What you see is not what you get from Jesus!

“By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.”

Hebrews 11:3

I was driving home today after getting a haircut and working out in a fitness club and the Holy Spirit told me to read Hebrews 11. I now understand why my life seems like a black void. God is at work in the invisible.

God created the world from His words.

Nothing existed before the creation story. It was just a black void.

God spoke and the world was made along with every living creature. God saw the creation and said it was good.

Now let’s look at your life and see what you are asking God to give you.

All you see is a black void. This is because God calls things that don’t exist as if they did.

God creates by faith. This is how He provides for believers.

We don’t believe what we see with our eyes; we trust in the invisible world of God and have faith in the promises of Jesus.

The perfect will of God comes in His perfect timing.

We have an obligation to walk by faith with a clean heart and pure motives.

God desires to bless His people abundantly and give them more than they ask or think.

Commit your works each day to Jesus and submit to the authority of the Holy Spirit. Listen for the voice of Jesus and obey His instructions.

Jesus will turn your life from a black void into a beautiful work of mastery!

Are you listening to the voice of Jesus or religion?

“For in Him, we live and move and have our being.” Acts 17:28

The Holy Spirit spoke to me today and said Christianity is rampant with false teaching, religion and regulations. It turns people off.

The focus is on religion not relationship with Jesus.

Christianity is not relevant or appealing because it insists on teaching rules and controlling people through religion.

The motives of most churches are not pure. They are money motivated.

Christianity tends to interpret the Bible so it conforms to the changing nature of our society. Jesus never changes. He is the same yesterday, today and forever.

We must accept Jesus for who He is and not the standards of religion.

Jeremiah, the prophet, dealt with this problem with the Israelites. He said the Israelites refuse to listen to God and satisfy the lusts of their flesh while worshiping false gods.

The theme in this story is describing God like a sash that clings to the waist of a man.

God caused the people of Israel to cling closely to Him and become a “set apart” nation filled with the renown, praise and glory of God but they would not listen.

God drew the Israelites to Him through the faith of Abraham and His promises to the people of Israel.

This rebellion against God continued with the Israelites who witnessed the greatness and glory of God in delivering them out of slavery in Egypt.

Most Christians do not listen to the voice of God; they listen to the voice of religion. This more comfortable and less disturbing to their lifestyle.

The purpose of Jesus is to develop a personal and endearing relationship with a believer built on the principles of faith. He desires to speak to His people and be very present in their lives.

Jesus wants a believer to experience the reality of His life and walk in oneness with Him. He despises religion.

Religion desires to control believers and Jesus sets people free.

The authenticity of Jesus is found in the Holy Spirit. He is the life of Jesus and sealed in all believers. This is how a believer can walk in oneness with Jesus and experience His amazing reality.

Jesus guides your pathway and offers the simplicity and order of His divine presence in this upside down and chaotic world.

The sash became decayed and proved to be worthless and of no value to God.

The Living Christ is your only hope for life, protection and the abundance of Jesus!

You can read about Jeremiah and the sash in the Bible in Jeremiah 13:1-11. Have a good day and let me know if you have questions or need prayer.

Is Jesus for real?

“I am who I am.” Exodus 3:14

Jesus doesn’t need an introduction or a definition of His divine presence. He is God and nothing is impossible for Him.

I found out many years ago Jesus was real. I was dealing with a crisis and feeling very desperate. For the first time in my life I said with an open heart to Jesus “I need your help.” Jesus responded with help and I found out how insignificant I am compared to the greatness and glory of God.

The intellect of a human being cannot find or experience Jesus.  The non believer must meet the Living Christ in person and witness His divine nature. Then there will be no turning back.

The only way to prove the validity of Jesus is to speak to Him. Jesus is very accessible. Be transparent and tell Him you doubt He exists.

Jesus also works through dreams and visions to prove His authenticity. Just ask and He will reveal Himself to you.

Reach out to Jesus with a respectful attitude. Clear your mind of all the clutter and then ask Jesus to speak to you. You will hear Him loud and clear as He puts His words into your thoughts.

Ask Jesus to tell you something about yourself that is unknown to anyone else. You will be shocked and amazed at the omniscient wisdom of Jesus. He knows you better than you know yourself.

Jesus is unconditional love and has no ego. He wants a personal and endearing relationship with a believer built on faith.

Jesus forgives all your sins with His blood and removes all shame and condemnation from a believer.

Jesus is not religious or asking you to immerse yourself in religion. He wants to set you free from all laws and regulations.

Jesus is the radiance of the glory of God and a perfect imprint of His nature. He is meek and humble and desires the very best for a believer.

Jesus desires to bring order and simplicity into a believer’s life and protect him from the evils of the world.

Jesus becomes present in your life through the Holy Spirit. He is the life of Jesus and is sealed in all believers. He speaks to believers, teaches how to live with pure motives and transforms a mere mortal into the character of Jesus. He brings the reality of Jesus into all the moments of life.

You are very important to Jesus. He will always make time for you. Jesus wants to give you an abundant life filled with His goodness.

Jesus will do for you what you can never do for yourself.  He is a promise keeper!

