“As for God, His way is perfect;
The word of the Lord is proven;
He is a shield to all who trust in Him.” Psalm 18:30

You can’t understand God through human logic or rational thinking because His thoughts and ways are unlike yours. What seems to make no sense to you is perfect with God. So you have to walk by faith without the ability to see ahead.

The plan of God is to perfect you into His image. This plan will lead you through pain and suffering. You will experience setbacks and face many trials and tribulations. The suffering is designed to increase your faith in God, teach you patience, and refine you with the qualities of God.

God wants your undivided devotion to Him. He wants you to look to Him for your every need and reject the ways of the world. To accomplish this, you have to go through the fires of God.

Your life becomes tangled and upside down at times because you live in a world that is not under the authority of God. You face evil influences and attacks from Satan every day of your life.

The world operates on a different set of rules than God. So you have to discern how to navigate through the network of lies and temptations and stay true to God.

It is very difficult to live in the world and not compromise your spiritual values. This is why it is so important to seek God through prayer and fill yourself with the Word of God.

To complicate matters, you have a genetic disposition for sin that can lead you astray if not checked by the Spirit of God.

You also have the natural person you were born with living in you. This person is in rebellion against God and wants to live for self. So you face a conflict every day between living through the Spirit of God dwelling in you or reverting back to your natural person.

Your only hope is to have faith in God and trust that His way is perfect for you. Keep your eyes on God and never look at your circumstances. He will redeem you and shower you with His goodness!

“But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.” 1 John 2:27

Today there are thousands of churches around the world, many religious denominations and sects, and all kinds of interpretations concerning the truths in the Bible. There have been millions of sermons preached and thousands of books and devotionals published proclaiming the message of the gospel.

The question is how do you really know who is telling the truth when it comes to God? The answer is the anointing of the Holy Spirit upon a believer will teach you all truth.

Think of it this way! Jesus lives in you in the essence of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit inside you will explain the truths of God and teach you how to apply them in your life.

Jesus said this in referring to the Holy Spirit “He will take what is mine and declare it to you.”

The Bible can be very difficult to understand because it was written thousands of years ago and was influenced by the culture and religious traditions of ancient times.

The priority of God is not your understanding of the history of ancient times or to approach the Bible from a scholarly point of view. He wants you take the spiritual truths which are alive and powerful and appropriate them in your life.

Jesus told the religious leaders of the day that they could search the scriptures endlessly to find eternal life but they testify of Me. The purpose of the Bible is to introduce you to the person of Jesus Christ and to draw you into a living relationship with Him.

So whether you are studying the Bible, listening to a gospel message, or reading a spiritual book, the Spirit inside you will bear witness to what is true and what is a lie or a distortion of the truth.

You have Jesus living in you and He will lead you into all truth!

Because, indeed, because they have seduced My people, saying, ‘Peace!’ when there is no peace—and one builds a wall, and they plaster it with untempered mortar— say to those who plaster it with untempered mortar, that it will fall. There will be flooding rain, and you, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall tear it down. Surely, when the wall has fallen, will it not be said to you, ‘Where is the mortar with which you plastered it?’” Ezekiel 13:10-12

The future ahead will be turbulent here on earth. God has spoken words of judgment because we have rejected Him and have been seduced by false teaching. There are many violent storms coming our way and they cannot be avoided. No one is immune!

The wall of religion will crumble because it is not built on the Word of God. The wall is built on the false hope of works and sacrifices to please God.

The cornerstone of the church will be built on faith in the person of Jesus Christ and becoming one with God through His Spirit.

You cannot sugar coat the character of God. He is a God of retribution and He blesses and He curses. God never changes and His Word cannot be compromised.

The mortar holding the new church together will consist of fervent prayer, worship of the living God, and walking by faith.

Faith is living out a dependence on God for your every need and standing on the promises of God. Faith looks to God for redemption and never the world.

Faith believes God calls things that don’t exist as if they did! Without faith it is impossible to please God!

