The persona of Christ Jesus!

God has spoken to me about the importance of the persona of Christ Jesus.

The definition of persona is the aspect of someone’s character that is presented to or perceived by others. This is the Living Water, the life of Jesus. And, this persona is available to all without prejudice.

The persona is what draws people to Jesus. People are attracted to the Living Christ not the hypocrisy of religion.

Jesus is not an intellectual concept. He is not a distant God. Jesus is a living reality who wants to give you an abundant life. He is a life changing God.

Jesus speaks very simply. Walk by faith believing in My promises anchored to the Holy Spirit.

Come live with Me. I can do for you what you can never do for yourself.

The defining nature of God:

Jesus is loving and compassionate expressed by His sacrificial death giving you the gift of salvation. He lives in you in the essence of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus does miracles and performs signs and wonders for the people of Christ.

Jesus teaches the oracles of God.

Jesus is perfect and without sin.

Jesus has power and dominion over the heavens and earth.

Jesus wants to have an embracing and vibrant relationship with you.

Jesus speaks to you.

Jesus is omniscient and desires to protect you and keep you away from evil.

Jesus is a healing God.

Jesus shares the grandeur of God with you.

Jesus forgives all your sins and restores you to God.

Jesus create the values of God within you.

Jesus speaks to you through dreams and visions.

Jesus is a God of intercession bringing down strongholds and setting people free. He does this through the Spirit of Christ working through you and me.

The attraction of Jesus is He dwells in all believers and wants to live in oneness with you. Jesus offers you His life without limitations.

Jesus desires to be a living reality in every moment of your life.

The evidence of Christ will come to those who make a decision to live for Him above all else.

Jesus is genuine. You can trust Him with your life!

Walking in the footsteps of Christ!

“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8:1-2

Walking with God is not easy. It requires discipline, patience, and faith.

My ways are perfect. Come to Me by faith abiding in the Spirit of Christ. He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

You have made a decision to allow God to crucify your self nature and to live for Him. This causes you to lose your identity and right to self. And, your fate is now in the hands of God.

There is pain, suffering, and conviction for those who live with God.

Walking with God has nothing to do with religion or rules. And, you cannot justify yourself to God through works.

The only way you can effectively walk with God is to be anchored to Jesus through the Holy Spirit. At this very moment you are either abiding in the Holy Spirit or living for self.

We go back and forth between the Spirit and self. If you are in the self position you cannot please God.

What causes you to move from the Spirit to self?

The conditions in your life create emotions of anger, fear, frustration, or bitterness. These feelings will cause you to make decisions not pleasing to God. As a human being you are subject to having these feelings but you must release them to God or they will destroy you.

Secondly, the lusts of the flesh will cause you to do things that grieve the Holy Spirit and distance you from the presence of God.

If you are not walking in oneness with God you will succumb to these temptations. Your self nature is too weak.

Satan is also at work to tempt you into doing evil things. He will usually entice you with the rationale “Everyone does this and God doesn’t really care.”

The discipline required to walk with Jesus is vigilant prayer, listening to the voice of Christ, and filling yourself with the word of Christ.

Begin each day with prayer committing your works to God. Ask the Lord to be a lamp unto to your feet and a light unto to your pathway.

How does the timeline of God relate to your life?

“But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” 2 Peter 3:8

God is oblivious to time. He is an eternal God and can function in the past, today or in the future.

God created your timeline before you were born.

God is omniscient and knows every detail of your life.

The timeline of God is usually not in symmetry with the timeline of believers living in the world.

I keep My promises. My timeline is to give you an abundant life filled with the goodness of God. There is no one like Me!

Some examples:

Moses tended sheep for forty years waiting for the call of God. “After forty years had passed, an angel appeared to Moses in the flames of a burning bush in the desert near Mount Sinai.”

David felt forsaken by God. “How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever?”

Israel was oppressed by Midian for seven years until God raised up Gideon to defeat Midian.

God does not tend to reveal specific timelines to believers. He wants you to walk by faith trusting in His promises. And, He usually does not allow you see very far ahead.

Believers have to walk by faith not by sight.

