I met the Living Christ many years ago and there was never a doubt again about His goodness. I have stumbled many times but He always has compassion and restores me. He is the only source of goodness and truth in my life.
We all want goodness in our life. Jesus defines goodness as the outcome of His death on the Cross.
The world defines goodness as prosperity and fulfilling the desires of the heart.
Jesus makes promises about His goodness which are pure and without any evil. And, Jesus keeps His promises.
The world cannot make any promises. The world is short lived and filled with darkness. People like the world because there are no barriers and they can do as they please.
God protects His people; Satan lives in the world and destroys people with wicked schemes and evil intentions.
There is no darkness in Jesus. He is a perfect God.
The world has many false gods who spread lies about their divinity and works.
Jesus is life changing; the world is stagnant.
Jesus has power and dominion over the heavens and earth. He desires to have a personal and compelling relationship with a believer. Jesus offers a new life which is eternal and filled with His character and values.
The world provides a brief life like a vapor stream. It is here today and gone tomorrow.
Jesus shares His life with His people. They are filled with His powerful attributes of strength, wisdom, joy and protection. The attributes come from Heaven and are limitless.
In the world you must live with your human emotions and strengths. They come and go. There is no sustaining power in the world.
The advantage of Jesus is He seals a believer with the Holy Spirit who is the life of Jesus. This entitles a believer to omniscient wisdom, protection and the powerful presence of Jesus.
The Christ follower submits to the authority of the Holy Spirit and hears the voice of Jesus. He is protected from evil and enveloped with the order and simplicity of Jesus.
The world gives no wisdom or direction. The human being wanders through life trying to make decisions without the mind of Christ. The destiny of the world is instability and death.
The significant advantage of Jesus is the Cross. He died so you can have a quality life and be clean from your sins through His blood. The Cross transforms a believer into a new creature who inherits all the promises of Jesus.
The Christ follower has a brilliant future and lives forever!
