Giving the Living Christ permission to be your God

The first words I heard this morning from the Holy Spirit were “Suffer it to be so now”.

These were the words spoken by Jesus just before He was baptized by John. Jesus was giving God permission to do with Him as He pleased.

Jesus recognized this baptism was a precursor leading to suffering and death.

Jesus was obedient to God.

Jesus was baptized into death so we could live in the righteousness of God.

You and I are baptized into the death of Christ. We die to self to live for Christ.

The significance of baptism is allowing God to have His way with you.

You have to be baptized into Jesus by the Water and the Spirit.

You become a new creature in Christ Jesus dedicated to live for Him.

Jesus is the pathway to the righteousness of God.

The sacrament of baptism empowers you to do the works of Christ.

The life of Jesus offers liberty from religion.

The steps to baptism into the death and resurrected life of Christ:

Confess your sins to Jesus and ask for forgiveness. Ask Jesus to cover you with His blood.

Open your heart up to God with a sincerity to live for Christ. Abandon yourself to God without any preconditions. Make a covenant with Christ to do your very best to live subservient to His will above all else.

This will initiate the process of becoming a new creature in Christ Jesus.

You will be sealed with the Holy Spirit who is the life of Christ. This will entitle you to the strength, wisdom, protection, and joy of Christ. And, the Holy Spirit will begin teaching you the values of Christ while crucifying your old self.

The transformation into a new person will cause you to look seriously at your motives. They have to be pure and in accord with God.

Your responsibility is to pray diligently, fill yourself with the word of Christ, and commit your works each day to God.

God promises you the gift of salvation and the ability to live through Him in all the ups and downs of life.

The value of Christ is He desires to give you a life you can never achieve on your own and bless the deepest desires of your heart.

He lives so you can live!

Is the Living Christ really your God?

Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” Matthew 4:4

The word from God today is to live subservient to Christ. This means you diligently seek out His will for your life and are compliant to the voice of the Holy Spirit.

God has been telling me for some time that very few people walk by faith and actually fulfill their needs through the promises of God. They mostly rely on self sufficiency efforts or worldly tactics.

The challenge is to wait on God or get a quick fix. The quick fix brings short lived pleasure but is very temporary. God’s blessings are eternal and satisfy the depth of your soul. The world will fail you but God will give you an abundant and sustaining life.

The other admonition from God is you cannot exploit Him to achieve your personal goals. Your motives with God have to be pure. He wants you to live by faith and seek Him out above all else.

God will never bless you because of your works. You will please the heart of God through your unyielding faith and by giving no power to what you see with your eyes. The righteous shall live by faith.

Take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ Jesus. This will allow you to live with the values of Christ and avoid the temptations of the world or your fleshly indulgences.

Ask the Holy Spirit to have authority over your thoughts, words, and actions.

Walking with Christ will bring afflictions and suffering. This is because you have been baptized into the death of Christ. God will comfort you through the suffering with His love, patience, and joy. This comfort is not just for you but it is for you to share with others who are suffering.

Most believers find their comfort zone in worshipping God through works and laws. Religion is safe ground. The Living Christ will shatter your belief system and turn your world upside down. Your life will never be the same.

Your purpose with Christ is to know Him intimately and walk by faith trusting in His promises.

This will bring a smile on His face!

A promise from Christ about the pandemic!

The Lord said to Moses, “Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live.” So Moses made a bronze snake and put it up on a pole. Then when anyone was bitten by a snake and looked at the bronze snake, they lived.” Numbers 21:8-9

Good Morning,

I have been praying fervently for God to show me how we can escape the pandemic and live a healthy life bringing glory to God.

I asked God yesterday what should be mounted on the top of the pole made by Moses that would heal or protect those from the pandemic. God told me “Loyalty to Christ”.

God told me all those who make a pledge of loyalty to Christ will be saved including family members. This is an unequivocal promise from Christ.

You can claim this promise today by making a commitment to live for Christ by faith and to be obedient to His voice. God wants your loyalty not your works.

For in Him, we live and move and have our being!

The grandeur of Christ Jesus!

Therefore God has also highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name.” Philippians 2:9

Last night God told me that He is an unconditional God. He is unrestricted and has no boundaries.

He also told me you cannot catalog Him or attempt to define Him systematically. He is everywhere.

