There is only one portal to God; the resurrection of Christ Jesus.
The resurrection of Jesus makes it possible for anyone to receive the gift of salvation. This gift comes by faith and transforms you into a new creature in Christ Jesus.
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6
The life of Jesus is manifested through the Holy Spirit. Jesus died so you can have an abundant life filled with the goodness of God.
You cannot see Jesus or have human contact with Him but you can live closely with Jesus through His Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is sealed in all believers. He is the portal to the heart of Jesus. He is your direct link to all the attributes of Jesus. He is strength, wisdom, protection, and joy. He speaks for Jesus and guides your pathway.
The Holy Spirit allows you to see the transfigured Jesus. He performs signs and wonders in your life.
You must invite the Holy Spirit to have authority over your life if you want the Living Christ.
Your sins grieve the Holy Spirit and distance you from the fullness of God. It is important at all times to be right with God and yielding to the Spirit of Christ.
You can do nothing for God without the resurrected power of Christ. It is not by might nor by power but by the Spirit.
The Spirit wants you to praise God and pray diligently. He wants to heal you from disease and illness. And, protect you from evil influences.
The Spirit shows you how to pray according to the will of God. He makes intercession through you to set the captives free.
The Holy Spirit performs miracles in your life.
The Holy Spirit gives you glimpses of the glory of God.
He who is within you is greater than He who is in the world.
“I now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the church.” Colossians 1:24
We have to get out of the mindset of building a relationship with God to satisfy our own interests.
Walking with God is living in oneness with Him through the Holy Spirit and seeking His will for your life.
Salvation is about giving the gift of God to others. You cannot keep it for yourself.
The question is how do you identify with the interests of God. The answer will come through prayer and listening to God.
God wants to bring down strongholds and set people free. And, He will use you to accomplish this goal. This usually takes place through intercession. The Spirit of God dwelling within you will make intercession for those people who are important to God.
This is an arduous labor of love and causes you to identify with the person or situation on God’s mind. You are in the the middle of a war between light and darkness.
You are participating in the words of Jesus that whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven.
Intercessors do the heavy work of God and enjoy a very close and special relationship with Him.
Intercession is a pure work of God and keeps self out of the picture.
Your spiritual journey is designed to bring glory to God.
“He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.” Matthew 3:11
This narrative is about Jesus developing new roots in your life. The roots of Jesus are eternal and anchor you forever with the presence of God.
The Holy Spirit will take what belongs to Me and share it with you. He will transform you into the embodiment of Christand empower you to be My witness to the world.
The Holy Spirit baptizes you with the fires of God. This happens to those who make a decision to live for Jesus above all else.
It is impossible to live for Jesus without the baptism of the Holy Spirit. You have to become a new creature in Christ Jesus with the powerful anointing of God.
The baptism will crucify your self nature and transform you into the character of God. He will deal with all of the factors that formed your personality and exfoliate all the toxins from the past.
Your willingness to live for God and let go of the world will increase the fires of God within you.
Ask God today what you need to change in your life to receive the fullness of the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
He will answer you directly and pour out His spirit upon your abandonment to Jesus.
However, you must be willing to let go of everything and give your life to God without any boundaries.
The Holy Spirit allows you to walk closely with God and empowers you with His life.
You will be a powerful witness for Jesus and those in your life will know you have met the Living Christ.
“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.” Galatians 2:20
The passion of Jesus is for you to give up your rights to yourself and become a bond servant of Christ. Very few people reach this point in their spiritual journey.
If you are willing to lose your life for My sake I will give you an abundant life filled with the goodness of God.You will see Me for who I am!
The decision to let go completely and live in total obedience to Jesus is too painful and costly for most.
You have to give Jesus permission to crucify your every passion, desire and ambition.
Your pride will be broken and the Holy Spirit will merge the humility of Jesus with your personality.
You will wake up each day to live for Jesus facing adversities, suffering and all the challenges of life. At times it will seem like God doesn’t care about you.
This is a matter of choosing to be totally dependent on Jesus and rejecting the world.
Your life will go from ashes to beauty. Until you experience the ashes it is impossible to live in the beauty of Christ.
This is not about your purposes or a ministry. It is learning to live in oneness with Jesus and to be crucified into His likeness.
The upside is you will experience the divine nature of God including His greatness, power, glory, victory and majesty. He will be your best friend and your only hope for life.
You will find out very quickly the purposes of God are not for your personal enrichment; they are to set the captives free.
God is single minded. He wants salvation for lost souls. This is His driving passion and you can be an integral member of His team but it will cost you dearly.
