Vicarious living through Jesus!

You can trust Me implicitly. I keep My promises!

The word from the Holy Spirit today is vacarious which means experienced in the imagination through the feelings or actions of another person.

I struggled with this asking God for clarification. The Holy Spirit told me this is about identifying with Jesus through your mind and emotions.

This is how we all can find hope, joy, and victory regardless of our circumstances.

Vicarious living is bringing the reality of the Living Christ into your heart, mind and soul.

This is not make believe; it is God giving you glimpses of who He is and the wonderful plans He has for your future.

Today you might feel distress, anxiety or fear so come to Jesus in Spirit and Truth. He will give you a refresher of His goodness and remind you He is a powerful and loving God.

Jesus knows you better than you know yourself. He is making you into His character which takes time.

Vicarious living is walking by faith believing in the promises of God and not what you see with your eyes.

Vicarious believers stand on this promise; “My God will supply your every need according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.”

The vicarious people of God believe “I can do all things through Christ who gives me the strength.”

The Christ follower is filled with vicarious faith because God keeps His word.

The vicarious mind set for today is “Nothing is impossible for Jesus!”

And this is not imagination! Jesus has power and dominion over all things.

Jesus is the glorious retreat from the ugly world we live in today!

Understanding your orientation with Jesus!

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

The words of Jesus define how you relate to Him. The analogy is to think of Jesus as the vine and the believer as the branch.

If a man abides in Jesus He promises to abide in you at all times through the efficacy of the Holy Spirit. This will allow you to bear much fruit as a powerful witness for Jesus.

Jesus reminds believers you can do nothing if you are apart from Him. It is only in demonstration of the Spirit and power that lives are changed.

The Holy Spirit wants believers to have a symbiotic relationship with God. The term symbiotic means a mutually beneficial relationship between two parties. God is speaking about a believer and Jesus.

If you want the best from Jesus you must take Him seriously!

This symbiotic relationship is created by a believer who commits his life to Christ and vigilantly seeks the will of God. You will encounter the Living Christ and your life will never be the same.

Jesus tells all believers if you attempt to keep your worldly life you will eventually lose it but if you are willing to lose your life for Jesus you will become a new creature in Christ filled with the goodness of God.

We live in a pernicious world under the influence of Satan. He is a highly injurious and destructive influence.

As a believer, we walk with Jesus by faith and submit to the authority of the Holy Spirit. Jesus promises to provide a powerful buttress of support against evil but you must be abiding in the Holy Spirit and not operating by your flesh.

The warning from Jesus is “Anyone who does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.”

He who is in Me is greater than he who is in the world!

The evolution of Christ in the life of a believer!

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

The word from God today is evolution which is defined as the gradual development of something, especially from a simple to a more complex form.

We are examining the transformation of a human being from their natural life at birth to a new creature in Christ.

This transformation begins with receiving the gift of salvation. God seals you with the the Holy Spirit who is the life of Christ. He is always at work creating new life in a believer.

The Holy Spirit works to change your thinking patterns and moral values. He changes your perspective on life from living for self to seeking the will of God.

The relationship between faith and experiences will influence your spiritual growth with Jesus. God wants you to trust His promises regardless of difficult or impossible challenges in your life. If you interact with God by experiences you will have an up and down journey filled with anger and blame for His lack of support.

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you!

The benchmark in your journey is making a decision to abandon yourself to Jesus without any exclusions and seek His will for your life. Until you reach this point you will vacillate between God and living for self.

The process of evolution into a new creature will be accelerated by coming into a personal and embracing relationship with the Living Christ. You will hear the voice of God and the Word will become alive and powerful in your life.

Walking with Jesus is experiencing many different seasons. The seasons are designed to teach you obedience, strengthen your faith when facing trials, and build fortitude (the courage of Jesus) when dealing with all kinds calamities.

The righteousness of Christ will come to you by demonstrating your faith in facing all the challenges of life. Your works or religious activities are of no value to building your faith. Without faith you cannot please God.

Jesus desires to have your unquestioning obedience and loyalty to Him. He wants to be the centerpiece of your life.

Build a strong bond with Jesus through prayer and intercession. This is life changing and touches the heart of God.

The purpose of Jesus was to be lifted up to Heaven!

And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.

Just before Jesus was crucified He explained the purpose of the Cross.

God spoke His judgment over the world. Satan was defeated and cast out from any control over death.

The standard of righteousness was established by the Cross.

God lifted Jesus up to Heaven and this act gave Jesus the ability to draw all people to Himself.

God created the gift of salvation through the Cross. This miracle allows a human being to live in oneness with Jesus on earth and then forever.

