Keep Me as the apple of your eye!

Jesus answered him, “If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me.” John 13:8

The redeeming nature of God is that He constantly offers forgiveness for sins and the ability to be restored to your Creator.

You and I will fall into sin today but God promises the blood of the cross to cleanse and purify us with His nature.

Think of God like the father of the prodigal son. The son left the love and protection of his father to experience the filthy ways of life. However, when the son returned to his father he was welcomed back with unconditional love. In fact, the father planned a sumptuous banquet to celebrate his son’s return.

Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

God is holy and pure. He is the perfect atonement for sin. You cannot draw near to God without a heart of repentance and a contrite spirit.

Jesus came to reclaim those living in the gutters of life. His heart is with those who understand they need a doctor to heal a diseased inner condition.

The deeper you grow with God the more you will see your corrupt and impoverished inner being and the precious gift of the salvation of the Lord.

Ask Jesus to wash your feet today and go into the world proclaiming the greatness and glory of God!

The eternal stream of the Living Water!

Discover “Christ in you” and live through Him today!

Who ever drinks of the water that I shall give Him will never thirst.” John 4:14

You wake up today lacking the life and vigor of God. The Spirit of life in Christ Jesus lives in you and desires to fill you with Himself. Think of an endless reservoir of strength, wisdom, joy, and patience.

IMG_0662

Ask God to fill you with His virtue. But ask by faith in the Father of Light. Whatever your challenge today, God will give you a victory.

Come before God as an empty vessel and recognize the strength of God is made perfect in your weakness.

Ask God to go before you and make sure you are following and not trying to lead the Holy Spirit.

He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. Draw upon the power of the Holy Spirit and listen to His voice. The wisdom of God will help you navigate through the day and avoid the pitfalls of the world.

The Holy Spirit is your hope for life and life more abundantly. He will do for you what you cannot do for yourself.

Drink the Living Water and you will be nourished with the life of your Savior!

God does not leave loose ends!

Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;” Philippians 1:6

You can be confident that Jesus Christ is at work in your life at this very moment. Much of His work is done below your consciousness but He is refining and purifying you with His nature. You have a calling in your life and God is preparing for you to walk in His footsteps.

IMG_0663

All things work for the good for those who love God and are called according to His purposes. The most important thing you can do for God today is to live in His purposes whatever they might be.

Each believer has a unique walk with God and it does not necessarily relate to your work. And, your walk will change with the seasons of God. Find the purposes of God and live in the work of the cross.

When you live in the purposes of God you will find His strength, wisdom, and peace. You will come face to face with the Living God and become overwhelmed with His tender love and mercy.

Get to know Jesus Christ by abandoning yourself to Him and trusting Him for your every need. Praise Him, pray constantly, and fill yourself with His Word. Make the Holy Spirit your confidant and best friend. Learn to “Be still and know that I am God.”

No stone will be left unturned in your life. Jesus will explore and live in every aspect of your life. He wants you to be complete in Him and to be a vessel flowing with the Living Water.

You life might seem like there are a lot of loose ends but the perfection of God is at work to give you His character and wholeness. He lives so you can live!

Do you identify yourself with Jesus Christ?

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20

Today’s blog is just as important for believers as non believers. In fact, it is probably more important for people who profess to be Christians.

The decision is whether you will function through life operating in your own identity or trade your natural identity for the person of Jesus Christ. If you live through your own identity, you will be like a car stalled in deep sand. Your wheels will spin but you will get nowhere with God.

To identify with Jesus Christ, you have to make a decision to live for Him and through Him. He becomes the centerpiece of your life and you live in oneness with your Creator.

You also have to give up the right to yourself and invite Jesus to live in every aspect of your life. This will cause you to take on the personality of Jesus and begin to live in His righteousness.

Jesus Christ is your only hope for freedom from your impoverished and corrupt inner being and the bondage of sin. You were born with a rebellious spirit and a desire to live for self.

In addition, the experiences from your past have created habits that keep you from receiving the fullness of God. You also carry a genetic disposition for sin from your ancestry.

God’s purpose is to set you free and restore you to Himself. He offers you an amazing opportunity to be transformed from your natural state to a new creature in Christ Jesus.

When you become baptized with the Water and Spirit, your eyes become open to the things of God. You see the excellence and splendor of God and begin to sample the abundant life.

You become free to enter the kingdom of God and live intimately with Jesus. The things of the world lose their appeal as you experience the transfigured life and meet the Living God. You live in awe and respect for the greatness and glory of the Son of God.

Thought for the day:

“I have conquered death and overcome the world. The Son of God has power and dominion over all things in heaven and earth. Come live with Me and I will show you My majesty and grandeur. My purposes for you are life changing and eternal.”

Who am I to doubt the voice of God!

You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you” 2 Chronicles 20:17

The hand of the Lord delivered the Israelites who were threatened by the vast armies of three enemy nations. It was not by their might nor by their strength but by the Spirit of God. The battle was not theirs to fight but God who led them to victory.

IMG_0749

Faith is believing God can do for you what you cannot do for yourself. Faith is letting go and waiting upon the greatness and glory of God.

Faith is understanding you are weak and powerless and your strength comes from God.

The favor of God will fall upon those who worship Him in Spirit and Truth and trust Him for their every need. Without faith you cannot please God!

You and I need to wake up today and position ourselves with God through praise, prayer, and dwelling in the richness of His Word. And, listen for His voice. Then you can stand still and see the salvation of the Lord!

Thought for the day:

Call upon the Lord for your help. He will supply your every need according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus. No one can compare to God!”

The remnant people of God!