You will meet the living God when you abandon yourself completely to Him and have this mindset embedded deep in your heart “Not my will but yours be done”.

“There is a way that seems right to a man,
but its end is the way of death.” Proverbs 14:12

The challenge is you live in a world which is not grounded in God and functions in ways that are not compatible with God. So if you follow earthly practices to satisfy your needs and desires without a union with God you will fail.

Satan has corrupted the world and is out to destroy you. You live in a world that is an enemy to God and you cannot survive without the wisdom and protection of God.

Don’t believe the lies of the world. There is no entitlement or promises from the world. The world offers a myriad of trials and tribulations without any hope for your future.

Imagine waking up everyday and walking through a snake pit that can attack and destroy you at any moment. This is the reality of life on earth.

What seems right to you can lead to disaster. The only method to discern what is right and worthy is to submit yourself to the Word of God under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Seek God through prayer and listen for His voice. Take all decision making before God! Do not rely on self.

The spiritual man judges all things because he has the mind of Christ and is yoked to God through His Spirit. His steps cannot falter because the laws of God are alive in his heart.

God wants you to take the very best that the world has to offer through a relationship with Him. He wants to be your moral compass and a light unto your pathway!

“For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away.” Matthew 25:29

This is a powerful promise from God. If you have Jesus in your heart and make Him the center of your life you will be given more and have an overwhelming abundance.

God is looking for a serious and genuine commitment from you to make Him first in your life. God desires for you to have a heart felt devotion to Him through praise, worship, and prayer.

He wants you to be linked to Him through the Holy Spirit and live by the words “Not my will but yours be done”.

Develop a lifestyle to Jesus in whom you live and move and have your being. Allow Jesus to be the essence of your life. He will never fail you.

You have been crucified with Jesus! Your old life died on the cross so live through the life of Jesus who is abundantly dwelling inside you.

God loves you and wants you to live by faith in Him, hope in His promises, and to allow the love of God to flow through you and touch others.

I will bring the one–third through the fire,
Will refine them as silver is refined,
And test them as gold is tested.
They will call on My name,
And I will answer them.
I will say, ‘This is My people’;
And each one will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’” Zechariah 13:9

If you want to understand what is taking place in the body of Christ, read Zechariah 13. God is at work to destroy false teaching and idolatry worship in the body of Christ. The impurity of religion has corrupted the life of the church.

The sword of judgment is in the hand of God and He will strike without mercy to cause leaders and believers to return to worship the person of Jesus Christ.

There will be a remnant of believers who will survive the fires of God. These people will be refined with the character of God and will be tested severely. They will have a heart of gold for God and will call on Him for their every need.

God is looking for people who wake up in the morning and pray “The Lord is my God” regardless of trials and tribulations.

Even when God is silent in your life and you face adversities, the people of God will stand on the rock and will not falter or fall into unbelief.

Without faith it is impossible to please God. Faith is trusting in God and facing a future you cannot see!

 

 

“The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.” Psalm 23:1

 

If you are a believer, God is your overseer and the source for all your needs. So if you want for something ask God to fill your want. Then you have to wait upon the Lord for His perfect timing. Your want has been granted by God but lives in heaven with Him.

God knows you better than you know yourself and He is omniscient which means He knows every detail of your future. He will answer your prayer but He wants to protect you and keep you away from evil.

Although you can’t always see the work of God, you have to believe He is looking out for you in the invisible and wants to bless the desires of your heart. So if you have prayed to God to fulfill specific needs and desires, you have to let go of them and trust God knows what He is doing.

It doesn’t do any good to worry, get angry, or strive to fill your wants. They are with God so rest in Him and allow God to be God.

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights. God is perfect and does not change like shifting shadows.

So take your mind and emotions off what you lack and praise God for what He is bringing to you. His gift will be more than you ask or think!

