When life looks hopeless!

When my heart is overwhelmed;
Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.” Psalm 61:2

When all hope has disappeared, this is the perfect time to reach out to the God of eternal life.

I will cry out to God Most High, To God who performs all things for me. He shall send from heaven and save me;” Psalm 57:2-3

The most high and exalted God will meet you today at your point of need and welcome you into His caring arms. He will forgive your sins and restore you to Himself. He will fill you with His love, compassion and mercies.

Your life will go from darkness to light and you will live with God forever. He will send His Spirit to live in you and share the life of Jesus with you. He will give you unlimited strength to meet every challenge in your life.

You heart will overflow with hope because the God who has power and dominion over all things is working on your behalf. No weapon formed against you will prosper!

God lives so you can live! He will overcome every obstacle in your life and defeat your enemies. God can be trusted because He keeps His Word and will never change.

The God who rescued Daniel from the blazing furnace will do for you what you can never do for yourself. He is the author and creator of abundant life. He is a God of miracles!

Thought for the day:

“I am a complete God and lack nothing. Come to Me by faith and I will restore your hope for life. You will see Me for who I am and you will never doubt My greatness and glory. My promises will never fail you!”

Is God an afterthought in your life?

I am a Living God and want to be the essence of your life!

I and My Father are one.” John 10:30

Most people come to God mainly because they want something. They pray for what they want and forget about what God wants.

The priority with God is for you to get to know Him intimately and understand His ways. He wants you to walk in oneness with Him at all times.

IMG_0709
What is most important is your commitment to live with Me by faith! Make your purpose to know who I am.

God does not want to be an afterthought in your decisions. He wants to be a forethought in all your actions and activities.

Walking with God is inviting the Holy Spirit to enter into all your thoughts and living through the mind of Christ.

Take time to ask God what He wants from you. Learn to “Be still and know that I am God.”

Thought for the day:

IMG_0551

Believe in Me for who I am and not for the purpose of getting something from Me. Do you really think if you pray for a fish I will give you a scorpion? I know what you need before you ask. Pray for My will and it shall be given to you.”

The redeeming nature of God!

Jesus has repurchased you with His blood from a life of sin leading to death to live with Him forever!

And have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.” Colossians 3:10

You cannot claim to be a believer unless you are experiencing a radical transition into a new life.

IMG_0697
Redemption is like taking off your dirty clothes and putting on clean clothes. You wear My robes of righteousness.

The process of change with God is continuous for a believer. You cannot hang onto your past, old habits, or your individuality as a new creature in Christ Jesus.

God is at work renewing your thinking patterns, your values, and your perspective on life. He is merging your personality into the personality of God.

God teaches you to live with purity and unselfish motives. You learn to esteem others above yourself.

You recognize how to live in the will of God and experience life filled with the love, joy, and peace of God.

The new creature in Christ Jesus fills the inner void with Living Water and is identified with God through prayer, the Word, and communion through His Spirit.

Thought for the day:

IMG_0551

You must be born again to live with Me and identify with the reality of the cross. You learn to die to self and live for Me. My Spirit will take what belongs to Me and share it with you. I am at work transforming your mind to understand who I am and make you My ambassador to the world.”

From the verge of death to deliverance!

“In my distress I called to the Lord;
I called out to my God.
From his temple he heard my voice;
my cry came to his ears.
The earth trembled and quaked,
the foundations of the heavens shook;
they trembled because he was angry.” 2 Samuel 22:7-8

This Psalm of praise is from David who was on the verge of death and was rescued by the hand of almighty God. David cried out to God in his distress and the Lord moved heaven and earth to save Him.

Why did God respond so quickly and powerfully to David’s plea for help?

God honored David because he had a heart devoted to serve God and desired to live a life pleasing to Him. David abandoned himself to God and walked by faith with His Redeemer. David said “My help comes from the Lord who created the heavens and earth.”

IMG_0674

David believed the sustenance of life is embraced in this spiritual truth; “In Him, we live and move and have our being.” David pleased God with his unwavering faith even when facing death.

David was far from perfect but he was a man of honor and respect for God and lived a life of godliness and did his best to avoid evil actions.

David suffered through some terrible times but never turned away from God. He always found refuge in his God of salvation.

God is your refuge today and your only hope for life. Turn to almighty God and He will shake the earth to rescue and deliver you from your troubles. He is a God of healing and restoration!

