“And being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.” Romans 4:21

Abraham was given awesome promises from God. He was told he would be the father of many nations and his descendants would be like the stars in the night.

God made this everlasting covenant with Abraham and all of his seed. (The seed refers to all those who come to God by faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God.)

In looking at Abraham, you can see when he heard the voice of God he did not waver in unbelief. Abraham took God at His Word and believed without compromise.

Abraham was strengthened in faith and gave glory to God. He was fully convinced that what God promised, He was also able to perform.

What is truly amazing about this encounter between God and Abraham is he was willing to give up almost everything in his life to follow God. He had to give up his homeland, inheritance, and security to follow the voice of God.

This is the crux in your relationship with God! Are you fully convinced Jesus Christ will keep His every promise to you?

How can you reach this point of unwavering faith?

You have to come to a face to face meeting with God and experience His glory and greatness. This meeting can only take place when you accept Jesus by faith and make a personal declaration to live for Him. There is no other way.

The act of abandonment to God will bring the life of Jesus into your reality. You will experience the glory and power of God and understand He is your only hope in life.

“Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. When you hear My voice accept My Words by faith without wavering or questioning My abilities. I am a perfect God!”

 

“It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23

It is so easy to be consumed by the ways of the world. The world is built on the principles of wealth, power, pride, greed and living for self. You can be crushed by the powerful and wicked ways of others.

Praise God you and I wake up each day belonging to a loving and merciful God who is overlooking your needs and protecting you from the dangers of the world.

The compassions of God come to you even when you stumble and get sidetracked from His ways. God is there with open arms of love and mercies to pick you up and restore you to Himself.

God is faithful to His promises! He stands on the Word of God and never changes. Come to God seeking repentance from sins and a new beginning each day.

God is the only thing you can trust in this world. He will never fail you. Come to God by faith trusting Him for all your needs.

Commit today to God and ask Him to be your light and guide you into His perfect pathway.

“By which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” 2 Peter 1:4

God has burdened me over those living in sexual immorality, practicing vulgar habits, and inviting lustful thoughts and actions.

Jesus did not die in vain and He is the only way to live a healthy and pure life. You cannot coexist with God and live in darkness.

You must turn away from any thoughts, words, or actions that invite sexual immorality. This includes your mobile devices, computers, television and movies, and anything you read or watch.

Ask God to show you anything in your life that is not pleasing to Him. You must remove these things from your life and ask for the blood of Jesus to forgive you for all your sins.

Last night God told me that you and I must be partakers of His divine nature. This is the only way you can live a holy and acceptable life.

As a partaker (participant) of the life of Jesus you can escape the corruption of the world. This requires you to make a commitment to live for Jesus Christ and become one with Him through the Holy Spirit.

Ask the Holy Spirit to baptize you with the life of Jesus and create His life in you!

“You cannot live with Me unless you turn away from all sexual immorality and ask for My blood to cover you for the forgiveness of sins and to cleanse you of all impurities. Sin blunts your feelings and grieves My Spirit. I died to give you the fullness of My life which is your only hope to avoid the corruption of the world.”

 

 

 

“For we walk by faith not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7

God will not reveal what He is going to do in your life but He will reveal Himself to you.

You have to walk by faith drawing upon the attributes of God to sustain you. God will rarely share His purposes for you but He will teach you about Himself and fill you with His life.

God will not allow you to see ahead. You have to trust in the promises of God and believe He calls things that don’t exist as if they did. Walking by faith is living in the reality of God anchored to His Spirit.

Your worth to God is determined by how you live in the ordinary moments of life. You wake up to face another day without a vision or specific direction from God. Pray and seek out God as if this was one of the most important days of your life.

Commit your works to God and pray for His wisdom and strength to prevail in your life today.

Draw near to God even when life seems slow and unexciting. He will teach you about Himself and preserve your going out and your coming in.

You will be surprised how God can turn an uneventful day into a miracle of His abundant life!

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10

The miracle of God is that He takes you from a sinful condition living for self and creates a new person in Christ Jesus.

It is the workmanship of God that transforms you into His personality. God changes your thinking patterns, gives you new values in life, and takes away your bad habits. You have a whole new perspective on life and see things through the eyes of Jesus.

God prepared the way for you to experience this miraculous transformation through the life and death of Jesus Christ. It is the act of the cross that gives you the ability to do His works.

I will refine you like silver and purify you as fine gold!

This precise workmanship of Christ is for one purpose. God wants you to proclaim Jesus Christ to all those in your life. You do this through His Living Water residing inside you. The Spirit of God will fill you with the life of Jesus and work through your thoughts, your actions, and your demeanor. People will see Jesus in you and be drawn to Him.

As a believer, the gospel has to go out and reach those living in darkness. Your responsibility is just to walk through life anchored to the Spirit of God. He will guide you and speak through you.

Pray at all times, fill yourself with the Word of God, and be open to His Spirit! The Living Water will flow out of you and lives will be changed!

“I have come to give you an abundant life and share Myself with you. My purpose for you is to be a light to the world reflecting My renown, praise and honor.”

 

 

“The people of the land have used oppressions, committed robbery, and mistreated the poor and needy; and they wrongfully oppress the stranger. So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one. Therefore I have poured out My indignation on them; I have consumed them with the fire of My wrath; and I have recompensed their deeds on their own heads,” says the Lord God.” Ezekiel 22:29-31

The same evil and abuses against the people reported by the prophet Ezekiel are taking place today. Satan is out to steal, kill, and destroy. The world is filled with evil and corruption.