“And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.” Luke 13:13

 

God heals people today! In this story, there was a lady crippled with an infirmity for over 18 years. She was listening to Jesus who was teaching in the synagogue. Although not explicit in the text, you have to accept this woman believed in the power of Jesus to heal her.

Jesus looked at this woman and told her she was loosened from her infirmity and then He laid hands on her. The woman was immediately healed and gave glory to God. The point of the healing was the glory went to God and everyone recognized this was a miracle from God.

The death of Jesus can bring life to your body through the resurrected power of the Holy Spirit. God can do for you what doctors and medicine can’t do. Medicine operates based on research and facts. God operates by faith!

There’s nothing wrong with going to a doctor when you have a medical issue but don’t rule out God in the healing process. The best approach is to mix faith with the care of doctors to get optimal results.

God can raise people from the dead back to life which is impossible with medicine or doctors. Jesus said “I am the resurrection and the life” and then He raised Lazarus back to life.

God heals by your faith in His name! You have to believe you are healed and give the glory to God. Don’t give power to your illness but give praise and thanks to God for His healing abilities. Jesus said “Your faith has made you whole”!

God likes to work through the body of Christ to heal. You might ask the elders of a church to anoint you with oil and pray for healing or you can seek out a believer with the gift of healing.

Why are some people not healed by God?

There is no human answer to this question except that God is perfect and His ways are above our understanding.

I do not agree with the reasoning that you can justify someone’s lack of healing due to their weakness of faith. This attitude is pious and lacking in the totality of almighty God.

However, I do believe God heals by faith and desires to be glorified for His powerful works of healing.

Jesus died so you can live!

God is at work today healing people all over the world. He can heal any disease or illness in a mini second. Walk by faith and don’t give up on God!

 

 

 

“For I will pass through the land of Egypt on that night, and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the Lord. Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.” Exodus 12:12-13

God is passing through our country and surrounding nations to execute judgment and prove that He alone is the Lord.

This action is taking place to strike down false gods and reassert His authority over all things. He is the Lord and wants to be feared and respected for His greatness.

Unlike in Egypt, there is no method you can take to be assured of escaping the judgment of God. Your only hope is in the blood of Jesus. You have to ask God to pour His blood over you and forgive you for all your sins. You must genuinely seek God out and ask Him to correct you of any wrong doing and purify you with His virtue.

It won’t do any good to put blood on your doorpost but you can ask God to protect you and your loved ones from harm. You can pray for the mercy of God and that He will place a mighty buttress of support around your life.

God looks at the heart and executes judgement by evaluating your thoughts, feelings, and actions. Do you have a heart for God?

Will you make a stand for God regardless of the consequences to you? Daniel was willing to be devoured by lions to stand up for the righteousness of God!

“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6

Very simply, God wants your undivided devotion to Him! This means you worship no other gods and you center your life on Jesus, the Son of God.

You have to recognize God is alive and has a personality and feelings just like you. And God is very jealous and He wants all of you. He does not want your left overs.

You have to make a conscious decision to place your faith in Jesus and trust Him for your every need. You build your life on God through prayer which develops and strengthens your relationship with Him. He becomes your best friend and can be trusted regardless of your circumstances in life.

You develop a oneness with God through His Spirit who dwells in you and you learn to take time to be still and listen for His voice.

God speaks through His Word so it is important to spend some time each day and allow the Word of God to dwell richly in you with wisdom and understanding. This can take five minutes or longer depending on your daily schedule.

You don’t make big decisions without inquiring of God for wisdom. He knows you better than you know yourself and is omniscient which means He also knows every detail of your life past, present, and future.

God becomes your keeper! You turn to Him for help to meet every challenge in your life. You walk by faith because God calls things that don’t exist as if they did.

You continually ask God to help you lead a life pleasing to Him and to correct you of any wrongdoing. God wants you to do good and turn away from all evil so it is vital you are in an intimate relationship with Him.

God is a character builder! He desires to place His virtue within you. This will only happen by your unwavering faith in His promises!
