Getting started with Jesus!

The word from God today is love begets love. Reach out to Jesus and He will respond with unconditional and sacrificial love for you. The love of God is unlike anything in the world.

The relationship with God starts with a voluntary decision to reach out to God. You have to ask to receive. The initiative is on you.

The gift of salvation creates a conscious need for the life of God. There is an awakening in your soul.

The gift of salvation creates the life of Jesus within you through the work of the Holy Spirit. You develop a need to be in relationship with God.

The salvation of God reorders you life and takes away old things and adds new things.

The gift of salvation create a new way of living and obtaining things. God calls things that don’t exist as if they did. He does this by your faith in His promises.

The salvation of God in a human being is the transformation into a new creature in Christ Jesus with a moral compass built on the values of Jesus.

The gift of salvation is a calling from God to live with Him in prayer, praise, and to listen for His voice. Read the Bible under the auspices of the Holy Spirit. Jesus will no longer live on the pages of a Bible. He will be a Living Reality in your life.

God desires to give you a new beginning but you must ask and then Jesus will do awesome things.

How does God get your attention?

Then the Lord said to me, “Do not pray for this people, for their good. When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and grain offering, I will not accept them. But I will consume them by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.” Jeremiah 14:11-12

The word from God today is “The end justifies the means.”

This statement explains a desired result is so good or important that any method may be used to achieve it.

The desired result (or end) with God is at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth. And, God will make this become a reality by executing His judgments over the world.

Christianity paints a false picture of God. The leaders cover up the means of retribution used by God to get your attention. This sounds radical but God never changes.

The dialogue between Jeremiah and God demonstrates the mind of God about sin. God doesn’t just dismiss sin; He executes judgment and no one can change His mind.

God decided the Israelites would pay dearly for their sins. They turned away from God and pursued other idols.

They did not listen to the voice of God or attempt to obey His instructions.

They did not take God seriously.

Today the judgment of God is over our country and many other nations for the same reasons.

We do not fear or respect God.

We make reckless decisions that defy the ways of God.

We have besmirched the heart of God and He is at work to make us pay for our grievous sins.

God is coming with terrifying power and the fires of judgment to declare to the world I am the Living Christ.

I am the eternal living God. There is no one like Me!

Fellowship with Christ!

“And to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ” Ephesians 3:9

In the middle of last night God spoke this Bible verse and asked me to teach about fellowship with Jesus without the shackles of religion.

The concept of fellowship with God was a mystery for many ages until God revealed His plan of redemption.

God did His work of creation through Jesus, the Son of God. They are one from the beginning of time. If you want God you have to come through Jesus.

Fellowship with Jesus begins with making a decision from the heart to live for Him above else.

Jesus reveals His unsearchable riches to believers who live in oneness with Him. The riches cannot be found through your human intellect. They come from heaven to those who worship Jesus in Spirit and Truth.

Jesus does not hide from a believer who enters into fellowship with Him. He becomes alive and upfront in your life.

Jesus is mysterious because He does not think or act like you.

Fellowship with Jesus is about prayer seeking His will, praising Jesus for who He is and learning to be still and listen for His voice.

Jesus operates through His words which never change so you must read the Bible under the auspices of the Holy Spirit to understand and live by His values.

Fellowship is entering into the suffering of Christ. You will die to self and lose the rights to yourself.

The reality of Jesus will come to those who live under the authority of the Holy Spirit. Jesus reveals His unsearchable riches through the Holy Spirit who is the life of Christ and dwells in all believers.

Jesus is a holy and will not become contaminated by your sin.

Your sin is a barrier to fellowship with Jesus. You must come before Jesus confessing your sin and asking Him to cover you with His blood. This is a lifelong responsibility and requires an open heart to conviction and correction.

We all compromise the scruples of Christ. It is very difficult to be a doer of the Word because Jesus is the antithesis of the human spirit.

Jesus desires for you to walk with Him by faith believing in His promises and not by what you see with your eyes. Without faith you cannot please God. Faith is a lifestyle of trusting God for your every need. Faith has to be lived out in both the ups and downs of life.

Fellowship begins with learning who Jesus is and living with Him by faith. The works of Jesus will come out of your obedience to His voice.

Judging right and wrong from the perspective of Jesus!

We are imperfect people living in an imperfect world. Who gives you the right to judge!

“Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each one’s praise will come from God.” 1 Corinthians 4:5

God judges all things according to His standards of truth and justice.

He has the ability to see into the heart of a human being. He looks at your upbringing, motives influencing your decision making, wreckage from the past and emotional scars in your inner being. He also looks at your hidden sins and the source of all your thoughts.