“Your relationship with Christ is give and take. I give My life to you and take away your sins. You give yourself to Me without limitations and take My promises by faith.”
“Most assuredly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him. If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.” John 13:16-17
The word from God today is about living in a symbiotic relationship with Christ. This is defined as a close and mutually beneficial relationship between two parties.
You can live in oneness with Me through the Holy Spirit. He will take what belongs to Me and share it with you.
In this relationship, you and I are a servant and not the master. We live in submission to Christ and this how we experience His life and become a powerful witness for Christ.
Your decision for Christ opens the door to a personal and embracing relationship with the Living God. You live for Christ and He promises you the gift of salvation and shares His life with you. The secret is to invite the Holy Spirit to have authority over your life. This will allow the Living Christ to dwell in all your thoughts, decisions, relationships with others.
As a new creature in Christ Jesus you are born again. All things become new.
The sanctifying work of Christ is not for you. It is to draw people to Him. You should not strive to be righteous; you should strive to follow in the footsteps of Christ.
Jesus was perfectly obedient to His Father. As a disciple of Jesus, your purpose is to be obedient to Christ.
Jesus dined with His disciples near the end of His ministry on this earth. After the meal, Jesus washed the feet of the disciples. This act was designed to show the disciples they were clean in the eyes of God.
Then Jesus charged His disciples to do the same thing in their lives. Reach out to those living in darkness with the love of Christ and demonstrate how they can come clean before God.
The cleansing of the feet was a symbolic gesture on the part of Jesus. The disciples were not free from sin or anointed with the Spirit of God but they all belonged to Jesus except for Judas.
The disciples would stumble and face many hardships in their lives but they were assured of the gift of salvation.
The challenge is how can you and I wash the feet of those around us? This can only happen if you are living in oneness with God through the Holy Spirit.
Only God knows who is willing to accept the gospel and the perfect timing for this to take place. He also knows the most effective way to touch someone with the love of Christ. This why it is so important to be tuned into God through His Spirit.
Another important aspect of ministry is intercession. This is the most powerful method of bringing down strongholds and setting people free to accept the gift of salvation. This is accomplished between you and God through the work of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus said “He who believes in Me out of his heart will flow rivers of Living Water.” The Living Water is the life of Christ dwelling within you and is manifested in your words, actions, and demeanor.
The Living Water is given freely to all those who have an open heart to God and seek Him out through diligent prayer, living in the Word, and yielding to the Holy Spirit.
The goal of a believer is to be filled with the Living Water and free from any sin that grieves the Holy Spirit. This will enable you to walk confidently with God and be a powerful witness for Christ.
Your ministry with Christ will only be as effective as your oneness is with Him. He wants a symbiotic relationship built on love, devotion, trust, and friendship.
“The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.” John 3:8
Gravity is a force that causes movement from one mass to another mass. In the context of God this is the force that moves a human being from a life of living for self to living for God.
This happens through the perfect love of Jesus. He wants to give you an abundant life filled with the goodness of God. This is a life you can never achieve on your own.
This miracle is a supernatural transaction between you and God. It works like this; you hear the gospel and accept it by faith.
You open up your heart to God and make a heartfelt decision to live for Jesus above all else. No one can make this decision for you. It must come from you.
Jesus is at work at all times to draw you to close to Him whether you are a believer or not.
Jesus desires for you to live with Him forever and share in the attributes of His life.
God will not always strive with the spirit of man. If you continue to reject Jesus at some point He will move on.
However, all it takes is for you to reach out with sincerity to Jesus and He will meet you immediately at your point of need.
Jesus is a very jealous God and His jealousy is like a consuming fire. He wants all of you and will not want to share you with other gods or idols.
The gravitational pull of God begins with the wind which is the Spirit of God. The wind blows wherever it pleases God. You can hear the sound but cannot cannot tell where the wind comes from or where it goes.
This is how you become a new creature in Christ Jesus.
The wind took Jesus to the two men walking on the road to Emmaus. They met Jesus and their life was never the same.
The wind took Phillip, an apostle of Jesus, to meet the rich Ethiopian. He became born again into the likeness of Jesus.
The wind took Jesus to an encounter with the woman at the well. She rejected darkness to live in the light of Christ.
The wind is blowing today. Are you hearing the voice of Christ and walking towards Him?
The wind is the authenticity of Jesus and saves lives.
“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10
The handiwork of God is for one purpose; to prepare you to do good works.
