The reality of life for a new creature in Christ Jesus.

Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.” John 3:5

The work of God is transforming your inner being. Your old self dies and you inherit a new identity.

You are born into Christ by Water and Spirit. The water cleanses you from all sin and the Spirit generates new life.

Your new identity lives for God. You are a light touching those living in darkness.

You cannot mix your identities and walk successfully with God.

Your old identity does not have the capability to please God. You are in a hopeless condition and just spinning your wheels.

Your old identity does not have the staying power of God. It needs a worldly aphrodisiac to find satisfaction.

You diminish the power of the Holy Spirit living in your old identity. It is like spirally downward on a pathway into darkness.

Your new identity walks with God anchored to the Holy Spirit. Your aphrodisiac is the life of Christ.

The resurrected power of Christ fills you with strength, wisdom, protection and the joy of the Lord.

Come to Christ by faith and He will make you new. Your foothold into Christ is living in oneness with Him anchored to the Holy Spirit.

The anger of Christ over aphrodisiac living!

Destruction and misery are in their ways.” Romans 3:16

The word from God today is aphrodisiac which means seeking a food, drink, or drug that stimulates sexual desire. It is a sense of looking for excitement or satisfaction in the things of the world.

God destroyed all humanity except for eight people because of His anger over this amoral lifestyle.

You are living in a pandemic because most of humanity is seeking satisfaction in everything but Christ.

Christ offers a stimulus for life you will never find in the world. He died to give you an abundant life filled with the values of Christ.

The aphrodisiac in Christianity is religion. Your stimulus should be living in oneness with Christ through the Holy Spirit. Trying to appease God through works and keeping laws will cause you to suffocate from the lack of the breath of the Living Christ.

The characteristics of Christ are greatness, power, glory, victory, and majesty.

You will never find an aphrodisiac in the world like God. He has power and dominion over the heavens and the earth. Your destiny is in His hands!

Come to Christ by faith and He will set you free from worldly living. Open your heart up to Christ and the world will fade away in the glory and splendor of our great God.

The staying power of Christ!

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8:2

The world has turned into an ugly place and there is really no way to escape the turmoil.

Jesus offers you the gift of salvation. This gift begins the moment you make a decision for Jesus and lasts forever.

Salvation is a living relationship with Christ. You become a new creature in Christ Jesus. Old things fade away and all things become new.

Jesus is an impartial God. He treats all with equality. He will cover your sins with His blood regardless of what you have done in the past. You can receive forgiveness, become restored to God and start off today with a clean slate.

The challenge is how do you get a foothold into Christ? Without a foothold you will slip right back into the miry pit of living for self.

The staying power of Christ comes from the Holy Spirit who lives in all believers.

God knows you can never keep His commandments.

This is why Jesus died on the Cross. As a believer, you are sealed with the Holy Spirit. He is the life of Christ.

The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus will set you free from the law of sin and death. This law will work for anyone and will never fail you.

Jesus has given you the ability to lead a life pleasing to Him. This will happen if you invite the Holy Spirit to have authority over your life.

The conflict is between living for self or yielding to the Holy Spirit. This is an on and off process for all believers regardless of your spiritual maturity.

The desires of the flesh and the temptations of Satan make it very difficult to stay grounded in Christ. And, the adversities of life tend to draw you away from God.

Your only hope is to live in oneness with Christ through the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is the source of the resurrected life of Christ. He will fill you with strength, wisdom, joy, and protection. He teaches you the values of Christ and how to live by faith. He takes what belongs to Jesus and shares it with you.

The Holy Spirit defies the myths of religion and leads you into an embracing and vibrant relationship with the Living God. You see God for who He is!

Pray for wisdom and commit your works each day to Christ. Ask the Holy Spirit to be a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your pathway.

Your relationship with God should be a dialogue of conversations. Listen for the voice of God and ask Him to be your best friend and confidant.

Jesus loves you!

The chagrin of Christ!

The word from God today is “ignoble” or not honorable in character or purpose.

As a society we have fallen from the grace of God. The eyes of Christ see all of our despicable actions.

It is a deplorable sight to see the sexual immorality in our world.

Last night I was burdened over those with addictions for power, lust, money, fame, food and alcohol and drugs. I saw the blight of sin over humanity.

This blight reaches into the center of Christianity. The Body of Christ is filled with pious attitudes and hypocrisy. There is a pervasive attitude of attempting to exploit God to fulfill your individual purposes.

The blessings of God come to those who live by the words; “Not my will but Yours be done.”

Jesus is the author of life and His words last forever.

“Come to Me by faith and with an open heart to know Me. I will cover your sins with My blood and restore you to God. You must have a genuine desire to live for Me. I seek your loyalty and respect above all else. There is no one like Me.”

Becoming entrenched in Christ!

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6

The word from God today is to be entrenched in Christ. This is an attitude of being firmly established in truth and unlikely to change.

You are ingrained in Christ living in oneness with Him.

Jesus wants to be involved in your life today.

Jesus keeps His promises.

