“Incline Your ear to me, and save me.” Psalm 71:2
In the Bible there is a sense of pleading with God to open His ears and hear our words. And, asking God not to turn His face away or abandon a believer.
In my early years, I thought Jesus would be valuable when I died but for now He was in heaven and untouchable. I needed help for my needs today and felt Jesus was not relevant. I was shocked to find out I could have a personal relationship with Jesus and He would provide help and support for my every need.
The answer to the question above is God hears your every thought and word. But God has a specific plan for your life which might make you think He has closed His ears to your words. Your prayers and requests to Jesus might be counter to His plans that are in the works.
Jesus knows every detail of your life from the beginning to the end.
He is an omniscient God and sees everything. Nothing is hidden from Him.
Jesus will never leave you or forget you. He is a God of unconditional love.
The plan of the Most High is to transform a believer into the character and personality of Jesus. This can be painful and create anxiety. At times it feels like living in a void from Jesus.
This feeling of questioning Jesus over hearing your words can be overcome by prayer, reading the Bible and listening for His voice.
Most importantly, every believer is sealed with the Holy Spirit. He is the life of Jesus and desires to have a consistent dialogue with a believer and be very present in his life. Submit to the authority of the Holy Spirit and there will never be any doubt about the reality or efficacy of Jesus in your life.
Jesus does not think or act like a human being. His ways can seem mysterious and lacking logic. He has a perfect plan for your life. Walk by faith and wait upon Him. Jesus is not in a hurry and knows exactly what He is doing.
I have personally walked with Jesus for many years and have suffered all kinds of trouble. Jesus cannot be explained but He can be trusted implicitly!