God said “Have no other gods before Me. This restricts you from My power and glory. And, it will lead you to destruction.”

He also reminded me about walking with Christ by faith. Most believers have the mistaken idea if you abide by laws and religious requirements God is obligated to bless you. This is a fabrication of Christianity and a distortion of truth.

God will bless those who walk by faith believing in the promises of Christ and are obedient to the voice of Christ.

God told me He is irate over the lack of fear and respect for who He is. He explained His judgments are like a volcano spewing out smoke, fire, and hot lava.

God has burdened me with severe intercession almost to the point of breaking over those who are under a stronghold of Satan. This is an expression of the compassion of God for those who are in bondage to greed or lust (or other addictions) and will do almost anything to fulfill their fleshly or aphrodisiac desires.

There is no one like Christ. Come and worship Him in Spirit and Truth!

He lives so you can live!

The word from Christ for today!

“Their sorrows shall be multiplied who hasten after another god” Psalm 16:4

The word from God today is “Have no other gods before Me.”

This is how God is speaking to me this morning.

I alone am God and I want your absolute devotion. Turn away from aphrodisiac living. It will destroy you.

My words are alive and powerful. Live and breathe through Me. There is no one like Me.

I am a God of compassion and mercy. My ways are perfect.

The times are troubling for all but you will find comfort and strength in Me.

I abhor evil. Walk with Me anchored to My Spirit and reject your fleshly indulgences.

Live with Me by faith believing in My promises. I keep My Word.

Your sanctuary is in the Son of God. I died to give you an abundant life.

Trust Me!

The indigenous nature of Christ in a believer!

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10

The word from God today is “indigenous” which means innate or inborn.

As a believer you were created in the image of God and His nature lives in you through the Holy Spirit. You are a new creature in Christ Jesus.

The hand of God is molding you into a new person reflecting the values of Christ. This process is at work this very moment and will continue throughout your entire life here on earth.

The challenge is how are you going to utilize His workmanship?

Ministry begins with God and is inititated through the Holy Spirit.

Your faith is the catalyst to good works. Faith is believing in the promises of God and acting in obedience to God when He asks you to do a good work.

You don’t have to strive to do the work of God. The Holy Spirit will bring the work to you and anoint you for the task at hand.

Acknowledge the command of God to do unto others as you would have them do unto you. This is treating others with respect and courtesy.

Walk in oneness with God through the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the life of Jesus and He knows exactly how and when to reach out to a non believer.

The non believer does not have the indigenous quality of God and he or she cannot relate to you in spiritual terminology. In this situation, the most effective approach is usually just to be a light for God touching non believers with the fruit of the Spirit.

The most effective and powerful ministry of God takes place through intercession. You stand in the gap for those who do not know Jesus or are living in bondage to sin. You allow God to make intercession through the Holy Spirit dwelling within you. This will produce powerful results bringing down strongholds and setting people free.

The priority for a believer is to learn how to live by faith. You cannot leapfrog into ministry without a solid foundation of faith. Your life has to demonstrate an expression of faith even in the most dire of circumstances.

The works of God are accomplished by the resurrected power of Christ operating within you. Your self initiative is of no value in working for God. These efforts will come across as religion to others and will have lackluster results.

The works of Jesus were completed on the Cross. If you truly want to be a powerful witness for God you have to be willing to die to self and give up the right to your individuality. Your priority above all else is “Not my will but yours be done.”

You will impress God by your faith never by your works!

An invitation from Christ to receive the Living Water!

Good Morning,

Last night I had a vivid dream from God. I saw many lives transformed by the Living Water of Christ. It was amazing to witness the changes in these people. Everything became new. God changed personalities, thinking patterns, emotions, physical bodies, and ambitions for life.

God told me this dynamic transformation can happen to anyone. Jesus said just ask in My name and without doubt and I will immerse you in the Living Water.

There are no religious commitments required to receive this invitation from Christ. Simply ask by faith in the name of Christ.

The Living Water is the life of Christ. Your life will never be the same.

The wisdom of Christ when facing imminent danger!

Today many people around the world are facing an uphill battle with no hope for victory. They are headed towards destruction and death.

King Jehoshaphat was facing the threat of destruction from the armies of three nations approaching Jerusalem. The King reacted to this threat with faith and confidence in the Lord.

