Finding the perfect will of God!

It’s not so much what you do but your heart condition with God. Develop a proclivity for seeking out God!

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:1

You were created by God with a unique personality, special character traits, and individual strengths and weaknesses. You also carry a genetic disposition for sin from your ancestry. Your personality has also been shaped by experiences during your early years and the influences from your parents and family members.

God knows you better than you know yourself and He is omniscient and sees all of your future. He knows what is best for you!

Walk with Me by faith trusting Me for your every need. I live in the moment!

All of these considerations are important in finding the perfect will of God. What is acceptable for me may not be acceptable for you and likewise for both of us.

You cannot “rubber stamp” your walk with God to conform to other people or follow a specific role model for a Christian. God looks at all the mitigating factors in your life in determining how He will use you. Each believer will have a different walk with God.

You have to abandon yourself completely to God and invite Him to live in every aspect of your life. This is the starting point in finding the perfect will of God.

Next you must learn to live in oneness with God through the essence of the Holy Spirit. Invite the Holy Spirit to take authority over your life and show you the perfect will of God.

You can accomplish oneness with God by devoting yourself to prayer and the Word of God. You also must learn “To be still and know that I am God”.

Develop the discipline of taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ Jesus and maintaining an inner consciousness with God through His Spirit.

Thought for the day:

“I want to be a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your pathway. Commit your works to Me each day and I will fill you with My thoughts and guide you into the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.”

Are you identified with Jesus Christ?

“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20

You cannot identify with the life of Jesus unless you “let go” completely and are willing to die to self and live for God. You make a commitment to place the Son of God ahead of your own desires and live for Him.

IMG_0717
The Father and I are one!

This is about a heart condition to please Jesus without expectation or outcome. When you make this transaction you will meet the Living God and He will dwell inside you.

You have to be willing to die to sin and live in the righteousness of God. Sin diminishes the power of the Holy Spirit and restricts you from receiving the fullness of God.

The foundation of your walk with Jesus is trusting Him for your every need. You live out your faith in the Son of God one day at a time. You dedicate your life to this precept: “My help comes from the Lord who created the heavens and earth”.

You have the mind of Christ and He will fill you with His thoughts and guide your pathway. God will give you His strength to meet your every challenge in life.

You will also identify with the afflictions of Christ and His feelings of pain and sorrow. Your life in many ways will mirror the life of Jesus.

The believer identified with Jesus wakes up each day seeking the will of God!

Thought for the day:

“You need a willing spirit and a contrite heart to follow Me. I want your unyielding faith in My promises and your obedience to My voice without reservation or explanation. My Word is life changing and eternal. There is no one like Me.”

The voice of God to the body of Christ!

I will punish the world for its evil, the wicked for their sins. I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty and will humble the pride of the ruthless.” Isaiah 13:11

This bible verse is in the heart of God for today. You cannot call yourself a believer and play both sides of the street. Light and dark cannot coexist. If anyone is in Christ he is a new creature and old things have passed away and all things are new. You have to abide in the new creature and live in oneness with the Holy Spirit.

IMG_0466

God holds you accountable for your every thought and action. He blesses and He curses. You have to abide in the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus to be free from the bondage of sin. God lives in you and wants to fill you with Himself and keep you from evil.

Forget about your works and trying to be a righteous Christian. Jesus Christ wants you to walk with Him by faith and be baptized into His death and resurrection. Your life should be a microcosm of the life of Jesus.

Jesus wants you to get to the point where you wake up each day with just one purpose; “How can I please you today dear Jesus?”

The judgment of God is upon the world. You can choose to be a member of the remnant of Christ and live a life of devotion and loyalty to Jesus or you can suffer the consequences of a lackluster faith.

You will never be able to fully understand the Living God and He will never explain His actions. You just have to trust God and learn to live in praise, prayer, and His Word. God wants you to worship Him in Spirit and Truth and to “Be still and know that I am God”.

