There is hope in Christ for the faint hearted!

“The troubles of today will measure your faith. You have to choose between the Living Christ or taking your chances in the ways of world. My advantage is I have defeated the world and offer you eternal hope.”

Do not not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.” 2 Chronicles 20:15

You and I are backed up against a wall with no way out.

This is very similar to the plight of King Jehoshaphat who was on the verge of becoming destroyed by a multitude of enemy nations.

During severe adversity we become faint hearted and overcome by fear.

The Word from God today is the battle is not yours, it belongs to God.

God has provided a proven method to overcome fear and dismay and it will work for all without any exceptions.

Cast your burdens upon the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken.

This is an act of faith. You are releasing your every fear to Christ and “letting go” completely. You are reaffirming your faith in Christ who has power and dominion over the heavens and earth.

This spiritual truth will immediately bring you hope, strength, and freedom from the troubles of today. The miracle of Christ is He died to fight your battles for you.

Stand still and see the salvation of the Living Christ!

Revival is in the heart of Christ!

My church will become alive in the reality of the Living Christ!

Many will come in My name, saying, I am the Christ and will deceive many.” Matthew 24:5

Do not be dismayed. You will find the truth of God in His Word and through the Holy Spirit.

IMG_1171

This is the word from God for today. Through the upheaval God is orchestrating a powerful revival. This will be like something that has never happened before.

Many will become “born again” believers and there will be an outpouring of signs and wonders by our majestic God.

God is perfect! Rejoice and live on this promise, “My defense is of God, who saves the upright in heart.”

The purpose of Christ in creating upheaval in the world!

But the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart and he would not listen to Moses and Aaron, just as the Lord had said to Moses.” Exodus 9:12

IMG_1168

It is very simple. I am God and there are no other gods. This upheaval is My work. You can choose to worship Me in Spirit and Truth or suffer the consequences.

Unfortunately, this wave of judgment will not change many hearts. People come to me when they are desperate and then revert back to living for self. Look how I afflicted Pharaoh with many plagues. Pharaoh refused to obey Me and I destroyed Him.

I am God and have authority over every aspect of your life. Your destiny is in My hands. Come to Me with an open heart and a genuine desire to know Me.

I am Christ the Lord and there is no one like Me!

The dispensation of justice authored by Christ!

“The days are filled with chaos but they will end in My perfect timing. I died to give you My life. Come to Me through My Spirit and Truth and you will be saved. I am a God of justice!”

So Moses made a bronze serpent, and put it on a pole; and so it was, if a serpent had bitten anyone, when he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived.” Numbers 21:9

There is a strong parallel in the story of Moses and the staff with the bronze snake and the perils of life today.

IMG_1166

The Israelites were God’s chosen people and they spoke against God and complained about their circumstances.

This made God angry and He sent deadly snakes to afflict the people. Many died and the people pleaded with Moses for the mercy of God.

God relented and told Moses to make a staff and mount a bronze snake on top. He told Moses to lift up the staff and tell anyone who had been bitten by a snake to look at the staff and they would be healed.

There is a perfect solution created by God to deal with the troubles of today. It is Christ crucified!

The Cross offers forgiveness for sins and restoration with God. And, the Cross is the source of the resurrected power of Christ.

The Cross will give you everything required to cope with the troubles of life today. You will find mercy, strength, and protection in the Cross.

We have sinned against God and are facing the consequences of our actions. Where sin abounds, the grace of God abounds more. God is merciful!

The staff of Christ is your hope for survival and deliverance! He lives so you can live!

Is Christ really your God?

“This is a time when you have to change your ways if you want to find My mercy and protection. I live by My words.”

The Lord is My shepherd, I shall not want.” Psalm 23:1

This is a time when all have to face God. Is the Lord really your shepherd or is this just a “feel good” thought. Are you willing to die for Christ?

IMG_1165

This statement in Psalm 23 is an affirmation of your faith. You are declaring your substance in life comes from God who looks over you.

Your dependence is on God for your every need and you trust He will fill your cup.

King David lived by the words, “My help comes from the Lord who created the heavens and the earth.” On the brink of disaster or death these words were on his lips. God was a living reality to King David.

When difficulties like today threaten you, most people turn to God in panic pleading for His mercy and deliverance. God responds “Where were you when I blessed you with My goodness?”

God will never be a scapegoat! You cannot blame Him or turn to Him for expediency.

The true believer worships God in Spirit and Truth and accepts Him for who He is. There is no variation or shadow of turning in our great God. He is perfect!

The pathway to restoration with Christ!

“I am a God of restoration. My people will reflect the glory, praise, and honor of who I am. There is no shortcut to knowing Me. Enter through the narrow gate and you will see My greatness and glory.”

Restore us to yourself Lord, that we may be restored” Lamentations 5:21

After being decimated by the hand of God, this was the cry of the Israelites.

IMG_1163

The desire of God is for the Body of Christ to be restored to Him. This will happen to the remnant of Christ through His judgments.

The starting point is you and I have to live out our faith. Talk is deaf to the ears of God. He is looking for those who have a heart for God and worship Him in Spirit and Truth.

