Acquiring money by the standards of Jesus!

“Wealth gained by dishonesty will be diminished, but he who gathers by labor will increase.” Proverbs 13:11

I have discovered that Jesus wants to help me earn money and have a quality life. He desires to give me more than I ask or think.

The starting point is to zealously seek the will of God for my life. This will keep me balanced and grounded in Jesus.

The secret to making money is to operate with integrity and pure motives. 

Many believers will cut corners and make decisions about money with dishonest or misleading intentions. 

The problem is allowing the desires of the flesh and worldly values to govern how you deal with money.

Jesus said seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all the other things of life will be added. This relates strongly to the priorities of making money.

The lust for money brings death and what you have will be taken away.

The discipline of earning money must be submitted to the authority of the Holy Spirit. He is the life of Jesus and alive in all believers. He will keep your motives pure and convict you of attitudes or actions that are not consistent with the precepts of Jesus.

The spiritual principles about earning money can be learned through prayer, reading the Bible and listening to the voice of Jesus.

Do not associate with unbelievers who live by worldly standards or shark characters seeking money at any cost.  They will bring you down.

Jesus is a rewarder of the man who diligently seeks His will!
