The repercussions of Christ!

Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

You cannot avoid the repercussions of Christ whether you are a believer or not. Jesus operates with the principles of discipline and judgment in dealing with humans about sin. He is not looking for perfection but a willing heart to change.

If you are not a believer, there comes a point where God will no longer seek you out after numerous attempts to get your attention. He will not contest with your rebellion and darkness. You will be alone and have to take what God sends your way. The door is always open but you must come to God.

The Christ follower falls into a different category. The decision for Christ sets you on a course of conviction and the judgment of God.

The biggest challenge is recognizing you can never come close to the standards of God and you have a deep reservoir of darkness inside you. If you think you have a clean moral compass you are living in delusion.

The Christ follower is always under the microscope of God and is instructed to turn away from darkness and walk in the light.

God delights with those who have a contrite heart and openness to change.

The repercussions of Christ also come in the form of trials and calamities. These cannot be avoided and tend to be more extreme for those who are serious about Jesus.

God engineers trials to teach you patience, strengthen your faith and to help you learn the importance of resting in Jesus.

The judgments of God also create repercussions affecting all human beings. God is very angry today over those nations who have rejected His teachings, promote darkness through new laws and leaders with callous hearts. He is unleashing furious judgments in the form of economic woes, famine, wars, and natural calamities. No one is immune of these actions.

The Cross is the solution to dealing with the repercussions of Christ. The blood of Christ cleanses you of all sin. You can stand blameless before God without shame or condemnation. The death and resurrection of Christ gives you a new identity and begins your transformation into the character of Jesus.

Jesus gives you the gift of the Holy Spirit. He is the life of Christ and is sealed inside all believers. The Spirit will give you liberty from sin and protection against the severe repercussions of God.

Now is the time to turn to Christ. There is no hope for you in the world! Jesus died to give you a life you can never achieve on your own!

Is Jesus worth your time?

Self sufficiency is the method employed by many people to get what they want. If you can get everything to have a happy and carefree life why do you need God?

What can Jesus add to your life that you can get from no other source?

Jesus is a living reality. He offers the gift of salvation and the ability to live with Him forever.

Jesus is omniscient and sees into the past and future. He can give you wisdom that will protect you and keep you away from dangers.

Jesus is a personal and embracing God who wants a symbiotic relationship with you. Jesus wants to speak to you, teach you His values and be present in every moment of your life.

Jesus offers you supernatural strength, wisdom, joy and protection which you cannot find in the world. These unlimited attributes come directly from heaven.

Jesus seals believers with the Holy Spirit who is the life of Christ. This is the only way you can get rid of bad habits or compulsive behaviors. He transforms you into a new identity filled with the character of God.

Jesus forgives all your sins with His blood. You can stand blameless before Him without shame or condemnation.

Jesus gives you a new life built on the work of the Cross. You become born again of the Spirit and Water.

Jesus has power and dominion over the heavens and earth. There is no one like Him. He wants to bring quality to every aspect of your life.

Jesus provides believers with unspeakable joy that can never be found in the world and has nothing to do with your circumstances.

Jesus has a multitude of heavenly angels. He dispenses these powerful spiritual beings to protect you from evil.

Jesus delivers His people. When calamities come into your life He promises to deliver and restore believers.

Jesus is a healing God. He heals people all over the world by faith and through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus is unconditional love. He knew you before you were born.

Jesus is omnipotent and nothing is impossible for Him. Draw near to Jesus and He will demonstrate His transfigured power and glory in your presence.

Jesus is not asking you to become a religious robot. He does not desire for His people to live under laws and rituals or attempt to appease Him through works. He hates religion.

The world can never deliver the promises of Jesus. You may encounter some success but you are on a downward trend headed to nowhere good.

The world is not of God. It is built on employing self centered measures to achieve your goals. And, the world doesn’t care about you. Jesus died for you!

Your independence and control will squeeze Jesus out of the picture?

Every human being is born with a unique personality and a human nature to live for self.

God created your individuality as a stepping stone for receiving a new life with Jesus. If you remain in your human nature from birth you will never be one with God. This nature will always live to satisfy self.

The purpose of God is to take away your independence and natural disposition to operate without God. Jesus wants to draw you into a personal and symbiotic relationship with Him. There is no room to be independent or function without God in the gift of salvation.

God designed your personality and human nature for Himself. If you live through your natural life God gets pushed out of the picture. And, you will eventually face destruction and death.

Individuality prevents the growth of spiritual life and creates unbelief in God. Jesus wants all of you and has no interest in being a part time God.

If you are making decisions on your own this is a sign that Jesus is not important in your life.

