The life changing nature of God!

Thought for the day: “Come to Me and I will do a mighty work in you. I will refine you into pure gold and you will be My witness to the world.”

That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:9-10

This simple prayer spoken from the depth of your heart will change you into a new person regardless of your age, past sins, or the circumstances in your life.

When you reach out to God this causes new life to be born in you. God breathes His life into you heart, soul, and mind. This is the gift of eternal life which begins when you make a decision for Jesus.

God will never coerce you to come to Him and He will not strive with your spirit of living for self or rebellion against Him. You have to invite God willingly into your life.

When you speak this prayer you become a new person in Christ Jesus and old things fade away and all things become new. This amazing transformation into a new person happens when God places the Spirit of Jesus Christ inside you. Your old self is crucified with Jesus on the cross. You are now a new creature in Christ Jesus and an heir of God.

You have Jesus in the essence of the Holy Spirit dwelling in you and He wants to be your best friend. He wants to share Himself with you and empower you with His attributes. He becomes your source for strength, wisdom, protection, and the joy of the Lord.

God created you in His image but you are an incomplete person until you receive the gift of eternal life. At this point, God begins the process of refining you into His personality. God knows you much better than you know yourself and He begins to prune away bad habits and ungodly thinking patterns. This is the handcrafted work of God. You just need to be yourself and learn to be compliant to His voice.

The greatest feature of walking with God is the knowledge that you have Jesus living in you and He has power and dominion over all things. He wants to fight your battles for you and help you with all your challenges. It is not by might nor by strength but by the Spirit of God.

You no longer have to rely on self because He who is in you has overcome the world. He is the perfect gift for Christmas!

No problem is too big for Me!

Thought for the day: “Be one with Me through My Spirit. I desire to be in relationship with you at all times. You can trust Me for your every need. No problem is too big for Me. I will never disappoint you.”

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

IMG_0517

If you believe in Jesus, the Son of God, you can be confident that He is with you at all times. You cannot see God but He will never leave you. The words above came directly from the mouth of God and were spoken to Joshua as he was given the responsibility to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land and defeat their enemies.

The miracle of walking with God is the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of life in Christ Jesus lives in you and He is your conduit to God.

The Spirit is your source of strength and courage. You do not have to be afraid or discouraged because you have the promise from God that He will be with you wherever you go.

God wants you to be obedient to His voice and keep His commandments. This is not burdensome or difficult. You have the mind of Christ so learn to be still and listen for His voice.

You keep His commandments by making Him the center of your life and seeking God out through praise, prayer, and His Word.

God is a Spirit and we must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. Let the Word of Christ dwell richly in you. The Word is alive and powerful and you can do all things through Christ Jesus who gives you the strength.

God is a very jealous! He wants all of you. Abandon yourself to Him and you will experience the living God! He wants to give you more than you ask or think!

The indispensable nature of God!

Thought for the day: “I am above all things, through all things and in all things. There is no one like Me.”

Guide me in your truth and teach me,
for you are God my Savior,
and my hope is in you all day long.” Psalm 25:5

IMG_0516

You were born in the image of almighty God. However, you came into the world void of the essence of God. You have an empty hole inside you that can only be filled by God Himself.

You were born to be in relationship with God. He wants you to live and move and have your being in Him.

God is indispensable to your existence and you cannot survive the world without Him. He brings life to you through His indwelling Spirit.

God can do for you what you can never do for yourself. He will fight your battles for you and give you His strength to conquer any challenge in life.

The promises of God will come to you by placing your faith in Him for your every need and living with a fear and respect for our awesome God.

Come to God with a genuine desire to do His will in your life and to admit your failures and inadequacy. This will get His attention!

He alone is worthy of your praise!

The unsearchable riches of Jesus Christ!

Thought for the day: “My gifts are eternal and My purposes for you are perfect! I can do for you what you can never do for yourself.”

That I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ” Ephesians 3:8

IMG_0514

Something “unsearchable” means you cannot identify or locate it. This definition applies to the riches of Jesus Christ. The unsearchable riches are hidden with Jesus Christ and are released to you a little bit at a time as you grow into spiritual maturity with our majestic God.

