“The seed that fell on good soil represents those who truly hear and understand God’s word and produce a harvest of thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as much as had been planted!” Matthew 13:23

The world is a threat to believers because of the devious lies of Satan who wants you to reject the truths of God.

You also have to contend with the trials of life and if your roots in God are shallow you will fall into unbelief.

And then you have those who are consumed with wealth and success and God drops out of the picture.

The challenge is how can the seeds of God fall on good soil and multiply abundantly. First, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. So you have to hear and wholly accept the truths of God. There is no place for doubt in the kingdom of God!

For the seeds to grow they require water and nourishment. You have to live by faith trusting God for your every need. Without faith it is impossible to please God!

Develop the discipline of consistent prayer seeking God out for His direction in your life. Talk to God like He is your best friend and be totally open with Him.

Fill yourself everyday with the Word of God. It is alive, powerful and life changing.

Live in oneness with the Holy Spirit and be open to hear His voice. Learn to “Be still and know that I am God”. It is essential to be in contact with the Living God to understand His ways and walk with Him.

“Your only hope is to live through My life dwelling inside you. My Spirit will take the things that belong to Me and share them with you.”

 

 

Coming under the authority of God is simply making a decision to live a life worthy of God.

This decision is a commitment to Jesus Christ, the Son of God. He is the only path to God.

You give up acting in the position of authority and choose to live under the direction of God. This is an everlasting covenant with God and is built on your faith in who He is and His promises to believers.

This is not about laws, works or religion. You make a commitment to a lifelong and personal relationship with Jesus and learn to come into oneness with Him through the Holy Spirit.

The authority of God is for your protection and to guide you into an abundant life.

You were born under sin and it is impossible for you to live for God in your natural condition. Living for self will lead to disaster and death. The Spirit is willing but your flesh is weak. You will fail without God!

Living under the authority of God will give you the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus and He will dwell in you. The Spirit will teach you how to live a godly life and fill you with all of the attributes of God.

The authority of God will transform you into a new creature reflecting the virtue of God. Old things will fade away and all things will become new.

You will have a new beginning to life and death will have no dominion over you!

“Search me, God, and know my heart;
Test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” Psalm 139:23-24

The idea of transparency is inviting the Spirit of God to search inside you and find motives, attitudes or behaviors that are hidden from you and that are not pleasing to God.

The transparent person lives in an undisguised and open relationship with God. There are no restricting walls between you and God and your life is an open book for God to explore and reveal to you.

You really do not know yourself or the depth of your personality. You see only a small view of your personality but God sees all of you.

Transparency with God will convict you of how much you need Him. You will see your weaknesses and human frailties and know in the depth of your heart God is your only hope for life.

The light of God will show you the futility of living for self and your sufficiency will be entirely in almighty God and His promises.

“Come to Me with an openness of heart and I will refine you like pure silver. Your fellowship with Me must be transparent and open to My correction. I am a God of love and compassion and will share Myself with you.”

 

Think of God as a living person with a personality and emotions just like you. He wants to live with you through Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

Make a decision to live for Jesus and death will no longer have dominion over you. The gift of God is eternal life which is about living together with Him everyday of your life. Eternal life is about a robust and abundant life with God.

Come to God by faith and stand firmly on His promises. Trust God without any evidence or proof believing “My help comes from the Lord who created the heavens and the earth.”

The reality of walking with God is a moment by moment engagement with your Creator. He lives in your thoughts, your emotions, and your decision making through the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Living Water gives you a personal and intimate embodiment with your Keeper. God speaks to you and provides you with strength, peace, and wisdom to meet your every challenge in life. You are no longer alone. You have almighty God living in you and going before you to protect you from the perils of the world.

God is perfect and without sin. He is a holy and loving God. You life becomes enriched with His virtue because He forgives your sins and shares His righteousness with you.

God’s purpose is to for you to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. He wants you to center your life around Him. He promises to give you an abundant life, bless the desires of your heart, and give you more than you ask or think.

God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him out. He lives so you can live!

Thought for the day:

“Come to Me by faith. I am a living God and will fill you with My attributes of love, joy, and peace. I will enrich your life and your cup will overflow with My goodness. There is no one like Me.”

 

There is no privacy if you choose to walk with God. The Holy Spirit will infiltrate your thoughts, emotions, and your actions. He will cause you to examine your motives and heart attitudes.

God will show you where you have to “let go” and trust Him concerning the details of your life. You can’t hide secrets or keep parts of your life for yourself. God wants all of you!

You have to give up the right to yourself and become willing to let God crucify your old self so His life can enter into your personality and attitudes.

God wants you to reach the point where you invite Him to live with you in every aspect of your life. The Christ centered life is built on this truth; “In Him we live and move and have our being”.

Privacy must go away and oneness with the Spirit and the scrutiny of God must be welcomed.

“Abandon yourself to Me for who I am! I know you better than you know yourself. I will show you My ways and make you into a new person reflecting My virtue. Do not be afraid to give yourself to Me. I will do for you what you can never do for yourself! I am a God of greatness and glory.”