Thought for the day:

IMG_0333

My promises are you only hope for life. The world will fade away but My Word will endure forever. Without faith you cannot please Me. Abandon yourself to Me and I show you My purposes. I live so you can live!”

Belonging to God!

Your destiny is in My hands. The world will fail you but I have overcome the world!

My mouth shall tell of Your righteousness
And Your salvation all the day,
For I do not know their limits.
I will go in the strength of the Lord God;
I will make mention of Your righteousness, of Yours only.” Psalm 71:15-16

Life brings all kinds of challenges and troubles! As a believer, you belong to God and have a higher calling. You live in the world but you are not of the world.

Regardless of what you are facing today, God wants you to praise Him for His righteousness and the gift of salvation. Where sin abounds His grace abounds more. God is without limits and will fill you with His strength to overcome all your challenges.

IMG_0743
Draw near to Me and I will draw near to you!

God desires to increase your greatness and comfort you on every side. He is a God of compassion and mercy.

The world cannot satisfy your soul because you were created by God. You are a spiritual being designed for good works and you can only find nourishment in the Living Water.

Drink the Living Water through prayer and praise from your lips all the day long. Mediate on the Word of God and live in oneness with the Holy Spirit!

Thought for the day:

IMG_0551

“You belong to Me and I am your only source for life. Come live with Me and I will nourish your soul and share Myself with you. I am a God without limits and desire to give you more than you ask or think. The world will lead you astray but My ways are perfect.”

God is trustworthy!

“I am an immovable God and I never change. My security is life changing and eternal.”

For in him we live and move and have our being.” Acts 17:28

IMG_0742

In the middle of last night God spoke to me about His nature. He told meI am trustworthy and I keep My Word.”

God explained that the compelling need for security interferes in your relationship with Him. You and I tend to have motives and fears that cause us to take actions to gain security and we overlook the greatness of God.

Troubles come when you get ahead of God and operate without the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit.

There is the security of God and the false security of the world. In reality, there is no security in the world because all humanity has a predisposition for sin and the evil intentions of Satan who wants to steal, kill, and destroy.

You are vulnerable to destruction and misery living in the world but Jesus has overcome the world. He died for you and is your only hope for an abundant life.

Place your trust in the Living God and you will be eternally secure. God told me:

“I am an immovable God and I never change. My security is life changing and eternal.”

As a believer, Jesus has given you His ability to be aplomb” and you can walk through life with confidence and assurance. God lives in you and His Word will endure forever!

Walking with the Living God!

And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.” John 14:16-17

Walking with God is a moment to moment relationship with the Living God. You recognize that Jesus lives in you in the essence of the Holy Spirit and you worship Him in Spirit and Truth.

You have no partitions in your life. You invite God to live in every aspect of your life including your eyes, your mind, your thoughts, and your personality. You ask the Spirit of God to search you and reveal anything not pleasing to Him.

You acknowledge God in your decision making and inquire of Him before taking any action. And, when in doubt you wait upon God for His wisdom and clarity.

You have the mind of Christ and you ask God to fill you with His thoughts and guide your pathway.

You walk by faith trusting God to meet your every need and you wait upon the Lord for His perfect timing.

IMG_0646
It is not by might nor by power but by My Spirit!

You commit each day to God and come to Him with praise, prayer, and you abide in His Word.

You acknowledge God for who He is and live a Christ centered life filled with the Living Water.

Thought for the day:

IMG_0551

I am a Living God and desire to have a personal and intimate relationship with you. I know you better than you know yourself and I want to become your best friend. Honor Me for who I am and I will give you an abundant life filled with My goodness.”

Reckless abandonment to the Son of God!

I and My Father are one.” John 10:30

There is no predictable course of life or consistency in walking with God. You will find out Jesus will break all your preconceived ideas about how to live with Him. What you think God should do will probably turn out to be an opposite action. Who can judge the mind of God?

Jesus wants your reckless abandonment to Him without any explanation or outcome. He wants your unyielding devotion and loyalty to Him regardless of where life takes you. You cannot please God without faith. You live trusting in the promises of God through the good and difficult times.

