice of Jesus.
He is obedient to the instructions of Jesus even if they may cost him his life or bring suffering.
The impervious believer lives under the authority of the Holy Spirit and walks in oneness with Jesus. Like Daniel he is willing to walk into a den of wild lions.
We live in the End Times and face a tumultuous future. I want to receive this powerful promise from Jesus: No weapon formed against me shall prosper.
This becomes my reality by unshakable faith in Jesus and believing in His promises and not what I see with my eyes.
The impervious nature of Jesus is your gift if you are willing to go to any length to please Him!
If you have any questions or need prayers please reach out to me. Jesus is your only hope for the future.
