“Wealth gained by dishonesty will be diminished,
But he who gathers by labor will increase.” Proverbs 13:11

Almost everyone wants more money. Money is what drives the world that we live in. If you are lacking in money, you are despised by the world.

The attitude of God about money is simple. He wants to give you more than you ask or think! God is not in any way opposed to wealth. In fact, He is the wealthiest person in the world and controls the distribution of all money.

So how do you find the heart of God about money in your own life? God looks at one overriding criteria in determining the flow of money to you.  Do you operate with honesty and pure motives?

He will not bless you if you are functioning with ungodly values. You must be working under the authority of God with pure motives and honest actions. This will bring increase from the Lord and His favor upon your work.

Don’t look at the day to day results of your work but trust God that He will increase your wealth in His perfect timing. If you comply with His value system and are open to His Spirit to correct and guide you, He is obligated to bless you. This is His Word and God keeps His promises.

He is a God of goodness!

 

“The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away;
Blessed be the name of the Lord.” Job 1:21

God operates in seasons. He gives and He takes away. There is a time for prosperity and a time for deprivation.

Job was at the mercy of God. He lost everything including his family, wealth, and health. He was squeezed hard by God and all was gone but barely his ability to breathe.

When something like this happens in your life, you can point fingers, blame, get angry, or rationalize you just hit a streak of bad luck.

The reality of the trials of life is that they are ordained by God. Nothing happens by chance. You may have contributed to your problems with poor decision making or trying to live without God but God determines your path of life.

Job’s attitude was “He’s God and He can do whatever He wants.” Job submitted to the will of God even though He suffered terribly. And Job never turned away from God!

In reality, Job recognized the sovereignty of God. He knew that he would never win in a fight with God.

The counsel of God for dealing with a crisis in life is to recognize that God determines the seasons in your life and to accept that what is happening to you is part of His plan.

Pray for the mercy of God and for His strength so you can endure and overcome the trials of life. The good news is that you will experience the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. He will restore and bless you abundantly. It is in His heart!

Job was given an overflowing abundance from God. He was rewarded greatly for His faith and patience in waiting upon God!

As a footnote, God just reminded He is the perfect panacea (solution) for any illness or difficulty. Praise His name!

 

“God is not human, that he should lie,
not a human being, that he should change his mind.
Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? I have received a command to bless; he has blessed, and I cannot change it.” Numbers 23:19-20

Balaam, a prophet of the Lord, spoke the words above to Balak, the king of Moab. Balak had offered him a fortune in gold and silver if he would speak a curse over Israel.

The prophesy of Balaam illustrates the true character of God. He is not a human being. He is a sovereign God with infinite greatness. God cannot lie and He never changes.

When God speaks, He keeps His Word. When God promises, He fulfills His Word. It is impossible for God to violate His Word or promises made to believers. God and His Word are inseparable!

In this story, God told Balaam that he must bless Israel because He has chosen to bless this nation. Balaam was not allowed to speak or take any action against the authority of God.

If you are a believer, you can have unwavering faith in God because He keep all His promises. He offers you an abundant life and desires to give you more than you think or ask.

He promises to supply every need of yours according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus. He died so you can live forever with Him!

The one thing you can trust in this world is the Word of God. He will never fail you! His Word is indisputable!

 

 

“Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;
And His greatness is unsearchable.” Psalm 145:3

The attributes of God are greatness, power, glory, victory, and majesty. He is the Head over all. He has power and dominion over all things.

His greatness cannot be measured or understood by man. He is an omniscient God and knows your every thought and feeling before you wake up in the morning.

Nothing can move God! He is indestructible! He is holy, pure, and just. His ways are perfect! He is filled with loving kindness and mercy and wants the very best for you.

How can you bring this mighty and powerful God into your life? The answer is to reach out to Him and ask for forgiveness and make Him the center of your life.

Think about it this way. God has drawn a line of demarcation to separate Himself from humanity. He will not be tarnished by your sin or allow you to come near Him in your natural state. He is perfect and will not tolerate uncleanness.

To cross over this line and enter into His kingdom, you must confess your shortcomings to God and ask for the blood of Jesus to cover you and make you clean. Then you can approach God! There is no other way.

God is very jealous and His jealousy is like a consuming fire. He wants all of you and does not want to share you with other gods or worldly things.

He wants you to worship Him with all of your heart and reject false gods and idols. He wants to be your priority in life and for all other things to be subjugated under His authority.

This action will bring you face to face with the living God and you will experience His power and glory. Your life will never be the same and people will know you have been with God!

“Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ.” Ephesians 3:8-9

Something “unsearchable” cannot be found by human reasoning, intellect, or effort. It is hidden from you. It is unfathomable and difficult to understand.