This third I will put into the fire;
I will refine them like silver
And test them like gold.
They will call on my name
And I will answer them;
I will say, ‘They are my people,’
and they will say, ‘The Lord is our God.’” Zechariah 13:8-9

You and I are living in a season of the judgment of God.

We have found to be negligent and lacking in the qualities of God. We talk about God and play act but fail miserably in living for Him.

If you call on the name of God, you have to make a decision to live consistently wth Him through the trials of life.

The laws of God are in his heart and none of his steps shall slide.

God tests His people to determine if they will have a steadfast and unyielding faith through the storms. And, the deeper you walk with God the more you can expect severe testing.

The “set apart” people will reflect the renown, praise, and glory of God. They will call upon God and He will answer them. They will be the pillars in His church.

The remnant in the Body of Christ will walk through the fires of God and be refined and purified to reflect the character of the Father of Light. People will see the virtue of God working in and through them and covet what they have.

The characteristic of a spirit filled believer is loyalty and dedication to Jesus built on who He is and never on the circumstances of life.

Your foundation with Jesus has to be built on trust in the promises of His Word. Emotions will come and go and can never be trusted. Your security has to be in the Word of God.

Great is the Lord and worthy of your praise!

How to find the treasures of God!

Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him. But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:9-10

IMG_0654

The gift of eternal life begins with your decision for Jesus and continues forever. Eternal life is the life of Jesus living in you. It begins as a fountain of Living Water and springs up to living with Jesus forever.

You find the treasures of Jesus by living in oneness with Him through His Spirit. Jesus reveals Himself to you through the Spirit who takes what belongs to Him and shares it with you.

You cannot understand the deep things in yourself or someone else except through understanding the essence of the personality and human spirit. You see the surface but not what is underneath. Likewise the Spirit teaches you the deep principles of God and introduces you to the living Jesus.

You will never find God through worldly wisdom or religion. If you are a believer, your source to the treasures of God will come to you through the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is your lifeline to God. Invite Him to live in every aspect of your life and you will meet the Living God and experience the transfigured life!

Thought for the day:

You are blinded to the things of God without the working of My Spirit. Come worship Me in Spirit and Truth and I will show you My greatness and glory.”

Neglecting the Son of God!

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:21

What do you treasure most dearly in all your life?

In the middle of last night God spoke to me about what most troubles His heart. Most believers lack a genuine commitment to Jesus. Their faith ebbs and flows based on the conditions of their life.

Here are some thoughts from God:

My people are negligent in giving Me the devotion and loyalty that I deserve. They run hot and cold with Me and forget who I am.

They grow weary and aloof from Me as they become preoccupied with the cares of the world.

I want to have intimate and warm companionship with My people and live in every aspect of their life but they partition Me off and hold on to things dear to them.

They try to appease Me with works, offerings, and sacrifices and forget I only desire for them to unconditionally trust My Word.

Faith is centering your life on the person of Jesus Christ and trusting Him for your every need. You treasure Jesus above all else because He is the fullness of the Godhead.

He is a God of greatness, power, glory, victory, and majesty. No one can compare to God. He is the author and perfector of life.

Commit yourself to God and let go of the things of the world. He is your only hope for an abundant life. He lives so you can live!

How to be successful with God!

“Wealth gained by dishonesty (vanity) will be diminished, but he who labors will increase.” Proverbs 13:11 You can exert maximum effort and energy to make a living (or accomplish a goal) however the outcome can easily become diminished or end up less than the desired result. “Wealth gained by dishonesty (vanity) will be diminished, but he who labors will increase.” Proverbs 13:11

You can exert maximum effort and energy to make a living (or accomplish a goal) however the outcome can easily become diminished or end up less than the desired result.

IMG_0676
My desires are your desires. Walk with Me by faith and I will make your cup overflowing with My goodness!

This occurs when you are functioning without the strength and guidance of God and relying on self sufficiency. To be successful you have to commit your works to God and operate with pure motives. You seek out God for wisdom and direction and walk with Him by faith.

Noah could not have built the ark without the strength and wisdom of God. He was operating in the will of God and was successful because God was His partner.

Gideon did not defeat the Midianites with a strong army. His army was only three hundred men and they were greatly outnumbered by the enemy. God was his victor!

Joshua was successful in leading the Israelites to the Promised Land and defeating their enemies because God was with him and went before him.

You have to be living in the flow of God to be successful. He is the tree of life and His works endure forever.

Thought for the day:

IMG_0551

“I am the God of the harvest! I determine the outcome of your efforts and without Me you can do nothing. My success comes to those who labor under My authority and live out My values. Nothing is impossible for Me!”

Experiencing the transfigured life!

“There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light. Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus.” Matthew 17:2-3

The definition of transfiguration is “a complete change of form or appearance into a more beautiful or spiritual state.” This is the work of God in creating a new creature in Christ Jesus.

IMG_0745
That they be one even as we are one!

The disciples witnessed a moment of what heaven is like and saw the glory of God. The process of transfiguration takes place in all believers as you let go and seek the righteousness of Jesus.

You cannot live on the Mount of Transfiguration nor should you pursue it. However, you can be transfigured into the life and personality of Jesus while here on earth.

The fullness of God will come to you through your faith and obedience to the Son of God. Draw near to God through praise, prayer, and His indwelling Spirit. Let the Word of Christ live richly in your thoughts, words and actions.

Sin blocks the transfigured life so you must come before God with a contrite heart and a willingness to change your ways. God will never change so you and I have to change to live in closeness with God.

Thought for the day:

“I have come that you might have life and have it more abundantly. When you hear My voice drop everything and come quickly to Me. I will show you the transfigured life and live with you forever.”
