Trusting Jesus without borders!

“Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 1:11

Faith is pure and undefiled belief in Jesus without any borders defining expectations or outcomes. Jesus controls your destiny and can do with you as He pleases.

We must learn to trust Jesus regardless of the circumstances in our life. Faith does not have ups or downs. Faith is a steadfast belief in Jesus. The evidence comes as an outgrowth of your faith.

Faith is reaching out to Jesus for your every need and believing in His promises and not what you see with your eyes.

Without faith you cannot please God. What happens is we walk by faith with Jesus and suddenly have to face disastrous troubles. We react with anger and blame God.

Faith is not a shield from troubles. Faith is believing Jesus will deliver you in His perfect timing.

The troubles come from our mistakes, the evil work of Satan, and the actions of Jesus. We have to seek the forgiveness of Jesus and pray for inner healing.

Faith is responding to Jesus with obedience and without any caveats. This is how Abraham became the father of many nations.

Faith believes Jesus calls things that do not exist as if they did. This is how He works in the life of a believer.

Faith is believing your life is in the hands of Jesus and He knows exactly what He is doing.

How to channel your joy for Jesus?

Rejoice in the Lord always! Philippians 4:4

At times, we all become filled with unspeakable joy for Jesus. The challenge is what do we do with the intense feelings of love and joy for Jesus.

Jesus appreciates your joy and love for Him. But we cannot make decisions for Jesus through emotions because they will betray a believer. The journey with Jesus is filled with many ups and downs. And, if you are serious about Jesus, expect severe testing and adversity.

Jesus has one priority for a believer. He wants you to develop a personal and embracing relationship with Him built on faith and obedience. Jesus desires for a believer to get to know Him, hear His voice and live in His presence.

Doing works for Jesus is not on the calendar for a believer unless the ministry is created and anointed by the Holy Spirit.

Jesus wants you to live under His authority through the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the life of Jesus and sealed in all believers.

The Holy Spirit will purify your motives and decision making. He will reveal your hidden dispositions and compulsive behaviors.

The decision for Jesus causes a believer to die to self and live for Jesus. The Holy Spirit transforms a believer into the character of God. There can be no ego or pride in the personality of a Christ follower.

Faith is trusting Jesus for your every need and believing in His promises and not what you see with your eyes. Faith is a discipline of life for a believer.

Jesus is looking for loyal and devoted followers. He develops obedience through His instructions which can be very costly and lack any form of human logic. We are to respond with complicity to Jesus without doubt or hesitation.

Channel your joy for Jesus in prayer, reading the Bible and listening for His voice. Praise Him for His powerful attributes and protection.

The joy of the Lord is expressed in your demeanor and personality to all those you encounter in life. They are touched by the Living Water!

Intimidation is a feeling, Jesus is reality!

I am with you always! Matthew 28:20

The word from the Holy Spirit today is intimidation which is defined as a frightening or threatening feeling.

We all face the intimidation that comes from the darkness in the world and the evil attacks of Satan. Intimidation is worrying about something that has not happened but shadows over you.

Jesus does not want you to be intimidated by anything in the world. He has power and dominion over the heavens and earth.

We live in the end times and will face many difficult challenges engineered by God.

The solution to living in these intense times is to be Christ centered. He is your only hope.

Pray for the will of Jesus, read the Bible and listen for His voice. Do not step out into the world without inquiring of Him for protection and omniscient wisdom. The advantage to believers is the omniscient ability of Jesus. He sees every detail of your future and is your only refuge for protection.

Satan hates believers and wants to steal, kill and destroy. Pray that no weapon formed against you shall prosper.

The powerful promises in Psalm 91 are not freely given out. They happen to those who dwell in the secret place of the Most High. You have to be serious about Jesus and concentrating on Him above all else.

Dwell with God by submitting to the Holy Spirit. He is the life of Jesus. Invite the Holy Spirit to have authority over your life.

Do not say yes to the desires of your flesh or leave any door open for Satan to enter.

Stand firm with Jesus walking by faith and believing in His promises.

He who is in me is greater than he who is in the world!

Developing an affinity with Jesus!

This is the most important thing a human being can ever do in his life.

The Holy Spirit spoke the word affinity to me today which is defined as a spontaneous or natural attraction for Jesus. It is characterized by the qualities of empathy and rapport.