God hid Jesus, His Son, from all humanity for eons of time. God is now approachable by placing your faith in His Son.

The fellowship of the mystery is Jesus was hid in God from the very beginning and God created all things through His Son. God determined that the only way you can draw near to Him is through His Son. Jesus is indispensable!

God is delighted in His Son who gave up His earthly life so you could be restored to God and participate in His unsearchable riches. He is the way, the truth, and the life!

The gift of eternal life is the starting point to inherit the riches of God. This is not about a prayer, joining a church, or a religious movement. It is a life changing decision to become a disciple of Jesus. This unlocks the treasure chest of God.

You receive the promise of eternal life and God embeds Himself in you in the essence of the Holy Spirit. This entitles you to all of the attributes of God-love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, meekness, self control and the fullness of His life.

You now are adopted as His Son and can inherit all of His promises. He desires to give you an abundant life and bless the desires of your heart. He also wants to give you more than you ask or think.

The truth of God is indisputable! Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and you will experience His unsearchable riches!

 

 “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7

At times, we are all overcome by anxiety and fear over the challenges of life. The spiritual solution of dealing with these emotions is to identify what is causing them and then immediately reach out to God.

Cast your burdens upon God with a thankful heart and a confident assurance that He will resolve and deliver you from your concerns.

When you do this, the burdens no longer belong to you. They belong to God and He delights in your faith and dependence on Him.

It is now God’s responsibility to deal with your burdens and concerns and you can let go completely because they are in the powerful hands of God.

God will give you a freedom from your burdens and a deep sense of peace and comfort in His desire to care for you.

The authenticity in a relationship with God is a strong belief that He will do for you what you can never do for yourself!

 

“For in Him jwe live and move and have our being.” Acts 17:28

This is a beautiful statement of someone who is walking with God. Your life revolves around God. Every thought, word, and step is built on God. He is your reason for life.

You are anchored to God through His Spirit and life begins with Him. You recognize that God is sovereign and all powerful and life has no significance without Him.

You see yourself for who you really are and cry out to God to have mercy on you. You have a deep sense of your utter hopelessness and futility without God.

When you get to this point, you are ready to do great things for God! He loves you!

 

“There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.” Ephesians 4:4-6

There is only one path to God. To join the body of believers you must reach out to Jesus Christ. He is your only hope.

There is one Lord, one baptism, one God and Father of all. God is above all and through all things.

Do not accept any false teaching or a watered down version of the truth. Avoid religious rituals, forms of meditations, and half truths about God.

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to God except through Him. He is your mediator with Father God.

There is one Spirit and He lives in all believers. He is your lifeline to God. He wants to live through you and guide you into paths of righteousness.

Jesus died so you can have life more abundantly. The deterrent to an abundant life is sin. This is why the blood of Jesus is so valuable and life changing. The blood forgives and His Spirit creates a new person in Christ Jesus.

It is impossible to please God or come into His presence without the blood of His Son. The precious blood reconciles you to God!

He is your only hope!

“Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” John 6:35

This is a very powerful promise from God. No one can match this promise either on earth or in the heavens.

This is much more than about God providing for food and water. It is a new way of life unlike anything the world can give you.

Jesus is offering the gift of eternal life. This gift begins at the moment you make a decision for Him and continues forever.

Eternal life is about living today with God. He becomes your source for all things and your help for all the troubles and problems in life.

He fills you with Himself and gives you an inner peace and stability that cannot be found anywhere else.

You have to come to Jesus with a genuine desire to do His will and faith in the Bread of Life.

You step out of the world and into the realm of God. He wants you to place Him above all things and come to Him with praise, prayer, and His Word.

You receive the Bread of Life and the fullness of God by placing your faith in His name. You live for God and He will fill you with an abundant life.

 

 

He answered, ‘I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid. And he said, ‘Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree from which I commanded you not to eat?’ Genesis 3:10-11

God has laid out His instructions for living. He has explained what is right and what is wrong. His ways are perfect!

Adam and Eve heard from God and were deceived by Satan. They violated God’s command and were banished from the perfect setting of God in the Garden of Eden. They went from living forever to facing death.

If you cross over into sin, you will face the consequences of your actions. God holds you accountable for every thought, word, and action.

Satan has authority to steal, kill, and destroy. He has influenced the world to live for self and disregard the laws of God.

The moral pendulum created by God has been bankrupted by sin. The determination of what is right or wrong is no longer based on the principles of God. The attitude in our society is “if it feels good do it”.

Satan deceives by giving you a desire to do something that is not of God and then convinces you that everyone else does it so go ahead. God doesn’t really care!

The point of this narrative is the laws of God will never go away regardless of society’s views. You must turn away from the world and yield to almighty God. He lives in you and will guide you into paths of truth, justice, mercy, and righteousness.