You must give up the right to yourself and let go of your self centered thinking patterns. Abandonment to God is an internal decision to let God have control of your life.

Christians refuse to surrender to Jesus because they are afraid of losing the things of the world. Human beings want security not God. This is why Jesus told the people following Him after the feeding of the five thousand that they didn’t want Jesus. They wanted the food provided by Him.

The most important precept from God is to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and then all the other things will be added to your life. This precept will never change and governs how Jesus distributes His goodness.

Come to Jesus and hold nothing back. Walk by faith with Him under the authority of the Holy Spirit. The priority of Jesus is not about keeping laws or doing works. Jesus wants a personal and symbiotic relationship built on faith and obedience to His voice.

Letting go and giving Jesus control of your life will be the best decision you will ever make!

Is Jesus really in charge of your life?

The subject of salvation has many misconceptions and falsehoods in the Christian world.

The beginning of understanding is you were created for God and not for your beliefs, desires or worldly affinities. Salvation is not about taking from God; it is a heart attitude to serve God.

God created you for His purposes not yours. The creative purpose of God is to love Him above all else and to love others unselfishly. Your prejudices and dislikes have to die on the Cross.

The love for Christ requires strict obedience and loyalty to Him. Nothing can stand in the way of your relationship with Jesus.

Salvation is an agreement to be a servant of God operating with His values and bringing glory to His name.

The servant is not above His Master. The Christ follower must seek the will of God every day of His life and comply with the requests of God without hesitation or doubt.

God is at work building His character in you at all times and the demands of God are always changing. As you become more spiritually mature the requests of God will be more extreme. So you must keep your heart and soul open to new challenges from God.

Jesus is asking for you to be morally upright and think through His mind. He will go to radical measures to correct your amoral or self serving motives.

Walking with Jesus is a symbiotic relationship built on faith and yielding to the Holy Spirit. Jesus wants to give you more than you ask or think but He is looking for a believer who has laid down His life for Him!

There is no self in serving God!

The aftermath of Christ dying on the Cross!

The Cross was a decisive and final action. The pathway to God was narrowed solely to Jesus.

The word aftermath came to me this morning from the Holy Spirit referring to the repercussions of the Cross.

The Cross demonstrated the unconditional love of God. Jesus gave us a sacrificial gift we do not deserve or can ever earn.

This was a very cruel event. Jesus is perfect and without sin. He experienced a horrible death on the Cross for all the ugly sins of humanity.

We learn from the text in the Bible Jesus was obedient to His Father and willing to give up His life so all believers could be restored to God and live with Jesus forever.

The Cross was a referendum of God breaking all the laws and rituals established from the past.

God desired for His people to be free to worship Jesus in Spirit and Truth.

God foreknew that no one could keep the precepts of God. He designed a salvation plan through Jesus, His only Son. The blood of Jesus forgives all sin and gives a believer the privilege to stand blameless before God. And, death has no power over a Christ follower. You live with Jesus forever.

The problem of sin did not go away with the Cross. All humanity is born with an inner nature to live for self and defy God.

God dealt with the quandary of sin through the gift of salvation. The decision for Christ seals you with the Holy Spirit. He is the life of Christ. The redemption offered through Christ transforms you into the character of God. You develop a new identity in Christ. But this is not enough! All humans operate with a free will so you have to make a choice for God or to satisfy your own desires every moment of your life.

If you live under the authority of the Holy Spirit he will keep you away from sin. You will not be perfect but you can live a life pleasing to God.

God created a powerful method to deal with sin. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ will set you free from the law of sin and death.

Walk with Jesus yielding to the Holy Spirit and you will be free from the bondage of sin.

The Cross causes all believers to be baptized into the death and resurrected life of Christ. You die to self and live for God. The Holy Spirit fills you with the resurrected life of Jesus. He gives you supernatural strength, wisdom, and protection.

The miracles of Jesus that took place two thousand years ago are alive today and can be experienced by every believer.

The challenge is dealing with the darts of Satan. He wants to steal, kill and destroy. He is right now looking for a weakness in your moral compass.

The Christ follower has to face this spiritual warfare everyday of His life. Pray the blood of Christ over you and declare the promises of God like “No weapon formed against me shall prosper.” Put on the armor of God and stand firm against Satan.

The Cross destroyed religion but most human beings desire to interact with God through works and laws. This is less upsetting to your life but you will never meet the Living Christ.

Christianity is filled with religion while God states “My priority is for all believers to have a personal and enriching relationship with the Living Christ.” Jesus wants you to hear His voice, know Him personally and live in obedience to His instructions.

Jesus is the way, the truth and the life!

A personal invitation from Jesus!

