“He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.” 1 Thessalonians 5:24
The calling of Jesus on a person’s life is an irrevocable promise to live with Him forever. The believer accepts the gift of salvation and becomes a new creature in Christ.
Why does Jesus become aloof at times and leaves a believer alone wondering why He has abandoned him?
This happens to all believers at times. Jesus has not departed from a believer. He is simply working in the future to complete His transformation and goals for a believer.
The silence of Jesus is a time to walk by faith and not by what you see with your eyes. It is a time to have unshakable faith and wait upon Him. Pray for the order and simplicity of Jesus to define each day.
Waiting on Jesus is trusting Him to deliver you from your troubles in His perfect timing. It is a sign of believing in the power and greatness of Jesus.
When Jesus seems to be distant it is a time to pray, read the Bible and listen for His voice. Be thankful for the good things in your life and seek His perfect will.
The will of Jesus becomes difficult to understand for a mature believer. He does not clearly disclose the future or provide specific direction. He seems vague and distant.
Jesus desires for a believer to live in the present and let Him orchestrate the future.
The Christ follower is sealed with the Holy Spirit who is the life of Christ. He will keep you in contact with the reality of Jesus and bring His presence into the times of feeling alone and without help.
Jesus is faithful and He is a promise keeper!