The handiwork is accomplished by almighty God and started before you were born. It is a lifelong process of molding you into the character of God.
God desires for you to bring glory to His name but this cannot happen until self gets out of the way and you come to personally know the Living Christ. You will find out His thoughts and ways are are miles apart from yours. This is because God has no ego and you are a self driven person.
You have to get rid of the idea you can do something for God. This is the stumbling block for most believers. God doesn’t want your efforts; He wants to work through you.
The great miracles of God are done by those who understand it is not by might nor by power but by the Spirit of God. You literally stand still and see the salvation of the Lord at work.
Walking with God is living by faith and reaching out to Jesus for your every need. It is a lifestyle of dependence solely upon God.
Jesus wants your obedience to His voice without questioning His motives. And, many times the instructions of God will make no sense to you.
The sanctification of God is not designed for you to live in a sanctimonious bubble. It is to make you a viable witness for Christ reaching out to the dregs of society.
The one who believes in Jesus will be a fountain of Living Water springing up to everlasting life.
The people in your life will know you have been on the transfigured mountain with the Living Jesus. They will be amazed to see how you live on the earth but you are not of the earth!
“Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.” Matthew 5:5
The quality of meekness referred to in this beatitude is spiritual submission and obedience to Jesus.
Jesus demonstrated this by dying on the Cross for you. If you are a believer God is at work to crucify your self nature and cause you to live in oneness with Him.
You were not born with this attribute of meekness. It is given to you by the Holy Spirit in your journey with God.
The Christ follower does not need to boast about himself or his achievements.
He esteems others higher than himself.
He recognizes the sovereignty of God and understands he can do nothing without the help of God.
He is humble because he trusts in the promises of God. They are his safety net.
He walks by faith and is obedient to the voice of God.
He is continually seeking God out for wisdom and guidance.
The meek is the person who lives for Me above all else. He allows Me to mold him into My character. He identifies with the Cross and experiences pain and suffering in his spiritual journey. I will pour out the fullness of My blessings on the meek.
He ceases from striving and rests in God.
The promise from Jesus is the meek will inherit the goodness of God in the land of the living.
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:3
This is about the disparity between those who desperately need Jesus and those who believe they can lead a morally acceptable life on their own.
The journey from sinner to a saint is a continuous work of God and happens to those who walk by faith believing in the promises of Jesus.
Jesus spoke this beatitude first in the Sermon on the Mount.
Jesus came to save those who are hopelessly lost and know they unable to live a life pleasing to God. Jesus delighted in ministering to prostitutes, adulterers, corrupt tax collectors.
The first step to becoming a Christ follower is to understand the inadequacy of your inner condition.
You were born with a disposition to live for self and defy God. You can never get right with God. You are estranged from the kingdom of Heaven.
God is holy and will not accept you in your natural condition. You are contaminated with sin.
You cannot overcome this estrangement by doing good works, adhering to a set of laws, or through religion.
You have to be transformed into a new creature in Christ Jesus. There is no other way.
This happens when you make a heartfelt decision to live for Jesus above all else.
Jesus gives you the gift of salvation and the ability to live with Him forever. This is a life changing event and you will never be the same.
Jesus baptizes you with water and the Holy Spirit and you are transformed into a new identity. You belong to Jesus and inherit all of His promises.
God seals you with the Holy Spirit. He is the life of Christ and your direct link to God.
You now have the capability to live a life pleasing to God. Jesus becomes your best friend and teaches you the values of God.
The transaction with Jesus is made by faith with those who fail God often and are living in spiritual poverty.
And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up.But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, “Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.” And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God. Luke 13:11-13
Jesus heals for one purpose; to bring glory to His name.
Believe in Me and I will heal you. There is no one like Me!
In this story Jesus saw the crippled lady and reached out to her. He spoke words of healing to her and laid His hands on her. She was immediately healed and gave the glory to God.
Recently, I have been deeply touched by the desire of God to heal those with diseases and infirmities. At this very moment God is healing people all over the world. I have seen His healing work on many occasions.
The act of healing begins with reaching out to God with repentance for your sins. Ask Jesus to cover you with His blood.
Seek out Jesus and ask Him to reveal any sins or mistakes from the past that might be preventing healing.
Many times your illness is a result of a genetic disposition passed on to you through your ancestry. Ask God to break the power of this stronghold and set you free.
Pray that all curses spoken over you in the past are broken by the blood of Jesus.
Healing will only come by your faith in Jesus. He died on the Cross so you can be healed.
Seek out Jesus by faith and praise Him for who He is. He keeps His word.