God is looking for people to stand in the gap and pray for the justice and truth of God to prevail in our world. This sounds like an impossible task but you can be a warrior for God in your own domain.

Ask God to show you any influence of Satan in your life or those around you. Then you and I have to take the words of Jesus and bind the strong man (Satan) so the riches of God will flow into your life.

You can accomplish this by praying with the authority and the blood of Jesus. For example, “I take authority over the deprivation in my life in the name of Jesus Christ and by the power of His blood and I order you Satan to flee from my life. You have no authority over me. I am a child of God and will live with Jesus forever.”

You can also pray that no weapon formed against you will prosper and the words in Malachi 3:11; “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,”

Satan is terrified of the name of Jesus so speak boldly and with confidence. Remember, He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world!

“I have given you the keys to the kingdom of God. Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

 

“Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousnes, and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:33

God is all inclusive! He wants to dwell with you at all times.

The tendency is to utilize an “off and on switch” in your relationship with God. You let Him in at times and close Him out at other times. Sort of like shadow boxing!

God wants you to build continuity with Him and invite Him to live in every aspect of your life. He wants you to eliminate the gaps where you close Him out. The gaps are where you will encounter problems because you are trying to live on your own.

The Living God wants to have a personal and intimate relationship with you. He wants to share His characteristics with you—greatness, power, glory, victory, and majesty.

He wants to protect you and enrich the quality of your life. He wants to give you wisdom, strength, and joy and live with you moment by moment. He wants to defeat your enemies, heal and restore you, and favor you in the workplace.

You have nothing to fear when you walk with God. Jesus will do for you what you cannot do for yourself. He is the way, the truth, and the life!

You integrate the Living God into your life by making a decision to live for His Son and inviting the Holy Spirit to take authority in your life. It is that simple! You abandon yourself to God and receive the gift of eternal life. You ask His Spirit to pour the life of Jesus into you.

God lives with you at all times through the Holy Spirit. He dwells in your mind, your emotions, and your decision making. He guides your footsteps and goes before you!

“I am not a one dimensional God. I am complete and lack nothing. Approach Me with an open heart and a willingness to live for Me. Come into oneness with Me through the Holy Spirit. He will fill you with My life and be with you at all times.”

 

 

“He restores my soul.” Psalm 23:3

I woke up today with a distraught feeling over me. This is a deeply agitated or upset condition.

I believe this feeling is aroused in many believers as you deal with the challenges of life.

God spoke to me that He wants to restore my soul and yours today.

Your soul is the inner most part of your being and indicates your relationship with God. You and I need to have a healthy soul or we will just stumble through life.

The first step is to ask God to pour His blood over you and forgive you for all your sins. Pray to God to create in you a clean heart and purify your motives.

Ask God to take away the distraught feelings and replace them with the joy of the Lord.

Ask God to restore your faith in Him. He is the first and last God. There is no other God. He is your Creator and has power and dominion over all things. He is an omnipotent God and rules above all things.

Ask God to breathe His life into you and give you strength and renewed hope in His powerful promises.

Thought for the day:

“I am a God of redemption and restoration. Come to Me by faith recognizing My power and authority. Your hope in Me will take away a distraught spirit and discontentment over the circumstances in life. Keep your eyes on Me and I will raise you up to live with Me.”

 

 

 

 

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” Matthew 7:13-14

The idea of bartering is you agree to do something in return for receiving something from another person.

In the context of God, you ask Him to do something for you and you agree to give something back to Him for fulfilling your request. There is always a contingency involved in bartering.

This practice will not work with God. He has nothing to give back to you. God has emptied Himself by sending His Son to the earth to die for you. You can only come to God by faith and ask Him to fill you with the life of His Son.

There is fullness for you in the person of Jesus Christ. You are complete and lack nothing.

The gift of eternal life is the finality of the love, compassion, and mercy of God. This gift encompasses all you need to lead an abundant life.

When you make a decision for Jesus you become a new person and old things fade away and all things become new. You no longer belong to the world. You are an heir of God and entitled to all of His promises.

God places the Holy Spirit to live in you and this is your source of strength, wisdom, and protection. You have the fullness of the life of Jesus residing in you and He wants you to live in oneness with Him.

Come to God by faith! He wants to give you more than you ask or think!

“The world endorses the practice of bartering to get what you want. I offer you unconditional love and acceptance into My kingdom. The gift of eternal life is free and without compromise.”

 

 

 

“For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, Now I will arise,” says the Lord; “I will set him in the safety for which he yearns.” Psalm 12:5

This is a promise from God to those who are poor, maligned, and suffering with unfulfilled needs. God has heard your cries and will respond swiftly with justice, peace, and restoration.

God will deliver you into the safety for which you have so desperately pleaded of Him. In the past, there has been silence from God but this is a new beginning for the remnant of believers who walk with God. They will experience powerful signs and wonders and see God perform mighty works for His people.

The Word from God is “reclamation” of the body of Christ. Where there has been suffering there will be joy and praise to God. The deprivation will be replaced with an abundance of the goodness of God.

The body of Christ will be reestablished as a “set apart” people reflecting the renown, praise, and honor of our most exalted God.

The Word of God is priceless and can be treasured above all things. God keeps His Word forever!

“I have seen the injustice and suffering of My people. I will do something that has never been done before. I will be glorified and exalted for who I am. My people will be restored and will praise Me for My greatness and majesty. I am a faithful God!”