The affinity is not built on intellect or emotions, it is built on the unconditional love of Jesus and faith in His promises.

It is an action of opening up your heart to accept Jesus without compromise.

It is developed by taking Jesus seriously and zealously seeking His will for your life.

Developing an affinity with Jesus happens through prayer, reading the Bible and listening for His voice.

The affinity becomes stronger by learning to be obedient to the instructions of Jesus regardless of the personal cost or lack of logic. Obedience is saying yes to Jesus by faith.

The affinity is built on repentance from sin and the blood of Christ. The devoted believer sees his natural condition at birth and realizes Jesus is the only way to become clean.

The affinity is deepened by submitting to the authority of the Holy Spirit. He knows you better than you know yourself and desires to guide your decision making and create the order and simplicity of Jesus in your life.

Jesus is not easy to follow. He engineers difficult trials in the life of a believer. The affinity with Jesus allows a believer to have peace and protection knowing Jesus delivers His people from troubles and adversity.

Build your affinity with Jesus today by praying “Not my will but Yours be done.”

The priorities of Jesus are difficult to understand!

“For in Him, we live and move have our being.” Acts 17:28

This is the day after Christmas. What is on the mind of Jesus? The Holy Spirit told me believers must walk by faith and believe in the promises of Jesus. He is alive and at work in ways which are difficult for a mere mortal to understand. He said focus on Me and not the world. I will make you impervious to the darkness.

The darkness in the world is spreading. We have wars, violence, sexual immorality and corruption. It is almost impossible to find any light in the world.

Christianity is failing. There were fifteen thousand churches in the United States that closed this year. Christianity is not relevant or appealing to many unbelievers.

Jesus is permitting the darkness taking place in the world today. Jesus hates the darkness but He has a perfect plan built on His Word.

There is hope in Jesus but not in the world. The Christ follower must concentrate totally on Jesus and shut out the world.

Live with Jesus through prayer, reading the Bible and listening for His voice. Invite the Holy Spirit to have authority over your life. He is your safety net.

The Christ followers who are serious about Jesus are getting hammered by Satan. Standing in the gap for those who are in bondage to sin and making intercession against darkness brings hell into their lives.

Jesus desires to have a personal and symbiotic relationship with a believer. This is your treasure to get through today.

Pray that no weapon formed against you shall prosper and make spiritual decisions based on the omniscient wisdom of God.

Ask Jesus to cover you with His blood and be open to the conviction of the Holy Spirit. We get off track with Jesus by yielding to fleshly desires and impure motives.

Jesus is perfect!

Overcoming bewilderment at Christmas through Jesus!

“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.“

John 14:27

The Christmas holiday can cause bewilderment which is defined as a feeling of being perplexed and confused.

The Holy Spirit told me today that many people are confused and cannot understand why their life isn’t filled with the peace and joy of Christmas.

This happens because we look for the safety, peace and traditions of the world. Jesus desires for believers to turn away from worldly traditions and concentrate on Jesus through prayer, reading the Bible and listening for His voice.

Don’t have expectations about Christmas but find the Christmas story for your life in the words of Jesus. He will reveal the perfect will for Christmas.

Keep Christmas simple and pray for the order of Jesus.

I have been praying for over a month for a beautiful Christmas for my family and Jesus has turned our Christmas upside down. There has been nothing but serious troubles.

I have let go of all of my expectations and asked Jesus to show me His perfect wisdom. I have also prayed to Jesus for inner healing and to take away my feelings of anger and frustration.

Jesus sees the priorities in your life and what is not important. Ask Him. The counsel of Jesus is perfect.

Pray that no weapon formed against you shall prosper and defend your family against the attacks of Satan through the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God.

Pray for the perfect holiday plan of Jesus. He is alive and wants to be very present in your life!

Merry Christmas!

The resilience of Jesus will deliver a believer through a dark storm.

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Isaiah 41:10

The word from the Holy Spirit today is resilience which is defined as the capacity to withstand or to recover quickly from difficulties.

This is a powerful spiritual attribute for anyone dealing with adversity. It is maintaining composure during troubles, seeking the omniscient wisdom of Jesus and walking by unyielding faith.

It is believing nothing is impossible for God. We are on the verge of a strong winter storm with several days of rain. I am thanking God for the rain and praying it will be refreshing, purifying and restoring.