You and I lack the ability to judge another person. We see the surface; God sees the depth. As believers, we can only confront darkness, offer the counsel of God and pray vigilantly.

When a Christ follower gets in touch with his tainted inner nature he will never boast about himself. He sees a glimpse of what God sees and the picture is pretty ugly.

The Christ follower praises God for all the successes in his life and gives all the glory to God never to himself.

The longer you walk with God the deeper the revelation you can never come close to the purity of God. You are a lost soul except for the love and redemption of God.

This epiphany creates love, respect, humility and praise to Jesus, the King of Kings.

The world is full of evil. Satan is at work to remove the influence of Christ and to steal, kill, and destroy the people of God.

We can act with the weapons provided by God to bring down strongholds and defeat the tactics of Satan.

We execute judgement through prayer and intercession. We speak the powerful words of Jesus in disarming Satan.

Take advantage of the precious gift God has given you. He who is in me is greater than he who is in the world.

Draw upon the power of the Holy Spirit to change lives and leave the judging up to God.

How to answer the call from God?

“As the deer pants (or longs for) the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.” Psalm 42:1-2

You may not be aware of this but God is calling you at this very moment. God created you and He wants to live with you forever.

The calling from God is a deep yearning to come into fellowship with Jesus, the son of God. Your soul is actually thirsting for God.

This calling is never ending whether you are a believer or a nonbeliever.

The calling of God has nothing to do with religion, abiding in laws or performing works for God.

The calling is to come into a personal and embracing relationship with Jesus. He wants you to know Him and become close friends.

The calling is to walk by faith believing in the promises of God.

The calling is to live with God under the authority of the Holy Spirit.

The calling is to come into intimate fellowship with God. The Christ follower dwells with God in prayer, praises God for who He is and listens for His voice. He meditates on the Word of God and lives by the values of Jesus.

The calling is to live in obedience to God regardless of His instructions which may not make any sense to you.

The calling is to accept Jesus for who He is and give Him permission to do with you as He pleases. Your priority is to seek the will of God above all else.

The calling is to become a powerful vessel of God filled with the Holy Spirit touching those around you with the Living Water.

Face to face with the Living Christ!

Draw near to Me and I will draw near to you. I know you better than you know yourself and desire to give you an abundant life that you can never achieve on your own. I am a Living God and there is no one like Me!

Jesus wants to enter into your life today. He wants to be a powerful influence in every situation you are facing today.

This is about the actuality of God in the life of a believer. Jesus wants to give you strength, wisdom, joy and supernatural protection. He wants to be your best friend. Nothing is impossible for Jesus.

The goal is to understand the reality of God and be willing to participate in the death and resurrection of Christ.

The journey with God is a living experience walking in the footsteps of Jesus.

The priority is to know God and walk in oneness with Him.

You have to personally interact with the Living Christ.

Most believers develop a relationship with God built on knowledge. They focus on the subject not the person.

They are taught to be religiously motivated rather than to seek a personal and intimate relationship with God.

The only way you can understand the deep revelations of Christ Jesus is through personal experience.

If you attempt to pursue Jesus through an intellectual approach you will never know Him. Jesus will only live on the pages of a Bible.

The truths of God are not legal statements and they will never make sense to you until you encounter the Living Christ.

The Christ follower wakes up each day to have a face to face meeting with God. He comes to hear the voice of God and seek the will of Jesus for his life.

He encounters Jesus with a passion to learn His value system and is open to the conviction and correction of the Holy Spirit.

Invite Jesus to be a living reality in your life and come live under the authority of the Holy Spirit.

The revelation of Christ in a believer!

The word from God today is the deep speaks to the deep. God is impressing upon me to teach about this deep spiritual truth. It is of upmost importance in His mind. I have learned over many years how to live by this biblical principle and this revelation has radically changed my life.

The gift of salvation is the beginning of a relationship with God.

This is a deep calling from God. Jesus seals His nature into your heart, mind and soul. The calling is between the Holy Spirit residing in a believer and the nature of God. The deep speaks to the deep.

This is often misinterpreted as a calling to do works for God but the purpose of salvation is to identify internally with the nature of God and live in oneness with Him. The works or service are an outcome of this deep and intimate relationship with God.

The vocation of the spiritual man or woman is to be a fountain of Living Water touching those around you. You work for God in the ordinary tasks of life.

Salvation is giving up your life for the life of Christ. You belong to God and He can do with you as He pleases. This is where believers run into trouble. They cannot accept the reality of the “born again” experience. Walking with God is a microcosm of the life of Jesus and you lose your rights and independence.