The Jesus packaged in religion or the Jesus free, alive and very accessible!

“Not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.” 2 Corinthians 3:6

This scripture makes it very clear that the laws destroy and kill but the Spirit brings life. Easter is about a new life with Jesus.

Christianity packages Jesus into rules and regulations. The leaders teach Jesus can only be found through a church and a believer must submit to the rules of the Church.

The good news about Easter is Jesus shattered religion and made it possible for anyone to receive the gift of salvation by faith.

Jesus detests religion. It attempts to control believers. Jesus wants His people to be free of all regulations.

Easter is a perfect time to seek the reality of Jesus without the fanfare of religion. He is very accessible and desires to have a personal and endearing relationship with a believer.

He desires to speak to His people and be very present in all the moments of life. Jesus transforms believers into the character and purity of the Most High.

Easter makes the Holy Spirit available to all believers. He is the life of Christ and the portal to the powerful attributes of Jesus. The Holy Spirit is sealed in all believers and brings the reality of Christ into the life of a believer.

We live in the End Times and facing impossible challenges. Easter is your only hope for protection and well being!

Today we are in a holding pattern but tomorrow we will celebrate the resurrection of Jesus.

Jesus resurrected several godly people from death on Easter. They appeared as a powerful and legitimate witness to those living in Jerusalem.

Jesus is alive and looking for you! He is a passionate God!

How did Jesus make Good Friday good?

“It is finished” John 19:30

The world was turned upside down with the death of Jesus. Religion was declared void and replaced by faith in Jesus. Satan was defeated and death is not a concern for a believer.

Good Friday was a painful day for Jesus. He was beaten, verbally mocked and finally tortured to death. Jesus suffered a humiliating end to His life.

Jesus was faithful to God to the very end. He didn’t want to experience Good Friday but knew this was God’s will.

Good Friday was very successful for all humanity. The death of Jesus provided forgiveness for all our sins and the gift of salvation for believers.

We owe a lot to Jesus to escape death and have our slate wiped clean with His blood.

Good Friday happened because of the unconditional love of God. He wanted to change a rebellious and self serving mankind into the character and purity of God.

There is no hope in the world but now we have great hope in the promises of Jesus.

Good Friday can give a mere mortal a new life filled with the goodness of Jesus. There is no fear of death for a Christ follower.

Good Friday was a victory for Jesus and all humanity.

The portal to experiencing Good Friday is these words; “Not my will but Yours be done.”

Just an Easter brunch or celebrating with the Living Christ!

“I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25-26

The Holy Spirit told me this morning that Jesus is translucent. He is a powerful light and makes blurry things perfectly clear. He brings transparency and clarity to a mere mortal enabling him to see Jesus is the real deal.

Easter is about a new life. Without Easter there is no reason to reach out to Jesus. He would just be a dead figure in history.

The defining nature of Jesus is He died and was resurrected to live with God forever.

Easter is an invitation to get to know the Living Christ and live with Him forever.

Jesus is alive. He is not a myth. Jesus is very accessible.

Jesus promises the gift of salvation to all humanity. This gift is free and can never be earned.

Salvation is not about time. It is living in a personal relationship with the reality of the Living Christ. He becomes very present and powerful in your life.

Jesus is Holy and without sin. He wants nothing to do with your natural life at birth which desires to live for self and defy God.

Salvation is becoming a new creature in Christ. Jesus forgives all your sins with His blood and transforms a believer into the character and purity of Jesus.

Easter is submitting to the authority of the Holy Spirit who is the life of Jesus and sealed in a believer.

Jesus speaks consistently to a believer and provides omniscient wisdom to guide his footsteps.

Jesus shares His powerful attributes which come from Heaven. He fills believers with strength, wisdom, joy and protection.

Jesus brings His order and simplicity into life and takes away the frantic pace of the world.

The value of Easter is the promise of an abundant and eternal life with Jesus and His sworn commitment to deliver a believer from troubles and adversity.

Jesus has power and dominion over the heavens and earth and commands a powerful army of angels to protect a believer.

Jesus is personally invested in all your goals and wants to see you achieve success.

Jesus can give you a life you can never achieve on your own.

He is your only hope for the future!

Nothing keeps Jesus silent not even the stones!

“And some of the Pharisees called to Him from the crowd, “Teacher, rebuke Your disciples.” But He answered and said to them, “I tell you that if these should keep silent, the stones would immediately cry out.” Luke 19:39-40

The disciples were praising Jesus on His entry into Jerusalem but Jesus was warned by the religious leaders to rebuke His disciples.

Jesus responded that if His disciples keep quiet the stones would cry out praising Him.

Jesus was preparing to give up His life for all humanity. This is a time for rejoicing for the gift of salvation.

All the creation work of God at the beginning of the universe worships Jesus. He is in all things.

Jesus cannot be controlled or limited by any force in the universe. His Word will never return void.

Jesus died so you and I can live with him forever. He defeated the power of Satan and shattered the doctrines of religion.

Jesus deserves our praise. Jesus is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

Palm Sunday is the beginning of a victory for Jesus.