The eye cannot see, the ear cannot hear, and the heart cannot understand what God has planned for those who love Him. This is how great is our God.

The riches of Jesus provide awesome mountain top encounters with the glory and majesty of God, spiritual blessings and gifts, and an understanding of the mysteries of the living God.

The riches of Jesus will shower you with material blessings from a God who desires to give you more you than ask or think. He wants to bless the deepest desires of your heart.

He knows you better than you know yourself and His gifts are perfect and are delivered at the perfect time.

You cannot grasp the riches of Christ because He thinks and acts differently than you. He is at work at this very moment preparing for you to enter into His handcrafted plan which is filled with the incomparable riches of Christ.

There is nothing on earth that can compare with His riches which come to you directly from heaven. Jesus loves you and called you to Himself before you were even born.

He is the perfect gift from God!

The fear of the Lord is your key to a victorious life!

Thought for the day: “There is no one like Me. I raise people from the dead back to life.”

And no one could withstand them, because fear of them fell upon all people.” Esther 9:2

IMG_0512

This is an amazing story in the Book of Esther illustrating God’s favor upon His chosen people. The Jews lived in captivity in a foreign country and were on the verge of becoming destroyed by a plot conceived by Haman, who was appointed as the most powerful servant of the king.

This is a story of twisted motives, deception, and a king who enjoyed a lavish lifestyle and lacked godly wisdom.

God raised up Esther, a young Jewish lady without a mother or father, to become Queen and favored her and Mordecai, her uncle, to save the Jews and to destroy all their enemies while living in a country hostile to their beliefs.

This story is not about a chapter in history it is alive today. If you are a believer, the power and anointing of God is over you. God can do great things through you regardless of your place in society. Nothing is impossible with God.

Walk with God and the fear of the Lord will fall upon all those around you. If God is for you, who can be against you.

The underlying truth in this story is to keep your motives pure and honor almighty God. You can only do this by submitting yourself to God with a desire to do His will.

No one can compare to God. He is indestructible! So the most important thing you can do is love Him with all your heart and be obedient to His voice. Seek God out through praise, prayer, and His Word.

Become one with God and He will raise you up to destroy evil and do powerful things for His kingdom. He who is within you is greater than he who is in the world!

Don’t settle for mediocrity with God! He wants to do mighty things through you. He is a God of overflowing goodness!

Discover the mighty power of God!

Thought for the day: “Fall on your knees and praise Me. There is no one like Me.”

Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised” Psalm 48:1

IMG_0424

There is no one greater than God. He deserves your praise and honor. He is unlike anyone else and reigns in Heaven.

God created the heaven and earth and every living being. He has power and dominion over all things. He created you in His image and wants to bless you abundantly. He wants to give you more than you ask or think.

This Christmas it is a time to recognize that God alone is worthy and to come to His Son seeking forgiveness for your sins. You will never match up to God and are at His mercy. He wants to forgive your sins and restore you to Himself.

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. He is the only conduit to God. You can touch God through His Son. This can only happen when you reach out by faith and make Him the centerpiece of your life. Faith is believing in the invisible world of God and depending on Him for your every need.

Jesus wants to live in you and through you. As a believer, you have the life of Jesus dwelling in you in the essence of the Holy Spirit. He is the living Spirit of God and wants to empower you with strength, wisdom, and protection. He wants to be your best friend and have an intimate relationship with you. He has given you the mind of Christ and wants to speak to you and guide you into paths of righteousness.

Everything you need for today is available through the Holy Spirit. Ask and He will fill you with Himself. You can do all things through Christ Jesus who gives you the strength. He is your only hope in life!

How to have the best Christmas ever?

Thought for the day: “My life is a gift to you. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad!

Because I live, you will live also.” John 14:19

IMG_0509

The miracle of Christmas is the birth of Jesus offers new life to you. Jesus was born, lived His life and ministry, and died. However, death was not final to Jesus. He was resurrected by God and is alive today.

The resurrection of Jesus allows you to experience the life of Jesus every day of your life. You can celebrate Christmas today, tomorrow, and forever.

Jesus is in His Father. They are one. If you are a believer, you are in Jesus. This is the miracle of God. Jesus lives in you in the essence of the Holy Spirit. This is the same Spirit that created Jesus in the womb of Mary, His mother.

