The promise of God to His people!

Behold, I am coming soon!

For the day of the Lord upon all the nations is near;
As you have done, it shall be done to you;
Your reprisal shall return upon your own head.” Obadiah 1:15

IMG_0320

God is coming very soon and His presence will be felt by all. He is coming to render justice and reestablish His kingdom here on earth.

The enemies of the Lord will be destroyed and they will burn in flames. Nothing will be unscathed.

The retribution of God will bless those who walk in His ways and curse those who deny God and live as prideful people

God will shake the body of Christ like never before and many heads will fall. He will create a new order in His church and it will belong to Him.

There will be a new holiness in the body of Christ. Religion will crumble and believers will walk by faith and live in oneness with God through the Holy Spirit. They will be doers of the Word and live in New Testament reality.

The Word of God will be cherished and honored by all. The white washing of God’s truth will come to an end. There will be no more compromising the truths of God!

The remnant of God’s people will be set free and restored to prosperity. What has been taken away from them will be returned.

The erosion, waste, and bleakness will be changed into a thriving and vibrant life for believers. They will see God fill their cup with His overflowing goodness.

The “born again” remnant will be a fire for God. They will live and move and have their being in Christ Jesus.

They will become a pillar of strength and reflect the glory and radiance of God. They will bring counsel, execute judgment, and reach out to the poor and needy. They will be a powerful witness and light for Jesus Christ.

The hand of the Lord will create a highway of holiness and many will walk down this path proclaiming the glory, greatness, and excellence of our mighty God!

Thought for the day:

“I am a God of salvation! I will raise up My people and they will be My holy ones. Many will come to Me and receive the gift of eternal life. I will restore My church and all the glory will come to Me.”

The unmitigated truths of God!

There is no margin of error with God. His ways are perfect!

I am the Lord, I do not change.” Malachi 3:6

IMG_0639

The definition of unmitigated is “absolute, perfect, or complete”.

God is perfect and His truths are absolute and complete. There is no room for interpretation or tempering the Word of God. You cannot add or take anything away from God.

The words of the Lord are pure words like silver refined in a furnace of earth purified seven times. God keeps His Word. It is impossible for Him to change.

God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. You and I have to approach God through His Word. This is where you will find truth and an abundant life.

God is a Spirit and you must approach Him through both His written Word in the Bible and His voice speaking directly to you through the Holy Spirit.

God lives in and through His Word so you and I have to let the Word of Christ dwell richly in you with all wisdom and understanding. Ask His Spirit to illuminate the truths in the Bible and show you how to live them out in your life.

Our most holy God also wants to personally engage you through His Spirit. He lives in you and wants to share the life of Jesus with you and encourage, correct, and guide you into His perfect paths.

If you try to walk with God and reject His voice you will be lost and living in a dry and empty existence with your Keeper.

Our God lives!

Thought for the day:

IMG_0551

“I never change! Come to Me and accept My Word without compromise. You will come to know Me intimately through My Spirit. He will teach you all things and lead you into My perfect pathway.”

Living with God through the storms!

“There is no problem to big for Me. You will find Me in the middle of your troubles. I have overcome the world and will deliver you with My mighty power and glory.”

IMG_0638

“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

As a believer, you and I want to have a peaceful and smooth life void of troubles. Unfortunately, this idea runs counter to the teachings of Jesus.

Jesus did not come to give you a peaceful life. He came to give you His strength and peace in the midst of trials and tribulations.

It is the trials of life that will teach you how to become an overcomer through the life of Jesus. You cannot really grow with God unless you endure the burdens of life and turn to God for His Living Water to fill you and sustain you through the difficult times.

Although this is difficult to accept, you and I should praise God when troubles come our way. They create an opportunity to go deeper with God and find His love, mercy, and truth.

Today, seek out the Living God and place your burdens before Him. He lives in the moment and will give you the strength, wisdom, and joy to overcome and have a beautiful day. He is above all things!

Thought for the day:

IMG_0551

“Let not your heart be troubled. Come to Me and I will give you rest. My strength is made perfect in your weakness. You can overcome all things through My life. I live so you can live.”

The most precious gift of God!

“Lean not to your own understanding. Come to Me and I will show you My perfect wisdom! There is no one like Me.”

IMG_0631Happy is the man who finds wisdom,
And the man who gains understanding;
For her proceeds are better than the profits of silver,
And her gain than fine gold.
She is more precious than rubies,
And all the things you may desire cannot compare with her.
Length of days is in her right hand,
In her left hand riches and honor.
Her ways are ways of pleasantness,
And all her paths are peace.
She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her,
And happy are all who retain her.” Proverbs 3:13-18

God is the source of perfect and precious wisdom for those who seek Him out. This wisdom comes from the Father of Lights who wants to protect you and give you more than you ask or think. This wisdom is not earthly it comes from Heaven.