I am Christ the Lord. I am a God of greatness and glory. Seek Me out and I will appear in your life. I am a very personal and loving God. I desire to be visible and real in your life.

There is no one like Me. You can spend your life chasing worldly prosperity but it will never satisfy you or provide sustaining joy and peace. The world is fraught with evil but My standards are righteousness and justice.

Come to Me. There is no striving or worry in My rest. I will supply your every need according to My unlimited riches. Ask and you shall receive.

My goodness is not dependent on your efforts. I will pour out My blessings on you through your unyielding faith in My promises and seeking My will for your life above all else.

I died on the Cross for you. Confess your sins to Me and turn away from darkness. This will give you the privilege to stand blameless before Me.

You cannot see Me but I am omniscient. I see everything in your past, present and future. It is impossible to hide anything from Me.

If you surrender your life to Me I will baptize you into My death and resurrected life by the Holy Spirit and fire.

The secret to walking with Me is to commit your works to Me each day and live under the authority of the Holy Spirit.

This will bring My reality into every moment of your life. You will hear My voice and I will give you supernatural wisdom, protection and guide your footsteps.

You will learn My ways through the ordinary and dull details of life. This where I will teach you My values and convict you of impure motives.

I have power and dominion over all things in heaven and earth but I want you to focus on getting to know Me.

This reality will come through prayer, reading the Bible and listening to Me.

Don’t look for Me in religion. I am against laws, doing works to appease Me or wasting your time in religion.

I will create trials and calamities in your life. They are designed to strengthen your faith and teach you obedience to Me. I will protect you, strengthen you, and deliver you. I am a God of victory and I keep my promises.

Your life on earth is superficial and filled with evil influences. You cannot escape your inner self which defies My truths and desires to live for self. Every moment of the day you have to make a choice to live through the Spirit or your flesh.

My gift of salvation will give you a new identity and transform you into My character.

Come to Me and I will give you a life you can never achieve on your own.

Nothing can ever upset Jesus!

You can be as eternally secure as Jesus. This will happen when you come into personal contact with the Living Christ and learn to walk with Him yielding to the Holy Spirit who dwells in all believers.

I am the Lord, and there is no other;
There is no God besides Me.

I will gird (brace) you, though you have not known Me, that they may know from the rising of the sun to its setting that there is none besides Me.

I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity; I, the Lord, do all these things.

We look upon on our challenges as human beings living in the world with a limited view of Jesus.

We forget that calamities are created by God and are designed to draw you closer to Jesus. They are not a big deal to Jesus.

Jesus does not worry about anything. He owns the heavens and earth. He tells believers to ask and you shall receive. Jesus sees the big picture. The priority of Jesus is to save souls, destroy sin and crush the evil efforts of Satan.

The decision for Christ causes you to lose ownership of your life. Your life now belongs to God and He can do with you as He pleases.

The Christ follower must be anchored in unwavering faith in Jesus. Without faith you cannot please God.

As a believer you must trust the promises of God and not what you see with your eyes.

Never build your faith on experiences as this will create an up and down relationship with Jesus.

Trust God’s redemptive power to create His life in your soul. The purpose of salvation is to transform you into the character of Jesus.

The Christ follower must live under the authority of the Holy Spirit and be in contact with the voice of God.

Prayer is essential to a healthy relationship with Jesus.

Read the Bible everyday and ask God to help you live out His values.

Commit your works each day to God and pray for a heart of wisdom.

Have an open heart to the conviction of the Holy Spirit. Your sin never goes away.

God uses His people to bring down the strongholds of Satan. Be open to prayer and intercession through the Holy Spirit.

Jesus wants your obedience and loyalty to Him. Respond to His voice with compliance. Do not question His logic or the personal cost to you. He is God.

The algorithms of Christ!

Algorithm, a step-by-step procedure for solving a problem or accomplishing some end.

The Holy Spirit spoke the word algorithm to me today. This originally referred to solving computer issues but can be applied to all kinds of problems.

We all live with burdens. Some are orchestrated by God. Many happen because we have made mistakes in the past. And, Satan is at work to steal, kill and destroy.

The solution is turning to Jesus. When my heart is overwhelmed lead me to the rock that is higher than I!

How does Jesus apply algorithms to solving a burden in your life?

God is holy. If you have darkness in your life the response from Jesus for help will probably be lukewarm. You have to be right with God. Pray the blood of Christ over your life and ask Jesus to convict you of any darkness standing in the way of your relationship with Him.

Forgiveness is very important in dealing with the burdens of life. Ask God to forgive you for anything you might have done to contribute to this burden. You also might have to seek forgiveness for your feelings and actions reacting to this burden.