Jesus is alive and you can live with the fullness of God each day of your life. There is hope in life because of Jesus. He has replaced death with everlasting life for those who believe in His name.

This everlasting life is about living today with the love, joy, and peace of God. It is a revelation that God wants to empower you with wisdom, strength, and protection. He wants to help you overcome every challenge in your life.

You no longer have to rely on self because you have God Himself dwelling in you and He can do for you what you can never do for yourself.

Jesus is the author of abundant life! To experience the life of Jesus, you must seek God out with all your heart. Make Him your priority this Christmas and your life will never be the same!

Where’s the abundance of God?

Thought for the day: “I work from the inside out.”

I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:10

IMG_0508

Really God! This promise from Jesus seems to be very lacking at times. You look around your life and don’t see very many signs of His abundance.

The problem is you’re looking in the wrong places. You have to look inside yourself where Jesus lives in the essence of the Holy Spirit. This is where you will find the fullness of God and experience His love, joy, and peace. Nothing is missing in the Holy Spirit. He is the abundance of God and wants to take what belongs to Jesus and declare it to you.

The gift of God is eternal life and this life wants to manifest Himself through you. He wants to show you His glory and majesty and fill you with wisdom, strength and protection.

Everything begins with God and you must seek Him out through praise, prayer, and His Word. As you develop a oneness with God and a desire to live for Him, your external world will change and all the other things will be added to you.

Remember, God calls things that don’t exist as if they did. So your desires live with God and will come into reality through your faith and devotion to God.

Make God your priority and He will fill your cup!

Living through the strength of Jesus!

Thought for the day: “I can do for you what you can never do for yourself.”

That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man.” Ephesians 3:16

IMG_0507

The richness of God lives in His Son. Jesus is the embodiment of God. You don’t have to look anywhere else for God except through His Son.

God and Jesus are one and the path to God leads through Jesus. There is no other way. Jesus was with God at the very beginning and all things were created through Him.

The riches of the glory of Jesus is your gift from God. He desires to fill you with His strength today. You can receive this strength by faith in the name of Jesus. Ask and you shall receive His strength which is supernatural and comes from the Spirit living within you. This strength will empower you to meet every challenge in your life.

The secret is to understand your human weakness and to draw upon God. His strength is made perfect in your weakness. This is like an acceptance in your heart that it is not by power, or by strength but by His Spirit.

The spiritual man does not strive or depend upon His natural abilities to meet his needs. He rests in God and by faith asks for the Spirit to fill him with all of the attributes of God including strength, wisdom, and protection.

The Lord wants to be a lamp upon your feet and a light unto your pathway. However, you have to ask Him to fulfill this promise in you today.

This requires submitting yourself to the authority of God. It is a recognition that God will give you a better life than you can ever give yourself.

You can do all things through Christ Jesus who gives you the strength!

Are you upsetting God’s apple cart?

Thought for the day: “Walk with Me by faith and I will never disappoint you.”

Then Sarai, Abram’s wife, took Hagar her maid, the Egyptian, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan.” Gensis 16:3

IMG_0502

This story is an example of a man and wife who took matters in their own hands and disavowed the Word of God spoken to them years ago.

God told Abraham that he would have a son born to Him through Sarah, his wife. They were both old and became tired and impatient of waiting so they short circuited God. They found a temporary solution to meet their needs. In effect, they fell into unbelief.

Ishmael was born but he was not the promise from God. When God makes a promise, He keeps it. Sometimes it takes many years for the promise to come to fruition. Moses tended sheep for 40 years before He was called by God to do a mighty work.

The question is not the efficacy of God but how long you will walk by faith trusting God for something when there is no sign of proof or evidence. Abraham and Sarah gave in to the temptation of sin to meet their need for a child.

The problem when you short circuit God is this action will probably lead to suffering and misery. You are upsetting God’s apple cart and taking a short cut.

You will miss out on the fullness of God for something that is very short lived. God’s promises are eternal and will provide an abundance and richness unavailable through worldly actions.

Wait on the Lord and He will strengthen and encourage you! This is the path that will lead to the blessings of God.

Without faith it is impossible to please God!