Thought for the day:

“No problem is too big for Me. I conquered death and live today so you can live through Me. Come to Me by faith and believe in My greatness and glory. There is no one like Me!”

The mysteries of the kingdom of God!

God chooses how and when He will appear in your life. Abide in God through the Holy Spirit and you will be a powerful witness for Him wherever life takes you!

“It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:7-8

You can’t touch God for He is holy and righteous and will never associate with sin. He dictates when you can come into His presence. He keeps you at an arm’s distance for your own safety and protection.

IMG_0708
The Spirit brings life and will teach you about Myself.

God sees your human frailties and is at work to convict and refine you with His virtue.

God allows sin to manifest itself in you and in our world for one purpose. He wants to prove life is impossible without Him. You are weak and impoverished but He is perfect. The righteousness of God will come to you by your faith in His promises.

God sees life differently than you and me. His life is eternal and your time on earth is to prepare you to enter His kingdom.

God hates sin but He knows you will never come close to His standards. He lives to forgive and heal you.

God is very jealous! He wants all of you. Abandon yourself to God and center your life around Him with prayer, praise, and His Word.

You can please God by walking in faith and trusting Him for your every need. Your faith is the strongest method of demonstrating your love for God. Faith triumphs your works. It is the pathway to living with God.

You will come to know God through the Holy Spirit. Invite the Spirit to live in your thoughts, emotions, and decision making.

Thought for the day:

“Walk with Me by faith and I will show you the mysteries of the kingdom of God. To be born again you must be baptized by water and the Spirit. My life is eternal and will never fail you.”

How to figure out your life with God?

The danger in planning for the future is compromising the values of God to meet your own objectives.

The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing;
He makes the plans of the peoples of no effect.
The counsel of the Lord stands forever,
The plans of His heart to all generations.” Psalm 33:10-11

How do you plan out your life with God? This is a sticky question and impossible to answer with logic and rational thinking.

The framework for your plan has to be centered on a fear and respect for God and a desire to please Him. God has to be the centerpiece of your life and all things come through Him.

IMG_0706
The Lord is My Shepherd. I shall not want!

Your plan will be successful if you anchor your goals in the Word of God. The Word is perfect and will never change. Your mission statement should be to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness with the knowledge all other things will follow.

Commit your works each day to God and ask the Holy Spirit to be a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your pathway.

An important fundamental of planning with God is to acknowledge Him in all your ways and understand “it is not by might nor by strength but by the Spirit of God.” Your plans will fail unless God goes before you in His perfect timing.

You can make plans however you will find out God’s plan will probably be significantly different than your plan. You will also discover God does not like plans built on worldly wisdom and He does not like to reveal His plan ahead of time.

God wants you to rest in Him and wait for His perfect timing. He calls things that don’t exist as if they did and you have to walk by faith without any evidence or proof.

The best advice is to build your plan through prayer, fill yourself with the Living Word, and listen to the voice of God. Plan with a built in contingency to be open to new directions from almighty God! He loves you!

Though for the day:

IMG_0551
“I am a perfect God and want to bless you with an abundant life. Abandon yourself to Me and I will give you a life filled with My riches. I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can compare to Me”

Why have you forsaken Me?

The disciple must be subservient to His Master. He lives to please God!

Jesus is the Son of God. Jesus was in His Father and His Father was in Him. They were inseparable and lived in oneness with each other.

Why would Jesus cry out these words of abandonment on the cross? Jesus was a human being with feelings and emotions just like you and me.

IMG_0422

Jesus did not want to be tortured and die on a cross. He was without sin and created in the fullness of the Godhead.

Jesus was martyred for sin. He was not abandoned by God but was sent to fulfill the mission of God. It was a very painful end to His journey on earth.

If you are a disciple of Jesus you will cry out to God with the same words. At times will feel abandoned by God and without a purpose.

You have to be martyred or die to self to experience the resurrected life of Jesus and to bring His life to others. There is no other way to salvation.

God will look at you and determine how you must die to self to serve His purposes. He knows you better than you know yourself. God has to get self out of the way so the fullness of His life will abide in you.

The disciple of Jesus has to be totally committed to doing the will of God and this has to take precedence over his own desires. He lives for God!