“If calamity comes upon us, whether the sword of judgment, or plague or famine, we will stand in your presence before this temple that bears your Name and will cry out to you in our distress, and you will hear us and save us.”

King Jehoshaphat was a role model for dealing with adversity. He walked by faith, praised God for His greatness, prayed for wisdom, and followed the instructions of God.

Here are the spiritual steps to take when facing disaster:

  1. Seek out God for help with an attitude of confidence in trusting God and praising Him for His greatness.
  2. Do not make any decisions out of fear or panic.
  3. Make sure you are right with God. Confess your sins before God and ask Him to correct you of any wrongdoing in your life. Until this step is taken your efforts will be hopeless. You have to be able to stand blameless before God covered by the blood of Jesus if you want His help.
  4. Recognize the battle is not yours. Jesus died to win battles for you. This is what the Lord said to Jehoshaphat “Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.”
  5. Pray for the perfect wisdom of God. The battle is God’s but He may want you prepare for a victory. Jehoshaphat was directed by God to position His troops in a strategic position. God might ask you to reach out to the Body of Christ for counsel or prayers, make a temporary move, change something in your life, or He just might tell you to wait on Him.
  6. The most important truth is to understand God wants all the glory for the victory. He does not want to share His victories with anyone else. Gideon was facing a similar situation. He was preparing to wage war against the Midianites. He amassed an army of several thousand to fight this war. God told him to reduce the army to 300 men. God did this because He did not want the Israelites to claim glory for this victory.

The victories of Christ come to those who walk by faith with a resolute confidence in the promises of God.

It is not by might nor by power but by the Spirit of God.

The warning of Christ for all believers!

And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.” Romans 13:11-14

God is consumed with the significance of this scripture in Romans 13. It is the heart of God for the Body of Christ.

Here are some thoughts of God concerning your salvation:

Understand the season of God. It is a time of harsh judgments. Every human being on this planet will be touched by the retribution of God.

Awaken out of your sleep. Don’t take God for granted.

Confess your sins and open your heart up to the conviction of the Holy Spirit.

Develop a consciousness with God as part of your lifestyle.

The reality of your salvation is closer than ever before. You cannot two time God. He wants all of you.

Walk away from darkness into the light of Christ.

The armor of light comes to those who are anchored to God through the Holy Spirit.

Live in your new identity as a Christ follower. Ask the Holy Spirit to keep you grounded in Christ.

Pray diligently, invite the word of Christ to dwell richly in you in all wisdom and understanding, and listen for the voice of God.

Reject your fleshly desires for an aphrodisiac lifestyle. Find your stimulus in the life in Christ.

An admonition from Christ about avoiding the pitfalls of sin!

You cannot live with Me and entertain evil thoughts in your mind. These thoughts come from your fleshly desires or temptations from Satan. If you allow these thoughts to become a desire then sin is conceived in your heart. Then it is only a matter of time for the sin to be lived out in your life. Flee from all evil thoughts. They will destroy you.”

The stepping stones to the Living Christ!

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these other things will be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33

The word from God today is to be zealous about Christ.

Develop a passionate attitude seeking out God. Make Christ Jesus the priority in your life above all else.

God is alive and desires to have an embracing and vibrant relationship with you. This is about developing an everlasting friendship with Jesus.

Forget your preconceived ideas about God or the teachings of religion.

Come to God by faith and with a subservient attitude. He will meet you today at your point of need.

God wants your loyalty not your works. The works of God will come out of your obedience to Christ and the leading of the Holy Spirit.

God wants to bless you abundantly and share His life with you. Reach out to Christ by faith and He will give you a life you can never achieve on your own.

The stepping stones to living with the Living Christ!

Here are the simple steps to walk with God. They are void of religion and filled with the vibrant life of Christ. They will work for anyone.

Abandon yourself to God without limitations.

Walk by faith believing in the promises of God.

Ask Christ to pour His blood over you and cleanse you from all sin.

Pray diligently.

Listen to the voice of God.

Spend time in the study of the Word

Commit your works each day to God.

Invite the Holy Spirit to have authority over your life.

Live in oneness with God anchored to the Holy Spirit.

Cease from striving and rest in Christ. It is not by might nor by power but by My Spirit.