If you have any questions or need prayer please reach out to me and I will respond quickly.

Why does Jesus call you and then suddenly disappears?

“He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.” 1 Thessalonians 5:24

The calling of Jesus on a person’s life is an irrevocable promise to live with Him forever. The believer accepts the gift of salvation and becomes a new creature in Christ.

Why does Jesus become aloof at times and leaves a believer alone wondering why He has abandoned him?

This happens to all believers at times. Jesus has not departed from a believer. He is simply working in the future to complete His transformation and goals for a believer.

The silence of Jesus is a time to walk by faith and not by what you see with your eyes. It is a time to have unshakable faith and wait upon Him. Pray for the order and simplicity of Jesus to define each day.

Waiting on Jesus is trusting Him to deliver you from your troubles in His perfect timing. It is a sign of believing in the power and greatness of Jesus.

When Jesus seems to be distant it is a time to pray, read the Bible and listen for His voice. Be thankful for the good things in your life and seek His perfect will.

The will of Jesus becomes difficult to understand for a mature believer. He does not clearly disclose the future or provide specific direction.  He seems vague and distant.

Jesus desires for a believer to live in the present and let Him orchestrate the future.

The Christ follower is sealed with the Holy Spirit who is the life of Christ. He will keep you in contact with the reality of Jesus and bring His presence into the times of feeling alone and without help.

Jesus is faithful and He is a promise keeper!

If you have questions or would like to share your experiences with Jesus please reach out to me. I am also available to pray for you.

Blinded by the foolishness of the world or living in the grandeur of Jesus!

“Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.” 1 Corinthians 1:24

This is the time to wake up and seek Jesus. He will give you a new life and purpose. Do not waste anymore time chasing the foolishness of the world. It will eventually destroy and kill you.

This is a no brainer if you can understand the analogy used in the scripture above concerning wisdom and foolishness.

If God was foolish He would still be wiser than man. And, if God was weak He would be still be stronger than man. This is to illustrate the fallacy of living by the standards of the world. The world is built on foolish principles and is void of the wisdom of God.

It is impossible to know God through the wisdom of the world. The message of the world is foolishness and lacks the truths of God. The human mind cannot find Jesus.

The natural man cannot receive the things of the Holy Spirit. They are foolishness to him because he is not spiritually discerned.

God has chosen the simple, weak and unworthy to receive the gift of salvation.

The wisdom of God is omniscient. He knows every detail of your life from the past through the future. Jesus knows you better than you know yourself. He sees all your weaknesses and desires to help you make good decisions with pure motives.

The wisdom of God comes from heaven and can be discovered by prayer, reading the Bible and listening for the voice of God.

Jesus seals all believers with the Holy Spirit who is the life of Jesus. He is a fountain of wisdom and protection.

The safety net is to submit to the authority of the Holy Spirit and commit your works each day to Him. This will bring the thoughts and presence of Jesus into all your decision making. He will create order and simplicity into your life.

The wisdom of Jesus is priceless and perfect. Walk by faith with Jesus and trust Him implicitly. He will be a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your pathway!

Please reach out to me if you have questions or comments. I am also here to pray for you. The wisdom of God will give you an abundant life filled with His goodness.

The wisdom of Jesus is more valuable than gold!

Resting in Jesus or living in the unrest of the world?

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” Matthew 11:28-29

The rest of Jesus brings the order and simplicity of His life into all my plans for today. I cannot function smoothly without His omniscient wisdom. Jesus knows me better than I know myself. He keeps me from stumbling or making bad decisions.

Jesus is calling all those who are burdened and cannot find peace or joy to come to Him.

Jesus offers a new way to live free of burdens. Jesus died so you can live in His rest.

Jesus is worthy to be your God. He offers a believer His strength and protection and to learn from His values.

We need to examine the person of Jesus in making a decision for Him.

Jesus is alive and very accessible. He has a personality and range of emotions just like you. He can identify with the challenges of the world because He suffered and died here.

Jesus is gentle and compassionate. He is a humble and meek God. He is a God of unconditional love without any partiality to offering the gift of salvation to a human being.

Jesus has no ego. He desires to draw all unbelievers to Him. He will never force a person to come to Him. The unbeliever must reach out to Jesus.

The significance of Jesus is His sacrifice on the Cross. He died so a human being can have eternal life and receive forgiveness for all his sins by the blood of Christ. The slate is wiped clean and a believer can face Jesus blameless and without any condemnation.

The deeper work of the Cross is offering a believer a new life filled with the character of Jesus. This is happens by making a decision to live for Jesus and to die to self. The gift of salvation is developing a personal and endearing relationship with Jesus. The goal of a believer is to seek the perfect will of Jesus for his life.

The believer hears the voice of Jesus and lives in His presence. This is accomplished by the Holy Spirit who is sealed in all believers. He is the life of Jesus and the portal to His powerful attributes. Jesus fills a believer with strength, wisdom, joy and protection. He does for you what you can never do for yourself.

Please reach out to me with any questions or to share your contributions about resting in Jesus. I am also available to pray for you. Commit your works each day to Jesus and yield to the Holy Spirit and you will discover His limitless rest.
