The passions of Christ Jesus!

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:33

The passions of Christ are a reflection on your spiritual life and indicate how serious you are about living for Him.

The passion of Christ is for you is to live with Him through the work of the Cross. This is where you will find forgiveness, healing and new life.

God is at work bringing the gift of salvation to those who come to Him with an open heart.

He is performing miracles of healing around the world.

He is bringing down strongholds and setting people free through the arduous work of intercession.

He is punishing the world for our sins and striking down the haughty and arrogant. The judgments of Christ are a sign of the end times and the anger of God for rejecting His values.

He is in the process of reconciling all things to Himself. At the appointed time of God every thing in heaven and earth will be one with Christ. He will reign over all!

Your role in the passions of Christ will come by seeking out God above all else. He must be the centerpiece of your life.

The fundamental principle is to walk by faith reaching out to God for your every need.

This requires your dedication to prayer and meditating on the word of God. And, you have to listen for the voice of God.

Most importantly, you walk in oneness with Christ anchored to the Holy Spirit. He will bring the reality of Christ into every moment of your life.

The desire of God for you is very simple. He wants your loyalty to Him above all else.

For in Him we live and move and have our being!

The richness of Christ and the poverty of man!

“There is a way that seems right to a man but its end is death.” Proverbs 16:12

This word was given to me by God on my walk yesterday. The starting point with Jesus is accepting your poverty and inability to match up to the standards of God.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding.

You and I are impoverished human beings lacking the values of Christ. We live for self; God lives for you. He has no ego.

The heart desire of Christ Jesus is to offer salvation to all lost souls and to help believers live with the quality and abundance of Christ.

You will find the richness of Christ living by faith and trusting in the promises of God. There is no other way.

Your faith will fill you with the righteousness of Christ. Without faith you cannot please God.

Think of yourself as a human vessel engineered to live for self. This can only be overcome by the life of Christ living within you in the form of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit has to be nourished through prayer, the blood of Christ, and dwelling in the word of Christ.

Worship Christ in Spirit and Truth always listening for His voice.

The hard lesson of life for a believer is understanding God gives and He takes. The seasons of your life are under the authority of Christ. You cannot change the mind of Christ; you have to live in submission to Christ and walk by faith.

The promises to those who make Christ their dwelling place!

“Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.” Psalm 91:14-16

The promises of God in Psalm 91 are awesome and life changing. They come from the heart of God and will never change or become compromised by religion or worldly values.

Living with Christ is not an escape from the perils of the world or the temptations of the flesh. It is believing in the promises of Christ and living in oneness with Him through the resurrected power of the Cross.

The challenge is making Christ your dwelling place and loving Him with all your heart, your mind, and your strength.

You love God because He first loved you and chose to give you the precious gift of everlasting life.

You love God because He is the creator of the heavens and earth and you acknowledge His attributes of greatness, power, glory, victory, and majesty.

You dwell with Christ when you make a heart commitment to live for Him above all else.

Walk by faith reaching out to Jesus for your every need. Inquire of the Lord for help to overcome your troubles and wisdom in making good decisions

Worship Jesus in Spirit and Truth anchored to the Holy Spirit who is sealed inside you.

Love Jesus by seeking out His will through prayer and meditating on His Word.

Dwell with Christ by living in submission to His voice.

You will not find Christ in laws or works. You will find Him in your loyalty and dedication to living with His values.

The consequences of speaking blasphemy against God!

The Word from God today is about blasphemy which is the act or offense of speaking sacrilegiously about God or sacred things.

This warning came along with the scripture below from the Book of Amos.

These words from God were directed at the Israelites and are revelant today to all those in the Body of Christ.

“An enemy will overrun your land, pull down your strongholds and plunder your fortresses.” Amos 3:11

At some point in time, God will eliminate two thirds of the world’s population. This will happen because of blasphemy against our Holy God.

If you speak blasphemy today you are risking losing your life. God may strike you down dead. I have seen this action take place with my own eyes.

We are living in dire times but we must speak with words and actions that honor almighty God.