The moral law introduced by Moses was replaced by the Cross. The blood of Jesus forgives all sin and the righteousness of God comes by faith in Christ.

This miracle is for all. Just ask and you will be made into a new creature in Christ filled with the life of Jesus.

Last night the Holy Spirit told me to think of Jesus as a linchpin which is defined as a central cohesive source of support and stability.

You can have this supernatural strength the rest of your life just by reaching out to Jesus.

Jesus keeps His promises. He has power and dominion over all things.

Jesus is a perfect God!

Facing the sweeping judgments of Christ!

The Holy Spirit has been warning me for a long time about the future. We are facing the wrath of God in the form of judgments.

This is not meant to scare anyone but to help you prepare for the inevitable.

The judgments will include wars, pestilence, famine and food shortages, economic chaos, and Antichrists posing as men of God.

Why is God so angry?

We do not fear or respect God and have betrayed Him by our moral standards.

Many governments have passed new laws violating the precepts of God without any consideration of the biblical consequences.

Our society accepts or endorses the new laws and progressive liberal attitudes prevailing in the world. Sexual immorality is rampant and accepted by many as a normal path of life.

Living for self is ingrained in the heart and mind of many people.

How can we prepare for the coming tribulations?

You must be in oneness with the Living Christ. This is characterized by total abandonment to Jesus and abiding with Him under the authority of the Holy Spirit.

Pray for the faith of the patriarchs. The Christ follower must have unwavering faith regardless of the conditions in his life. He must trust God not what he sees with his eyes.

Most believers build their faith on experiences. If your faith is contingent on experiences then the calamities will upset and destroy your faith.

You must be in contact with the Living Christ and hearing His voice with consistency. This will give you confidence in God without any reliance on religion.

The Christ follower must live in prayer and intercession and make this a strong discipline in your life. Prayer is conversations with God and intercession is bringing down strongholds through the work of the Holy Spirit.

Read the Bible under the authority of the Holy Spirit. The Word is alive and powerful. The words of Jesus are life changing.

Once you are in contact with the Living Christ religion will no longer have any influence in your life.

The coming judgments are going to be brutal and will cause deep inner pain, brokenness, and anger. God will seem like He has disappeared. Believers will need to seek the blood of Christ to cover their sins and the healing power of God to stabilize their emotions and the injuries to their spirit and soul.

The Living Christ will bring a confluence of His goodness, restoration, and healing into the lives of believers in His perfect timing.

Stand firmly on the rock of Christ!

Walk with Jesus by faith anchored to the Holy Spirit.

Jesus has power and dominion over the heavens and earth. He will protect and deliver the remnant of Christ.

A powerful revival is coming!

The passion of Christ!

The priority of Christ for a believer is to give up your freedom and your rights and become a slave of Jesus Christ. This seems like a drastic and unfair request from God but it is the heart of Jesus for a believer. Very few believers will honor this calling from God. It is just too costly.

This has nothing to do with religion or works. Jesus wants all of you for His purposes. The commitment is to be obedient and loyal to Jesus regardless of what He does with you. Or, how long you live in the desert.

If you choose to surrender your life to Jesus He will fuse your personality into oneness with Him. You will hear the voice of God consistently and begin to think and act like Him. The beauty of abandoning yourself to Jesus is living in His presence at all times.

Walking with Jesus is painful at times and requires cutting ties with the world. You will suffer like Jesus and feel the agony of being crucified along side of Him.

The surgical work of the Cross is designed to take away your ego and pride. You learn to serve Christ in very difficult circumstances and become isolated from the world.

The calamities come and it seems like God doesn’t care about you. Life becomes precipitous with no way out.

Many times Jesus will shut you down. The visions and revelations will disappear and Jesus seems very distant.

What is the purpose of all this pain and suffering? Somehow God will use you to further His Kingdom and bring glory to the name of Jesus.

It makes no sense now but some day you will see Jesus for who He is, the Creator of the Heaven and Earth. He is from everlasting to everlasting!

Is Jesus crying over you?

“Now as He drew near, He saw the city and wept over it”

Jesus was entering Jerusalem on His way to face an agonizing death. He looked at the city and wept. Jesus wept because Jerusalem would be destroyed and many would die.

The Israelites did not understand what would bring the peace and protection of God. They were just looking for a king.

The truths of God were hidden from their eyes. They did not repent from intransigence which is the act of refusing or denying the views of God.

They were blinded by a genetic disposition of rebellion against God and a desire to live for self.