Jesus is present everywhere.

Jesus wants to be your safety net in the turmoil of the world.

Here’s how to find Christ the Lord!

Jesus, a man of many sorrows!

Therefore let us go forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing His reproach. For here we have no continuing city, but we seek the one to come. Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.” Hebrews 13:13-15

How would you feel if you were tortured and killed and did nothing wrong?

If you walk with Christ you will feel His sorrows. It is inevitable.

Seek Christ outside the sanctuary feeling His disappointment! You will find Him in the midst of your life.

There is no continuing hope in the world. We are just a brief vapor trail that will disappear into the night. We have to seek the life to come.

You can have glimpses of this life today. Seek out Christ with all your heart!

Praise Christ for the sacrifice of everlasting life.

Share the life of Christ with others through the Holy Spirit!

He lives so you can live!

The steps to meeting the Living Christ!

Walking out of darkness into the light of Christ!

“Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.” Romans 13:14

The predilections of Christ for today.

Abandon yourself to God without any preconditions.

Walk by faith believing in the promises of God.

Confess your sins before Christ.

Be open to the correction of the Holy Spirit.

The holiness of God comes by faith and living anchored to the Holy Spirit.

Commit your works to God and His thoughts will be established within you.

Prayer builds a strong relationship with God. It is a two way conversation and creates oneness with God.

God desires to share His life with you. Ask the Holy Spirit for strength, joy, peace, patience and protection. He will never fail you.

Spend some time in the study of the Word. It will change your life.

Inquire of the Lord in all of your decision making. What seems like a good direction can lead to destruction. Remember, Christ knows you better than you know yourself. And, He is omniscient.

The blood of Jesus was shed outside the gate leading into Jerusalem.

Jerusalem is the symbol of the holy temple of God. The work of God takes place outside of Jerusalem. This where you will find God.

The temple (symbolic of religion) is filled with pious attitudes and hypocrisy. The leaders manipulate the truths of God to satisfy their own desires.

They portray Christ without understanding His personality or purposes for believers.

Focus on knowing Christ and leave the works up to Him.

The blood of Christ sets you free to enter the unshakable kingdom of God.

It is not by might nor by power but by My Spirit. Learn to wait upon God!

You will find the Living Christ by faith. Reach out to Him today. He is waiting for you to open the door.

Exiting the cul de sac of life through Jesus!

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:33

The cul de sac is a dead end. God is endless!

At this time God is irate over the immoral conditions of society and the lack of respect for Him.

This is why we are living in a pandemic.

The miracle of God is to save lives. And, this can happen to you today. Salvation is living with God in all the moments of life. Christ is a living reality.

You can have an embracing and vibrant relationship with God today. He is a very approachable God.

God is not an esoteric figure living in the Bible. He is alive and wants to meet you today at your point of need.

God is the source of strength, healing, joy, wisdom, and protection.

God wants to give you a life you cannot achieve on your own.

Christ keeps His promises. You will never find this guarantee in the world.

Come to Christ today and He will share His life with you.

Open your heart up to God seeking His will for your life.

Abandon yourself to God without limitations.

Walk by faith trusting in the promises of God.

Pray for the blood of Christ to cover you.

Invite the Holy Spirit to have authority over your life.

Give praise and thanksgiving to God.

No one can compare to God. He is a living reality!

The perfect place to be with Christ!

“I desire to do your will, my God;
your law is within my heart.” Psalm 40:8

David was desperate when he wrote this Psalm. His life was in turmoil and God seemed to be slow to respond.

David acknowledged his sins were overbearing.

David reached out to God with the words above. In the depth of David’s heart he desired to do the will of God and the laws of God were alive in his heart.

David was in the perfect place with God.

How can you and I get to this place?

Open your heart up to God seeking His will for your life.

Walk by faith trusting in the promises of God.

Ask the Holy Spirit to embed the truths of Christ into your heart.

Pray for the blood of Christ to cover you.

Invite the Holy Spirit to have authority over your life.

Give praise and thanksgiving to God.

He is a resplendent God! Nothing is impossible for Christ.

The handiwork of Christ!

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13

Today God has been speaking to me about a blacksmith. This craftsman forges metals into strong vessels.

God is using the analogy of a blacksmith to help us understand His character.

God creates life similar to forging precious metals into a substance stronger than steel.

The handiwork of Christ has many advantages for a believer. The strength of Christ cannot be found in the world. It comes from Heaven.

Some important attributes about the strength of Christ:

It is eternal.

It is resistant to change.

It is unflappable.

It lasts forever.

It is resolute.

It is infallible.

It is resilient.

The question is how can the handiwork of God transcend into the reality of your life?

The response is to ask Christ by faith (without doubt) and He will fill you with His strength.

Most believers waiver between faith and fear.

If you are anchored to God through the Holy Spirit, the strength of Christ will cause you to be unmovable. And, it will give you peace and joy. This miracle of God will happen regardless of the circumstances in life.

The strength of Christ is oblivious to the worries of life. You are anchored to the indestructible rock of Christ!