There is nothing more important than seeking the wisdom of God. This should be your first priority in life and come before anything else. Build your life around the wisdom of God!

The wisdom of God will bring prosperity and length of days. This will happen because you are seeking God with all your heart and making Him the centerpiece of your life.

The wisdom of God will bring joy and peace into your life. This happens because God lives in you in the essence of the Holy Spirit and you come into oneness with Him.

The challenge is to find the wisdom of God and appropriate this priceless commodity into your life. You will find the perfect wisdom of God through prayer, the Word of God, and listening to His voice.

God will pour out His wisdom on those who have faith in Him and look to Him for their every need. Your unwavering faith in God will open the gates of Heaven and His wisdom will generously flow into your life.

The wisdom of God is a fountain of life and will provide you with an abundance of the blessings of God.

Thought for the day:

IMG_0551

“I am a God of wisdom for My people. Come to Me by faith and I will shower you with My wisdom which is filled with unending love, gentleness, and compassion. I will give you what you cannot find in yourself or through the world.”

The biggest hindrance to walking with God?

“There is a way that seems right to a man, but it is the way of death. My ways for you are perfect and I will never fail you.”

But My people would not heed My voice,
And Israel would have none of Me.
So I gave them over to their own stubborn heart,
To walk in their own counsels.” Psalm 81:11-12

IMG_0636

The biggest hindrance to walking with God is a recalcitrant spirit. This is an inner attitude that refuses to recognize the authority and discipline of God. It is acting in a stubborn, headstrong, rebellious, or defiant manner. It is an attitude that “I am in charge and I know what is best for me”.

Most Christians find it relatively easy to make a decision for Jesus. They see the benefit of eternal life and the wonderful qualities of God but they tend to stop there. Or, they let God into a little bit of their life.

They tend to define the parameters that God is allowed to dwell in their life. Prayer, church, and a small group are usually acceptable but abandonment to God goes way too far. It is out of the comfort zone.

You can’t call yourself a “born again” believer unless you are experiencing a radically different life. You have to be a new creature in Christ Jesus and living a life where old things have faded away and all things have become new. You have a new perspective on life and see things from a spiritual point of view. You think and act differently!

You have a heart attitude to live for God and a willingness to be obedient to His calling in your life.

God chose you before you were born and you belong to Him. And, you had nothing to do with this decision.

You have no right of ownership in this relationship. God leads and you follow. This is the only way you will experience the reality of the Living God and the fullness of His life.

Thought for the day:

IMG_0551

“Come to Me and I will give you insight on how you express a recalcitrant spirit towards My will. If you let go of these attitudes, you will experience a new freedom and live with a fullness of My love, joy, and peace.”

Calling upon our holy God!

“Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.”

I call on you, my God, for you will answer me;
turn your ear to me and hear my prayer.” Psalm 17:6

IMG_0635

If you call upon the Lord, I will be your Keeper. I will go before you and preserve your going out and your coming in.

The secret is to learn to abide in My presence at all times. Invite the Living God into your mind, your emotions, and your decision making. Take every thought captive to the obedience of Jesus Christ.

When you call upon the Lord, I will probe you about your private parts. Why are you holding parts of your life away from Me? Can’t you see that I know everything about you? You are only hurting yourself when you deny Me to be the Lord of all your life.

You do not have to fear My ways. My plans are to give you an abundant life and bless the desires of your heart. Come to Me with a sense of abandonment. My yoke is easy and My burden is light. I have overcome the world and will fight your battles for you. You can do all things with My unlimited strength. I will make you an overcomer!

Learn to rest in the name of Jesus and have faith in My greatness, power, and glory. Faith is believing that I will do for you what you cannot do for yourself. Faith is trusting Me without any sign or proof.

Come live with Me through My Spirit. He will teach you about Me and fill you with My life.

If you drink My Living Water your life will never be the same. You will see Me for who I am and you will have a hunger and thirst for more of Me. There is no one like Me!

Thought for the day:

IMG_0551

“Easter is about a new beginning! Come and live My resurrected life! I live so you can live!”

The ubiquitous nature of our mighty God!

“Come unto Me and make this Easter a life changing moment. I wait for you with open arms and a heart filled with love and compassion. There is no one like Me!”

“Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.” Hebrews 4:13

IMG_0634

The definition of ubiquitous is existing or being everywhere at the same time.

God is everywhere. He has no boundaries!

God speaks to you and fills you with His strength while at the same time He is healing someone in the Middle East. Or, raising a believer in Southeast Asia from death back to life to live with Him forever.

God is with you while you are sleeping, in your workplace, and with your children and spouse. He never leaves you or your family!

