“Abide in Me, and I in you.” John 15:4
This is the most difficult aspect of walking with God. It is learning to approach life from the point of view of God and living through Him.
Self-efficacy is the opposite of living with God. This attitude reflects confidence in the ability to exert control over one’s own motivation, behavior, and social environment. You must ask God to remove this influence from your personality and behaviors. God alone is your only hope!
You cannot attain the Living God through an intellectual process. You have to give up your life and individuality and come into oneness with God.

When you let go and live with God, your individuality disappears and the personality of Jesus flows into your life.
The challenge is to avoid living from a humanistic point of view. Come to God and ask Him to live through you with His wisdom, strength, and joy. Learn to center your life around this spiritual truth “In Him we live and move and have our being.” Invite the Holy Spirit to be a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your pathway.
Walking with God is about experiencing a lot of ups and downs. You get into a harmonious union with God and all is well but then the troubles of the world overcome you and you slip back into living on your own.
It is very difficult work to stay in oneness with God but when you stumble ask God to pick you up and restore you to Himself. He will never leave you!
Thought for the day:

“You have to believe I am the author of life and will do for you what you cannot do for yourself. Live by faith in My greatness and glory and seek My will in your life. My yoke is easy and My burden is light. Learn to live moment by moment with the Son of God and I will breathe My life into you.”