 

 

 

 

“But as for me, I am poor and needy;
Come quickly to me, O God.
You are my help and my deliverer;
Lord, do not delay.” Psalm 79:5

I believe God is desiring to help those burdened with troubles. You and I are poor and needy and desperately require the help of the Lord.

Come quickly God and meet each one of your people at their point of need!

God put a mighty shield of protection around those who are threatened by attacks from an enemy. Deflect the arrows coming at your people and return them to the sender.

You are great Lord! We rejoice in your saving power and the knowledge you will rescue and deliver us from our troubles. You are a faithful God and true to your Word!

As we wait upon you God, help us to cast our burdens upon your shoulders knowing you will comfort the downcast and sustain the impoverished. Your yoke is easy and your burden is light!

There is no one like you Lord! You can be trusted through the end of time! You are my rock and my fortress!

My help comes from the Lord who created the heavens and the earth!

“Come to Me all who are weary and troubled. I will be your buttress of support and deliver you from your adversities. Walk with Me by faith and I will never disappoint you.”

 

 

“I was sought by those who did not ask for Me; I was found by those who did not seek Me.” Isaiah 65:1

The amazing quality of God’s love is that He found you and it was not of your own volition.

You live without realizing the deep hole in your soul and then God comes along and meets you through His Word.

The Word of God is alive and powerful and pierces the depth of your heart. Your response is to hear and accept the Word by faith. There is no other way to come to God.

You and I do not deserve God; He is a gift that cannot be earned or replaced and you will never be worthy of God.

God wants your total allegiance to Him whether life is good or gloomy. Judge God by His Word never by your circumstances.

The Word will set you free and draw you into the abundance of the life of Jesus. You will meet the Living God and understand in the deepest part of your heart nothing can ever replace Him.

He will become your hope and strength to sustain you through life.

Thought for the day:

“I am a very jealous God and do not want to share you with anyone else. Make your priority to live for Me. Come to Me by faith in My Word. I call things that don’t exist as if they did. I live so you can live. Let Jesus Christ be praised!

 

“God is a righteous judge, and a God who feels indignation every day.” Psalm 7:11

God woke me up last night with His words of righteous indignation over the condition of His people. Here are some of His thoughts:

I will discover their secret parts. Nothing is hidden from Me.

They do not fear or respect Me.

They live as if there is no God!

They have no concern for the recourse of their actions and they have deaf ears to My voice.

They attempt to soft pedal or replace My laws and reject My eternal truths.

I am not a God who can be walked on like a door mat!

You and I need to take these words to heart and ask God to search us and reveal our sins. He is our only hope for life!

Thought for the day:

“Return to Me and be saved! I am your only hope for redemption to God! Respect Me for who I am and honor Me with your words and actions. There is no one like Me.”

 

“Now to the one who works, wages are not credited as a gift but as an obligation. However, to the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness.” Romans 4:4-5

If you can receive this spiritual principle into your heart you will experience a tremendous release of freedom in your relationship with God and you will cease from striving to please God through works.

You have to understand God is under no obligation to bless you through your good works, religious activities, sacrifices, or offerings. They are of no value in finding the righteousness of God.

God does not want your works; He wants your trust in Him. Your faith will bring the righteousness of God into your life.

Faith is the substance of the things you hope for and the evidence of these things rest hidden in God. He will bring these things into your reality by your steadfast faith in Him.

Abraham believed God without any evidence or proof. He walked by faith trusting the voice of God. He was rewarded by God and became the Father of many nations and his descendants were like the stars in the sky.

God gave Abraham a son and blessed Him with wealth. This all took place because Abraham believed God would keep His promises to Him.

You and I can have the same experience with God. Believe in God, listen for His voice, and follow Him without hesitation or doubt.

“The gift of God is eternal life. You can receive the fullness of My life by your faith in My Word. I am a God of greatness and glory and I want to give you more than you ask or think!”

 

 

 

Nothing can shake God or cause Him to change His ways. He is perfect, irreparable and lacks nothing! He lives so you can live!

God cannot be altered but you and I have to adjust to living in His ways. This can only be accomplished by placing your life in His hands and seeking Him out by faith for your every need.

It’s not so much about whether you do right or wrong but your heart desire to please God with your every thought and action. It is inevitable that you will fail now and then. Jesus died on the cross for your humanity and His purpose is to redeem you from sin and restore you to Himself.

God does not punish you! He rescues you from sin and heals you from your misgivings. Where sin abounds, grace abounds more!

You have no natural ability to live a life worthy of God. The righteousness of God will come to you through your faith in your Redeemer.

The secret to walking with God is fulfilled in this spiritual truth; “The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus will set you free from the law of sin and death.” The life of Jesus lives in you in the essence of the Holy Spirit. Invite the Holy Spirit to draw you into oneness with God as you walk through life. He will convict you of sin and show you the pathways of God.

You and I are a broken and impoverished people. The most high and exalted God is your only hope for restoration and deliverance from sin.

“I am a living God and your only hope for life. Your unchecked sin will lead to destruction and misery. I died to purify you with My virtue. Come live with Me and I will show you Myself.”