Pray the meditations of your heart and the words coming out of your mouth will be pleasing to Christ Jesus.

Pray for healing from the emotional scars of the past and for an effusive attitude about God filled with praise and hallelujahs.

Jesus has power and dominion over the heavens and earth. Your destiny is in His hands.

Seek out the will of God for your life and live in peace with Christ. He loves you!

The words coming out of your mouth define your standing in Christ!

“Does a spring send forth fresh water and bitter from the same opening?” James 3:11

The best way to evaluate your relationship with God is to listen to the words coming out of your mouth. Do they edify God or come from self seeking or envy?

Your life begins with Jesus. Look to Me for your every need and rest in My efficacy.

God holds each of us accountable for the words we speak. If you want your words to be like a stream of pure water you must walk by faith with God anchored to the Holy Spirit.

Your words are a reflection of the condition of your heart. Ask Jesus to pour His blood over you and create a clean heart inside you. Pray your motives are built on the values of Christ.

Your priority is to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. We get off track with God when we put our desires ahead of God.

Ask God to take away feelings of anger, bitterness, or deep hurts. Pray for inner healing and forgiveness.

We all tend to blame God when troubles come our way. The spiritual response is to recognize He is God and can do with you as He pleases.

Your troubles are an opportunity to see the the power of God at work and experience His miracles in your life.

Commit your works to God each day and ask the Holy Spirit to fill you with His thoughts.

The wisdom coming from God is pure, peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.

This is the road map for a Christ follower!

The self deprecating nature of the people of Christ!

This word from God came to me this morning as I was entering my garage. I was thinking about someone I have been praying for a very long time and how he was so dysfunctional and screwed up. Oh my gosh, like a lightning bolt the next thought that came into my mind was that you were just like this person and probably worse.

Where sin abounds My grace abounds more.

The definition of self deprecating is tending or serving to disparage or undervalue oneself.

I went out on my walk and God shared a number of thoughts with me.

Don’t take yourself so seriously. You have to live in the blood of Christ every day of your life. You are a human and I am God.

Don’t let your past take you down. I have forgiven you; forgive yourself.

I accept you just the way you are with all your human frailties. You are perfect in My sight. This kind of made me sick.

I am not looking for perfection. Walk by faith believing in My promises. This will make you whole in My sight.

All last night I heard the voice of God speaking to me about healing. He is healing people around the world. Ask and you shall receive!

He also wants you and I to have the effusive emotions that come from the Spirit of Christ regardless of our suffering or troubles.

He is God and there is no one like Him!

Is your commitment to Jesus or religion?

“But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship HimGod is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:23-24

Many believers are touched by the love of God and then are drawn into religion believing they are pleasing God. Nothing can be further from the truth.

Hypocrisy is acting like a believer. The Christ follower walks by faith and lives in oneness with Me through the Holy Spirit. His priority in life is seeking out My will and living in obedience to Me. He is a light touching those living in darkness.

The local church is a filling station. It is not your home. Your home is living in oneness with Jesus anchored to the Holy Spirit.

The journey with God is always about going out into life to spread the gospel.

Jesus never allowed the apostles to live with Him isolated from life.

The apostles were with Jesus for a short period of time to be prepared and equipped for ministry.

The missionary spirit lives in every believer.

How can you and I live out the words of Jesus “Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

God tends to take believers into the gutters of life to do the work of ministry. You’re not much help to God sitting in a church pretending to be religious.

The heavy duty work of Jesus is done through intercession bringing down strongholds and setting people free. Intercession begins and ends with God and is a very holy calling.

Intercession is extremely difficult as you labor in the Spirit without any personal glory or acclaim. But you will be very close to God and reap many rewards for your efforts.

Intercession teaches you about the reality of ministry. You participate in the war between light and darkness.

The great work of God is done through intercessors who are used by Jesus in accord with the Lord’s Prayer “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven”.

Walk by faith with God and be open to the missionary spirit dwelling within you.

The ministry of Jesus is to bring counsel, execute judgment, hide the outcasts, and make your shadow like the night in the middle of the day. This is the life of a believer!