The deep calling is to live by faith and be obedient to the voice of God.

You trust the promises of God and not what you see with your eyes. This is contrary to all human logic and very difficult for most to accept. We are self driven people looking for results. God has no ego and is retraining you to think and act in His ways.

God wants your obedience to His voice regardless of the cost or sacrifice. This is a stumbling block for most believers.

The voice of God is controversial, unpredictable and can be very radical. Your obedience to God can be upsetting, uncomfortable and seem like a road leading to disaster. Expect the unexpected with God!

All this seems like it just isn’t worth the price. The reward is you live with God forever and inherit all His promises!

Let Jesus fight your battles!

“For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:30

The word from God today is about transitioning from the natural life to the life of Jesus.

Living in the world is weary and burdensome. Your natural resources are limited and have a short life span. You burn out quickly.

God designed you in His image and He wants you to function through His life not your natural life.

At times, we all become defeated by the evil ways of the world and fall into a state of weakness and depression dealing with the calamities of the world.

The fiery trials of life are unavoidable for a Christ follower but God has given us a supernatural method to be an overcomer.

The yoke of Jesus provides rest, makes life easier, and lightens the burden. This happens to all those who are operating through the life of Jesus.

He who is in me is greater than he who is in the world!

The Holy Spirit is sealed inside you. He is the yoke of Jesus and desires to do for you what you cannot do for yourself.

The yoke of Jesus gives a believer a supernatural resiliency to bounce back from devastating circumstances.

The strength of God is made perfect in your weakness. In times of adversity learn to rest in God and draw upon His resiliency.

Jesus is gentle and humble. This character of God can be alive in a believer during times of adversity. You become an overcomer with the meekness of God.

The yoke of Jesus is how a believer can overcome any challenge in life. It is simply transitioning from self sufficiency to the life of Jesus.

Jesus keeps His promises and the pathway leading to victory comes through the yoke of Christ.

It is not by strength nor by power but by the Spirit of God!

Hearing the visceral voice of Christ!

“For, who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.” 1 Corinthians 2:16

The word from God today is visceral referring to the voice of God. God speaks from the depth of His heart into your spiritual being. He instructs believers in the things of God. We never instruct God; we learn from Him.

The voice of God speaks to His inner nature living within believers. The deep speaks to the deep. The voice of God is instinctive and cannot be grasped by the natural mind.

You can hear the voice of God today. He does not hide His voice from you.

God speaks His words into your thoughts. If you want to hear the voice of God you have to reach out to Him in prayer and adoration and learn to be still in His presence.

God desires for you to inquire of Him for wisdom in all your actions and decision making. This is why we submit to God. He deciphers the unknown. God changes ashes into beauty.

Jesus shares His heavenly attributes of strength, wisdom, joy and protection with His people. These attributes are supernatural and cannot be found on the earth. The value of God is He can do for you what you can never do for yourself.

God is powerful and omniscient. He knows every detail of your future so why take chances operating with self effort when you can have the power and protection of almighty God going before you.

The Lord wants to be your Keeper and preserve your going out and your coming in. You cannot be your own keeper because of all the unforeseen circumstances that take place in your life. And, you do not have the ability to see ahead.

God has given you the mind of Christ. He desires to speak spiritual truths comparing to your spiritual walk with God.

Have a conversation with God today. He has life changing words to speak to you!

Spinning your wheels or getting traction with God!

The word from the Holy Spirit today is understanding the action of God begins inside you!

There is this compulsion in Christianity for all to seek the will of God but they miss the definition established by Jesus concerning how to do the will of God.

The will of God is dying to self and living for Jesus. This is coming into oneness with God regardless of the cost or sacrifice.

You have to surrender to God and give Him permission to make you into a new creature in Christ Jesus. Your freedom and desires have to take a back seat to Jesus.

You cannot do the works of God until self dies and God enters onto the center stage. And, this won’t look like anything you might imagine about the purposes of God.

It is impossible to find the will of God in your external life until this inner transaction with God takes place.

You are just spinning your wheels and satisfying yourself not the heart of God.

God uses believers for His purposes not what you think is worthy.

God does not think or act like a human being so until you are obedient to Him without an agenda it is impossible to do His will.

“Not my will but Yours be done” has to be engraved in your heart, mind and soul. Then you are living for God and can do the works of Jesus.

Self has to die to become a powerful vessel for God. This is not an intellectual concept; you have to be transformed into a new creature.

Come to Jesus every day willing to change! This will make Him smile!