IMG_0741
In Him we live and move and have our being!

Jesus is not interested in your ideals or convictions about becoming a believer. Very simply, He wants you to live in oneness with Him through the power of the Holy Spirit. “I and My Father are one” is the modicum for your relationship with Jesus.

Walking with God has very little to do with religion or works but relates to your heart condition to the Son of God. You cannot do anything for God because Jesus accomplished the works of God on the cross. All you can do is live in the work of the cross and believe in the words of Jesus.

Walk by faith and not by sight and be obedient to the voice of God. Jesus wants you to judge Him by His promises and never by the circumstances in your life! He lives so you can live!

Thought for the day:

IMG_0551

My disciple walks with Me by faith and does not question My actions. Trust Me for who I am and never by the conditions of your life. I live above your life.”

When all else fails, turn to the Living God!

What are mere mortals that you should think about them,
human beings that you should care for them?
Yet you made them only a little lower than God
and crowned them with glory and honor.
You gave them charge of everything you made,
putting all things under their authority.” Psalm 8:4-6

When you are at the end of your rope and life seems hopeless, there is a loving and caring God waiting to lift you out of your desperation and deliver you.

God created you in His image and cares deeply about you. He thinks about you every moment of your life and watches over you at all times. You can live miles apart from God but He is always near you. Where your sin abounds His love is greater. He desires to cover your sins with His blood and restore you to Himself.

God crowned you with His glory and honor and commanded you to be fruitful and multiply. He gave you His authority over all creation.

God desires to give you an abundant life and bless you with more than you ask or think.

Reach out to God today and He will do for you what you cannot do for yourself. How great is our God!

Thought for the day:

IMG_0551

“I am standing at your front door knocking. Open your door and I will come into your life and fill you with My greatness and glory. Nothing is impossible for Me. I live so you can live.”

Save me O God!

But it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your countenance, Because You favored them.” Psalm 44:4

How do you gain the favor of God?

The favor of God will fall upon you when you make a heart transaction with almighty God. You give up the right to yourself and agree to live for God.

IMG_0722
The Lord is my light and my salvation whom shall I fear!

You have to let go completely and live by faith in the Son of God. When you make this transaction you will meet the Living God and your life will never be the same.

You will understand the greatness of God and the futility of living without Him. You will learn to wait on God and live by this spiritual principle; “It is not by might nor by power but by My Spirit.”

You will gain the favor of God through your devotion and loyalty to Him. You will trust God for your every need and seek Him out through prayer, praise, and living in His Word.

You will walk with God in oneness with the Holy Spirit and learn to “Be still and know that I am God.”

Thought for the day:

IMG_0551

Salvation is of the Lord! Without Me you can do nothing. Place your hope in My greatness and glory and stand still and watch Me do for you what you can never do for yourself! Come to Me by faith and I will restore you to Myself. I am above all things.”

You can’t please God with your works!

Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt.” Romans 4:12

This is one of the most important precepts in the Bible concerning your relationship with God. Your works will not bring the grace of God. The grace of God will come to you through your faith in the Son of God and your obedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

IMG_0740
Where your fathers tested Me, tried Me, And saw My works forty years.

You are justified to God by faith not by works. The premise that good works will entitle you to the blessings of God is false and misleading.

Salvation cannot be earned. It is a gift from God and comes to you by faith in Jesus Christ. Faith is living one day at a time trusting God for your every need. You walk by faith not by sight believing God calls things that don’t exist as if they did.

Abraham became the father of many nations because He heard the voice of God and was obedient. He was justified by faith and not by his works.

You will never be judged by your righteousness. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. You will please God by your unwavering faith in His promises regardless of the circumstances in your life.

Learn to start trusting almighty God for your every need and remember He is not obligated to do anything for you based on your works. Without faith it is impossible to please God!

“Come to Me by faith with praise and thanksgiving for who I am and for what I have done for you. Place your expectations in My Word not in your works. Your faith in My name will make you whole. There is no one like Me!”