Where can you find God today?

The foundations of the world have cracked and things are beginning to fall apart.

I live in the life of believers!

Jesus sees the abysmal condition of our country and the lack of respect for our heritage in God.

You won’t find God today in politics or religion. He has abandoned these venues because they have become corrupted.

You won’t find His favor over the USA.

You will continue to see a blowing wind of severe judgment because we have defamed the character of our great God.

So where can you find the heart of God today?

The answer is you will find sufficiency of life in the Living Christ. There is no other way.

Jesus never changes. He honors the word of God and keeps all His promises.

You will find God today by living out your faith in the promises of Christ.

Walk by faith reaching out to Jesus for your every need.

Listen for the voice of God.

Worship Jesus in Spirit and Truth. He lives inside you.

Jesus is creating new life today. If anyone is in Christ He is a new creature filled with the life of Jesus.

Jesus is healing people around the globe. Ask and you shall receive!

Jesus is bringing down strongholds and setting people free.

Jesus is a holy God and wants to share His life with you. Abandon yourself without partiality to God and you will see Jesus today!

He lives so you can live!

Dealing with the hardships of life through Christ!

“They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it.” 1 Peter 3:11

What does God want from me today?

Walk with Me by faith. I will never leave you or forsake you. Seek Me out for your every need. I live in the desperation of your life.

The simplicity of Christ is to turn away from evil, do good, and seek peace in your relationships with others and your decision making.

In this season of judgment we have to let God be God. Please God in the little things in your life. You have no control over the big picture.

This bible verse seems easy to accomplish but it is very difficult to walk by these values of Christ.

You and I have to deal with the lusts of the flesh, fear and doubt, economic uncertainty, political upheaval, bleakness, and a spreading pandemic. And, Satan is at work to destroy your faith and lead you into darkness.

God wants you and I to walk by faith believing in the promises of Christ. Do not look at the scarcity in your life. Find your sufficiency in Christ living one day at a time.

The starting point is the life of Christ who is sealed inside you. Live in oneness with God through the Holy Spirit. Pray, listen for His voice, and worship Christ in Spirit and Truth.

The purpose of God is to offer the gift of salvation to lost souls around the world and bring glory to His name. How do you and I fit into this goal?

God is an intercessor. He hates sin and is continually at work to bring down strongholds and set people free. You play a part in this whether you recognize it or not.

God is healing people around the world. Ask and you shall receive.

God is holy. Come to Him through the blood of Christ with an attitude of repentance.

Ask for the unlimited strength of Christ to meet you every challenge today.

God has power and dominion over the heavens and the earth. You lack the ability to change the course of your life. God’s counsel today is “Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.”

God is at work in your life this very moment.

Jesus loves you!

Living with Christ Jesus free from all laws!

“But our sufficiency is from God, who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.” 2 Corinthians 3:5-6

The word from God today is “rescission” which implies the cancellation of a legal contract. In the context of the life of a believer, Jesus has cancelled all laws relating to having a relationship with Him.

Jesus died so you can be free from all the burdensome laws and the demands of religion.

If you attempt to please God through laws, this will bring condemnation upon you and lead to the death of Christ in your life.

This act of God does not entitle you to a free for all with immoral living. You are under obligation to lead a life pleasing to God. If you take liberties with this freedom you will face the consequences of God.

Jesus wants your devotion and loyalty to Him above all else. He also wants you to live in the light of Christ.

Walk with Jesus by faith anchored to the Holy Spirit. Reach out to Him for your every need.

Listen for the voice of God.

Ask for the blood of Christ to cover you sins and the Holy Spirit to help you lead a life pleasing to God.

Live in a vigil of prayer with God always mindful of praising Him for who He is.

Commit your works each day to Christ and ask Him to fill you with His thoughts.

Jesus want to live in all the details of your life but you have to invite Him to enter into your world. Jesus lives in the moment. This is where you will find Him today.

Ask for the strength of Jesus which comes without limits.

Be obedient to the voice of Jesus even when it makes no sense and seems contradictory to all logic.