This biblical principle in Psalm 55:22 is alive and powerful in dealing with a burden. This will work for any believer. Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you. He will never permit the righteous to be shaken. This literally means giving the burden to God and letting go emotionally. You will feel immediate peace and freedom knowing this is now in God’s hands.

Pray for the wisdom of God in dealing with your burden. Listen carefully for the voice of God. Rest in Him.

Have unyielding faith in Jesus. He delivers His people.

Ask God to send angels to protect you.

Seek the counsel and prayers of spiritually mature believers.

Wait on God with faith and patience. Do not strive looking for a solution. It is not by might nor by power but by My Spirit.

Read the Word of God. Here are two excerpts from the Bible showing the power of God at work to rescue His people.

Escape from prison

Then the high priest rose up, and all those who were with him and they were filled with indignation, and laid their hands on the apostles and put them in the common prison. But at night an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors and brought them out, and said, “Go, stand in the temple and speak to the people all the words of this life.”

Saved from the fiery furnace

“Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

Praise God with your words and sing to the Lord. Jesus covets the praises of His people.

Jesus keeps His promises. Nothing is impossible for Him!

Discovering Jesus in real life!

Jesus does not hide from a human being. He wants a personal and real life encounter.

Jesus must be discovered with empirical evidence verifying who He is and why He is essential to a human being.

The scholarly approach will not create a conscious need for Jesus. If anything it will lead an individual to religion.

Jesus redeems you from your natural life and you become a citizen of heaven entitled to all the promises of God.

Redemption creates the life of God in believers and transforms you into a new identity.

The redemption offered by Christ must be initiated by a human being. This requires making a decision by faith to live for Jesus above all else. This decision will baptize you into the death and resurrected life of Jesus.

How do you find empirical evidence? The answer is “Ask and you shall receive”? Jesus will not respond unless you reach out to Him? And, be sure to ask by faith.

Jesus will present empirical evidence through many different methods. Jesus will speak directly to you. He will give you dreams and visions testifying to His authenticity. Jesus will appear in person through the Holy Spirit. Jesus will send an angel to speak to you and verify Christ.

The reality of Jesus will create a conscious need for Jesus and an overwhelming desire for the gift of salvation. There will be no doubt about the authenticity of Jesus.

This decision will seal you with the Holy Spirit. He is the life of Jesus and gives you the ability to walk in oneness with Him.

Jesus will live in every moment of your life and bless the desires of your heart.

Come meet the Living Christ!

I am Christ the Lord. Come meet Me and I will be your God and best friend!

The Holy Spirit told me to introduce you to the personality and character of the Living Christ. This is not the portrait taught by religion but the reality of Jesus.

Jesus is alive at this very moment and He wants to have a personal and all consuming relationship with you. He cares deeply about you and wants to enhance the quality of every aspect of your life.

Jesus has a personality and range of emotions just like you. He lived on the earth and faced all the same emotions and challenges you deal with every day.

Jesus knows you better than you know yourself. He is omniscient and knows every detail of your life. He hears your every thought and sees all of your future.

Jesus is very jealous and His jealousy is like a consuming fire. He wants all of you and will not share you with other gods or idols.

Jesus desires to talk to you and share His values with you.

Jesus wants you to walk in oneness with Him by faith through all the moments of your life.

The priority of Jesus is to transform you in His character. He does this through the work of the Cross.

Jesus is perfect and operates without an ego. We all have an inner nature to live for self and defy God.

The transformation into a new creature takes place through the Holy Spirit. He is the life of Christ and lives in all believers.

The Holy Spirit baptizes you into the death and resurrected life of Jesus. He gives you a new life built on the character of God.

The work of the Cross will cause suffering and pain at times because it is difficult to let go completely and sever your ties to the world.

Jesus is not looking for perfection. You can never match up to His standards. He is looking for a willing heart.

Jesus covers all your sins with His blood and leads you to into repentance for your many imperfections. Jesus makes you look in the mirror every day and see who you are.

Jesus fills you with His strength, wisdom, joy and protection. These attributes come from Heaven and are unlimited.

Jesus asks you to pray, read the Bible and listen for His voice.

Jesus died to crush religion and laws. He is not a work performance God.

Jesus wants you to seek His will for your life and walk by faith. Reach out to Jesus for your every need.

Jesus wants your obedience to His instructions regardless of the logic or cost.

Jesus desires for you to be a powerful light for Him operating as a new creature in Christ Jesus.

Jesus does not want you to strive but to learn to rest in Him. Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.

Jesus is a down to earth God who wants a symbiotic and eternal relationship with you built on His unconditional love.