God is in your past, in this very moment of you life, and in your future.

God knows you better than you know yourself. He is an omniscient God and knows your every thought before you wake up today.

God sees everything! Nothing is hidden from Him.

God is alive and wants to give you more than you ask or think!

Thought for the day:

IMG_0551

“The world is My playground. I oversee all things and protect My people. I am everywhere and live without limits. Where sin abounds My grace abounds more! I am a loving and kind God!”

The reclamation plan of our mighty God!

“The body of Christ has become callous and filled with wastefulness. My Spirit will not dwell with you unless you repent and turn away from religion.”

God spoke to me yesterday about his plan of reclamation for the body of Christ.

The definition of reclamation is claiming something back or reasserting a right. God plans to reclaim His sovereignty over the body of Christ. The glory and light of His holiness has been diminished by religion and false teaching. There are major cracks in the foundation of God’s church!

We have become a people of works laboring to please Him through religious activities, sacrifices and offerings. And, we have whitewashed His truths and compromised His values.

This is a mockery to God. Do you really think I need your help? I am a God of greatness, power, glory, victory, and majesty. Come to Me with an open heart praising Me for who I am.

I am not interested in your pious attitude! Worship Me in Spirit and Truth and come to know Me through My Son. You cannot satisfy Me except through your faith in My name. Faith is believing in Me for your every need and rejecting the ways of the world.

I am building a kingdom of believers who walk with Me by faith and know Me personally through My Spirit. My people will live and move and have their being in Me.

I am looking for people who are empty and lacking and understand their only hope is in Me. I abhor the sanctimonious nature of religion. Without Me you can do nothing! The glory belongs to Me!

My people will live by “It is not by might, nor by strength but by My Spirit.” Easter is coming! Celebrate My greatness and sacrifice for you. I can do for you what you can never do for yourself.

I will restore My house and it will be filled with My glory and My people will fall down on their knees to worship Me in Spirit and Truth.IMG_0551

There is no one like Me!

Trying to play God!

God is looking for your obedience, not your interpretation of right and wrong!

Is it right for you to be angry about the plant?” Jonah 4:9

IMG_0362

This was God’s response to Jonah’s attitude about the ways of God.

He was angry that God relented and did not destroy the people of Nineveh.

And then Jonah was angry over the plant that God provided to shelter and comfort him.

Jonah was given an assignment by God. At first he refused to go to Nineveh and tried to run away. He was convicted by God and repented while inside a whale.

Jonah was finally obedient to God and traveled to Nineveh and proclaimed the message of God. This is where he should have stopped, returned home praising God, and left the results up to God.

Jonah believed that he knew better than God how to deal with Nineveh. He wanted to punish them for their wickedness!

God works in mysterious ways! He gives and He takes! God rules with justice that you and I cannot understand.

You have to accept God for who He is and be obedient to His calling. When God calls you to action, do as instructed and then leave the results up to Him. You cannot second guess God! He is perfect.

The provisions of God are a gift to you. They may be something simple like the plant that comforted Jonah, a sunny day, or enjoying the companionship of a friend.

Be thankful in all circumstances! Let God be God. He knows precisely what He is doing!

Thought for the day:

IMG_0551

“You cannot understand My ways. Learn to be thankful giving Me praise for both the good things and your troubles. Come before Me with respect and honor and accept that I alone have power and dominion over the heavens and earth. I am a perfect God!”

When God won’t open the door!

“Don’t bother me. The door is already locked, and my children and I are in bed. I can’t get up and give you anything.” Luke 11:7

IMG_0630

Jesus tells this story about a man who is completely rejected by his friend and left out in the cold. This sounds like a cruel action and unlike the loving nature of Jesus but it is the reality of our great God.

At times, you will knock on God’s door and He won’t open it for you. In fact, it seems like He is responding “Go away and don’t bother me”.

This happens to all who walk with God and is not a reflection that you are doing anything wrong. Actually, you are probably seeking God out to the best of your ability and pleasing Him with your actions.

When this scenario happens it causes anger, frustration and confusion. What is going on with God?

You and I have to realize this is not a mistake on God’s part or punishment for something you have done wrong. God is pruning and refining you for bigger things.

Your friendship with God won’t change his mind or cause Him to open the door but your perseverance will get His attention.

So when you go through a season of a spiritual void persevere with praise, prayer, and live in God’s Word. Keep in mind, He plans to give you more than you ask or think.

After this story, Jesus goes on to say “Ask and it will be given to you”. Keep knocking. God loves you!

Thought for the day:

IMG_0551

“My ways are perfect. At times you cannot understand My actions and I just want you to walk by faith believing that I have your best intentions in My mind. I am a God who rewards those who persevere in My name.”