He has shaken the foundations of the world to get your attention. And, this is just the beginning of His wrath.

Restoration will come to those who ask God to examine their ways and bring correction.

The restoration of God has nothing to do with religion, works, or laws. The call from God is to know Christ Jesus and to identify with Him through the Cross.

Until you live in oneness with Jesus and experience the suffering, the death, and the resurrected power of the Cross, Christianity will just be a religion practiced on Sundays.

Christ Jesus is the action of the Cross at work in every detail of your life. This is how you will know Christ!

He lives so you can live!

Jesus speaking about the calamities in the world?

Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.” Exodus 14:13

IMG_1162

Walk by faith believing in who I am.

Stay grounded in Me and reject, fear, doubt, and panic.

Believe in Me and I will believe in you.

Take Me seriously, your salvation is in the Cross.

I don’t live in the calamities. Listen for My still small voice.

I keep My promises.

Discover a passion for Christ!

Rest in My greatness. It is not by might nor by power but by My Spirit.

My purposes are perfect.

There is no one like Me!

Grappling with the judgments of Christ!

I will punish the world for its evil,
And the wicked for their iniquity” Isaiah 13:11

Jesus wants to get your attention. He did this with me in a very graphic and agonizing dream last night.

IMG_1161

Christ is creating a world where you will feel stranded and cut off from all help. No matter what you do nothing will work. You will be alone in a sea of chaos.

You can plead with God but He will be deaf to your prayers. As I explained yesterday, you and I have to come clean with God. We have to be grounded in Christ. You cannot look at the circumstances of life. Your only hope is to find your security and comfort in the words of Christ.

The response to Christ is to live by faith and dwell richly in His words. Listen for His voice. This will be your salvation.

There will be powerful signs and wonders in the days ahead as Christ reasserts authority over His church.

How to respond to the challenges of Christ?

“You will find comfort and security in My words. Don’t look anywhere else.”

Is it not from the mouth of the Most High that both calamities and good things come?” Lamentations 3:38

The reality of God is recognizing nothing takes place in the world that hasn’t been decreed by Him. So whether it’s good or bad, He is the author of all things.

IMG_1160

Do you and I have a right to complain when God is punishing us for our sins? He is God and can do as He pleases!

The challenge for a believer is to determine how to respond to the adversities taking place today. Can you accept it is impossible to change God’s mind no matter how hard you pray?

The most important thing you can do today is take as much time as necessary to pray, meditate on the Word of Christ, and listen for the voice of God. Make sure you are grounded in Christ. You have to be certain without any doubt that you are clean with Christ and living in the center of His will.

Your response to a worldwide crisis is to acknowledge God is perfect and seek His correction in your life. Ask God for His mercy and protection.

No believer is cast off by the Lord forever. Though God brings grief, He will show compassion because of His unfailing love!

Seeing Jesus for who He is!

“You can’t take Me at face value. The Holy Spirit will reveal who I am and He will teach you My ways.”

If you knew the gift of God and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink’ you would have asked Him and He would have given you Living Water.” John 4:10

Most believers have a remedial response to the teachings of Jesus. They hear but don’t have a clue what Jesus is really saying!

IMG_1159

Look at the story of Jesus and the Samaritan woman.

Jesus was thirsty after walking for many hours and asked the Samaritan woman at the well for a drink of water.

The woman replied “You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan and we have nothing to do with each other. How can you ask me for a drink?”

This is typical of how you and I respond to God. Jesus speaks to us and we respond with either a lack of understanding or unbelief. And like the Samaritan woman, we create roadblocks to accepting the reality of the words of Jesus.

We try to interpret Jesus from a human perspective when He speaks to us from a heavenly point of view.

Jesus answered the woman, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.”

Jesus is telling the woman she is overlooking the simplistic solution of overcoming thirst with a drink of water from the well. He is directing her to the Son of God who possesses the spiritual remedy to never thirst again.

This woman is still in the dark and replies to Jesus, “You have nothing to draw with and the well is deep. Where can you get this living water? Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did also his sons and his livestock?”

This woman is still trying to deal with Jesus from an earthly point of view. She responds you can’t draw water without a bucket and the well is deep. And, she is questioning the authority of Jesus compared to Jacob who came from the lineage of Abraham and established the well.

Jesus answered her, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again but who ever drinks the water I give them will never thirst because the water I give them will become in them a fountain of water springing up to everlasting life.”

Jesus is reasserting His authority and points the woman to the Living Water which is the life of Christ.

We tend to ask for superficial things when God wants to give us the deeper gifts that come from heaven.

Finally, the woman begins to grasp what is really important in this dialogue with Jesus. She responds to Jesus with formality. “Sir, give me this water so that I won’t get thirsty and have to keep coming here to draw water.”

The woman now understands Jesus is speaking from a godly point of view and she asks for the Living Water.

The point of this narrative is to listen to God but don’t try to interpret His words with the wisdom of man. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you how to compare spiritual things with spiritual.

The apostle Peter when asked by Jesus “Who do people say the Son of Man is?” declared “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”

Jesus responded, “Blessed are you for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood but by My Father in heaven.”