Thought for the day:

IMG_0551

He who is without sin can throw the first stone at the adulteress. My purpose is to forgive sin and set people free. You have to be filled with My heart of love and compassion to be My disciple.”

How to recover from the afflictions of life?

Ask God to fill you with Himself today. He is your only hope for life. He lives so you can live!

“Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
But the Lord delivers him out of them all.” Psalm 34:19

Life brings many troubles! And, if you walk with God you will suffer from a broken heart and feelings of guilt and remorse over your past.

As a believer, God’s eyes are continually looking over you and He hears your deep cries. God lives in you and will never leave you.

Reach out to God! Confess you sins, cry out for help, and trust the most high and exalted God to deliver you. He keeps His Word!

Jesus lived on this earth and experienced all of your feelings. He is just like you except He is without sin. He understands those with a broken heart and the burden of feelings over the past. He knows you better than you know yourself.

Come to God by faith believing He will heal you and restore you to Himself. Do not doubt His greatness! He is your hope for the future and will deliver you from all your afflictions. Great is the Lord and worthy of your praise!

Thought for the day:

IMG_0551

“I am a God of healing and deliverance for My people. If you obey My voice and keep My covenant you will be a special treasure to Me above all the people for all the earth is mine.”

The testing of God is to refine you with His nature!

The Lord is in His holy temple,
The Lord’s throne is in heaven;
His eyes behold,
His eyelids test the sons of men.” Psalm 11:4

If you are serious about God, you will be tested to the ends of the earth. God looks into your heart and wants your total and complete allegiance to Him regardless of your circumstances.

The testing is to prove you will walk confidently with God through the difficult crisis of life. You have to learn to develop patience and deep roots into the heart of God so nothing will cause you to stumble or waiver in your faith.

God wants you to develop a resilient faith in Him! You can wake up today facing a financial disaster, loss of life, or a divorce and praise God for His goodness and faithfulness. God wants you to reach the point where nothing can distract you from Him.

IMG_0705
Nothing is impossible for God! He lives so you can live!

God is looking for your obedience to His voice regardless of the cost to you. With God it is not a matter of logic or rational thinking. When you hear God speak, respond to His command and follow Him.

You and I need the spiritual maturity to wake up each day with this song in our heart; “It is well with my soul.”

The Holy Spirit dwelling inside will give you a deep and comforting assurance you will live with God forever!

Thought for the day:

“My testing will create a man or woman after My own heart. My plan is to create an everlasting bond with you that can never be broken!”

The attempt to impeach Jesus Christ!

“Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is the antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.” 1 John 2:22

Impeachment is the process of removing someone from an important office or position. They are accused, tried, and removed for wrong doing.

The scheme of Satan is to convince you that Jesus Christ should be impeached and removed from all influence in the world. Satan is accomplishing this through subterfuge in many ways. He has influenced the enactment of new laws to replace the existing laws of God. And, he has been successful in creating new societal values which contradict the truths of God.

IMG_0677
Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.” John 14:11

Satan works in a very subtle and devious manner to erode or weaken the truths of God in the body of Christ. For example, the Bible teaches the institution of marriage is between a man and a woman and this relationship will endure forever in the heart of God.

However, religion is accommodating and accepting the new gender definitions in our society. This is an aberration and insult to our mighty God and He will strike down this movement with vengeance and fury.

Satan has been successful in redefining the relationship to God based on a works or “servant mentality” and has denigrated the concept of a faith centered walk with God. If you can do works to appease God, then the value of Jesus is diminished.

Satan hates the Holy Spirit and has convinced organized religion to minimize or take lightly the reality of “Christ living in you”. This is a safe approach for the churches who want to draw you into a doctrine of works and laws. They fear the power of the Holy Spirit to uncover and expose the brainwashing techniques of religion.

God cannot be impeached and His Word will endure forever. Do not buy into the lies of Satan. Your safety net is the Word of God and the indwelling Holy Spirit. He will testify of Jesus and lead you into all truth.

Do not be misled! The antichrist is at work today to deceive you and minimize the deity of Jesus. Accept the word of God without compromise! Jesus is your only hope for life!

Thought for the day:

IMG_0551

“I am an immovable God. My Word is perfect and will never change. Believe in Me and reject the lies of Satan. I have defeated Satan and he is terrified of Me. I saw Satan fall like lightning out of heaven.”