God will speak prophesy to you concerning how He plans to work in your life and He will make promises to you about the future. You have to accept His promises by faith and then leave this in the hands of God. As believers, we live in the present moment with God.

Believers get in trouble when they overstep the timelines established by God for your life. It is difficult to wait on the Lord when you are dealing with adversities or feel like you are wasting away many years of life but God’s plan is perfect and defies human logic.

God acts through the Spirit of Christ in His perfect timing. It is not by might nor by power but by the Spirit of God.

So when God says “I am coming soon” this might be tomorrow or forty years from now.

The coming of Christ and your response!

Last night I had a vivid dream from God.

The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous and His ears are open to your cries.

In this transfigured moment I saw the eyes of God look into a person who had a heart for God. This person had secrets kept hidden from the world. The eyes of God and this person became locked together with intensity. Finally, the person spoke “You know.”

God knows all your secrets. Nothing is hidden from God.

God has secrets which He will reveal to those close to His heart.

God also revealed in this dream the coming of a powerful and global movement of Christ touching every believer in the world. It will be earth shaking and all will witness the presence of God.

God also told me Jesus is the ligature that unites man with God. There is no other way.

In summary, you and I can do great things for God and be an integral part of this powerful revival of Christ. However, we have to live in the light of Jesus and turn away from darkness.

The calling from God is to abide in the work of the Cross and walk with Jesus anchored to the Holy Spirit.

You can experience a glimpse of this transfigured moment with God. Just draw near to Jesus with an open heart. Look into the eyes of Jesus and listen.

He knows!

Your good works do not relate to the blessings of Christ!

“Now to the one who works, wages are not credited as a gift but as an obligation. However, to the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness.” Romans 4:4-5

The blessings of God come to those who walk by faith trusting Jesus for their every need. There is no other way.

Most Christ followers attempt to appease Me through works believing I will respond with blessings. I bless those who walk with Me by faith and are obedient to My voice.

Your good works will not influence the blessings of God. However, your unyielding faith will stir the heart of God and bring the rewards of Christ.

The laws given to Moses on Mount Sinai required the Israelites to follow specific rules and sacraments relating to life. These laws died on the Cross and have been replaced by a New Covenant built on faith in Jesus.

Faith is a lifestyle of trusting God regardless of the conditions in your life. You reach out to God for your every need believing all the promises in Christ are yes and amen.

There is no obligation on the part of God to bless you because of your works. Think about this like a worker who gets paid for his labors. This was the spiritual principle of the Old Covenant.

In the New Covenant which was established by the death of Jesus all believers are justified by faith. The works of God were finished on the Cross. It is hypocrisy to think you can gain the favor of God through your works.

The scriptures speak openly about the principle of walking with God by faith. Abraham believed God and it was credited to him as righteousness and the righteous shall live by faith.

Without faith it is impossible to please God!

Defining your relationship with Jesus?

The Holy Spirit spoke to me two nights ago about the term “custodial authority”.

For in Christ we live and move and have our being!

The definition of custodial relates to a guardian who looks over your interests and provides a shelter of protection.

Think about this as making a decision to invite Jesus to manage your life. You agree to give up your autonomy and the right to living for self.

Why would anyone make this life changing decision?

The response is very simple. Jesus will give you a better life than you can ever achieve on your own. He will bring quality, order and joy into your life. These characteristics come from heaven. You cannot find them in the world.

Jesus offers the gift of salvation which assures you of eternal security and confidence in His promises.

Jesus is a reservoir of unlimited strength, wisdom, and peace.

Jesus desires to live with you in every moment of your life both here on earth and later in heaven.

Jesus knows you better than yourself. And, He is omniscient and sees all of your future.

There are many vulnerabilities for those living in this world. You have a genetic disposition for sin from your ancestry. You were born with a desire to live for self and satisfy your fleshly indulgences. Satan wants to tempt you into evil and destroy your life. Jesus gives you the ability to overcome these vulnerabilities and live a life pleasing to Him.

Jesus desires to give you an abundant life filled with the goodness of God. He promises to supply your every need according to the glorious riches in Christ Jesus. In fact, He wants to give you more than you ask or think!

How do you give custodial authority to Jesus?