You and I have to face our intransigence every day of our life. We were born with an inner nature to defy God and live for self. This condition will never completely leave us while on earth.

If anyone is a new creature in Christ Jesus old things pass away and all things become new. This doesn’t just happen by God and we get a free ride.

We have to dwell in the presence of the Living Christ and seek His will for our life.

Jesus desires to change your thinking patterns, beliefs and motives which are in conflict with His values. He wants to refine you into His character.

Your responsibility is to live under the authority of the Holy Spirit who resides inside you. This requires you to pray, read the Bible, and listen for the voice of God.

As people of God, we have to be open to the conviction and correction of the Holy Spirit. Your relationship with Jesus is defined by sin.

The sanctification of a believer is a relentless work of God. Jesus sees everything in your life and observes all your thoughts and words. He measures your faith in dealing with all the challenges of life.

Jesus is not looking for perfection; He is looking for your openness to change and to let go of worldly living.

Jesus takes your life seriously!

The Living Christ, the only one who can give you a victory!

Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.

Sometimes in the midst of calamities we forget Jesus promises to lead believers to a victory.

Jesus exercises His resurrected power which can move mountains and shake the earth to lead you in triumph over the evils of the world.

Nothing is impossible for Jesus. He is a God who delivers His people.

Jesus keeps His Word. And, He never changes.

Your unwavering faith in Christ will bring you the victory. Jesus always leads the way. He goes before you in all His plans for your future.

Jesus does not function on a human clock. He thinks and acts in the perfect timing of a Living God who is from everlasting to everlasting.

Jesus always delivers a victory with a spiritual purpose to release a fragrance of His knowledge in every place of your life.

The victory is not your own. Jesus created the victory for the higher purpose to bring glory to His name.

Staying in the moment with the exemplary Christ Jesus!

We live in the world but we do not belong to the world!

You cannot split your time between the world and God. Jesus has to be integrated into every moment of your life. Timeouts with God will bring trouble.

Jesus is the same today as He was three thousand years ago. He is alive and lives in all believers. He wants to be present in your life at all times.

The prayer time in the morning with God should prepare you for all the challenges during the day.

When you move on after spending time with Jesus you are not ending your fellowship with God.

The thread of Jesus must continue in your thoughts and actions over the course of the day.

To avoid lapses with God pray in the free moments of your day.

Jesus lives in you through the Holy Spirit. He is your resource for wisdom and protection. He never shuts down.

Jesus desires to give you a quality life and help you make good decisions. He wants to work through your mind with His thoughts in both the big and routine decisions you face during the course of your day.

This will happen when you invite the Holy Spirit to have authority over your life. This is acknowledging you respect God and want to walk in His footsteps. Remember, God wants to bless your life and keep you away from evil.

The world is under the authority of Satan. He wants to create chaos in the life of a believer. Your roots have to be in God through prayer, reading the Bible, and listening for His voice.

Jesus is alive and never changes. The stories in the Bible are not history. They are taking place today.

The Christ follower can experience the signs and wonders of our great God. Walk by faith and live in oneness with Jesus.

The relevance of Christ!

Intransigence is the reason unbelievers reject Christ. They are not willing or refusing to change their views.

The subject today is the relevance of Christ. Does Jesus have significant and demonstrable influence in your life?

Jesus can be a fantasy, just a name in your life on Sunday or the most important figure in your life.

Jesus is not relevant for many because He asks you to give up your independence and control. And, you must cut your ties to the world.

Jesus wants all of you. He does not want to share you with other gods or idols. This is a stumbling block for many human beings.

Jesus desires a personal, all encompassing relationship with a believer. He knows you better than you know yourself.

What makes Jesus relevant to a human being?

You must meet the Living Christ. Religion will just turn most people off.

The revelation is discovering Jesus is alive and has power and dominion over the heavens and earth.

The Living Christ desires to be a strong presence in your life. You interact with Jesus through the Holy Spirit who lives in all believers. He is the life of Christ.

Come to Jesus by faith and make a commitment to live for Him above all else.

Jesus wants to be the center of your thoughts and alive in all the moments of your life.

Jesus desires to speak to believers and have an ongoing dialogue with you.

You can talk with Jesus as easy and naturally as talking to a close friend. He is always there for you.

The world will eventually destroy you but Jesus will give you an abundant life filled with His goodness. Jesus protects His people.

The gift of salvation has nothing to do with time. It is a method of living in oneness with Jesus and integrating Jesus into your personality and thinking patterns.

Maybe you need forensic evidence to dispel unbelief and prove the authenticity of Jesus.

Just ask Jesus to show you His greatness and glory. There will never be doubt again!