The Holy Spirit is the life of Christ and lives in all believers. Invite the Holy Spirit to have authority over every detail of your life. This decision will introduce you to the reality of the Living Christ.

Jesus wants to be your best friend and have engaging conversations with you. He wants to refine you with His values.

The custodial authority of Jesus is your protection and hope for an abundant life. This has nothing to do with religion. You come to know the Living Christ, walk with Him by faith and seek His will for your life.

Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. There is no one like Him!

Overcoming your capricious nature through Christ Jesus!

“All the promises of God in Christ are yes and amen.” 2 Corinthians 1:20

The definition of capricious is someone who is subject to sudden mood changes usually caused by unstable emotions.

We all struggle with this human predicament. Troubles comes into our life and they trigger emotions of anger, fear, and doubt.

I asked God to help me write this blog without giving you a lot of religious platitudes that tend to last briefly and then fade away. This is how God responded to me.

I am a Living Christ and dwell inside all believers. Come to Me. I am here to help you.

You should understand all humanity has to live with this personality defect. It will never go away.

I am an overcomer and will help you avoid the emotions and harmful effects of living with a capricious inner spirit.

I may not take away your troubles immediately but I will give you My strength, endurance, peace, and joy. Ask and you shall receive! I will never fail you.

The perfect solution to overcoming a capricious inner spirit is living by faith believing in My promises. Unfortunately, you cannot do this on your own. You are too weak.

Ask Me to strengthen your faith and take away the incredulous emotions that cause you to stray away from Me.

Live through My life with vigilant prayer and find your nourishment in My words. The world is temporal but I am eternal.

Remember, nothing is impossible for Me!

How to be obedient to Christ Jesus?

For as the sash clings to the waist of a man, so I have caused the whole house of Israel and the whole house of Judah to cling to Me, says the Lord, that they may become My people, for renown, for praise, and for glory; but they would not hear.” Jeremiah 13:11

How did God cause the Israelites to cling to Him? This started with the everlasting covenant God made with Abraham. God told Abraham that he would have many descendants like the innumerable stars in the sky and they would be His chosen people.

Be still and know that I am God!

The Israelites were the “set apart” people of God destined to be filled with the renown, praise, and glory of God. They would ultimately fail God time and again because they refused to listen to Him.

God delivered the Israelites out of forty years of slavery and set them free. They personally witnessed the power and majesty of God.

God spoke to the Israelites on Mount Sinai. He said if you will obey My voice and keep My covenant you will be a special treasure to Me above all the people for all the land is mine.

God kept His word. He eventually transformed a small Jewish tribe into a powerful nation.

The downfall of Israel took place because the people did not listen to the voice of God. They were defiant to the ways of God. Israel was destroyed and the people were scattered around the world.

The fundamental principle of God is you must listen to His voice and be compliant (or submissive) to His instructions. This is where we fail God and then have to live with the consequences of our disobedience.

It is vital for a Christ follower to listen to the voice of God. He desires to fill you with His thoughts and guide you into His perfect will. You cannot be obedient to Jesus if you do not listen to His voice.

Jesus convicts you of sin.

Jesus shows you the areas of your life where you are not walking by faith.

Jesus teaches you His values and how to live them out in your life.

Jesus provides you with spiritual wisdom to overcome the challenges of life and to protect your pathway.

Jesus sends you on missionary endeavors to do His work.

Jesus wants you to be successful in your marriage, work, and relationships with others. Listen for the counsel of God; it defies human logic.

Salvation is living moment by moment with Christ. This is impossible to do if you are not living in oneness with Christ anchored to the Holy Spirit and open to His voice.

Salvation does not relate to time. It is living out the life of Jesus one day at a time. And, this cannot happen if you are not listening to Him.

The heartbeat of Christ!

“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” Matthew 7:12

God spoke this to me in the middle of the night.

I am Christ the Lord and worthy of your praise. Worship Me in Spirit and Truth.

This speaks to the essence of the values of Jesus. Treat others with respect, courtesy and without partiality.

I find this impossible to do without the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in me.

Honor Jesus today with your words and actions.

Jesus died so you can have life and have it more abundantly.