The trials of life can be devastating and create a dismal Christmas. We have to let go and give Christmas back to God and pray for simplicity and order. Sometimes, presents and fine dining have to be replaced by prayer, reading the Word, and listening for the voice of Jesus.

I am praying for the unspeakable joy of the Lord during this holiday season.

Christmas can be experienced every day by a Christ follower. He can live in the presence of Jesus, hear His voice and be filled with the strength of Jesus.

Christmas is a time of celebration regardless of blessings. Jesus promises an abundant life filled with His goodness. Don’t let the ebbs and flows of Jesus disrupt your holiday. Accept Jesus for who He is and trust in His promises.

Christmas is the gift of salvation and the ability to live with Jesus forever. Merry Christmas!

The ways of Jesus are perfect!

As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.” Psalm 18:30

Jesus spoke to me today. He said “My ways are perfect”. This is hard for a human being to grasp. Just look around!

The human mind cannot comprehend all the words of Jesus. They come from Heaven and are built on the work of the Cross.

We encounter many troubles and see darkness spreading across the world. Where is Jesus?

Jesus is preparing the Body of Christ for the end times. The evil acts and darkness in the world are being permitted by Jesus.

Jesus creates trials to lead a believer into His perfect will. The trials build faith and patience in Jesus.

Jesus does not think or act like you. He is unpredictable, controversial and leads believers on a journey that does not make sense or have any form of human logic. This is because He is building your personality to think like Him.

Jesus does not think or act in worldly terms so this why He is difficult to understand. He thinks and acts on a spiritual realm built on the Cross. He wants a believer to die to self and live for Him. This is a painful and very difficult experience for a human being.

The cost to follow Jesus is radical and life changing. The believer has to sever all ties with the world and learn to think and act like Jesus.

The perfect ways of Jesus will come to a believer through prayer, reading the Bible and listening for His voice. The Christ follower must live by faith and not by what he sees with his eyes.

The most important method to find the perfect way of Jesus is to live under the authority of the Holy Spirit. He is the life of Jesus. He will provide spiritual counsel, protection and transform a believer into the character of Jesus.

To find the perfect way of Jesus a believer must be covered by His blood and seeking repentance for his many sins.

The human nature you were born with does not want to submit to Jesus. This is why your safety net is living under the authority of the Holy Spirit. He will refine your motives and teach you the values of Jesus.

Commit your works each day to Jesus and you will experience the presence and reality of the Living Christ.

The ways of Jesus will become perfectly clear to you!

The circuitous pathway of a Christ follower!

“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” Psalm 119:105

The word from Jesus today is circuitous which is defined as roundabout, indirect, or not straight forward and is used to describe your walk with Jesus.

Sometimes, Jesus takes believers on a circuitous journey with no destination in sight.

Elijah, the prophet, was chased into the wilderness fleeing from Jezebel’s soldiers. He was told by God to travel to Zarephath during a drought and lived with a widower. Then He was directed to go Mount Horeb to meet God. Elijah obeyed God’s instructions but lived a traumatic lifestyle.

At times, the pathway of Jesus just does not make sense or logic to a believer.

The pathway to nowhere is difficult because it is unpredictable and creates anxiety.

Jesus does not like a believer to be set in his ways and not open to the Holy Spirit.

Jesus said the wind referring to the Holy Spirit blows where God desires and the believer can’t tell where it is coming from or where it is going. This is the life of a Christ follower and the hidden destination will be the perfect plan of God.

The circuitous pathway can be a test of God to measure your faith and obedience to Jesus. Walk by faith not by what you see with your eyes.

Abraham left his homeland and security at the request of God. He had no idea where he was going except he was in the perfect will of God.

Joseph’s life was a trip with many ups and downs but in the end he received the blessings of God.

The zig zag life of a believer is the perfect work of Jesus. Rest in God, pray and listen for His voice.

Jesus knows exactly what He is doing!

Speaking deprecating words brings the wrath of Jesus on a believer!

“You are snared by the words of your mouth; You are taken (or caught) by the words of your mouth.” Proverbs 6:2

Believers have to be very careful with the words they speak.

The test is to ask yourself if you are speaking from your emotions or the words of Jesus. The Holy Spirit speaks His words from the Bible to share His views with a believer.

We do not want to speak deprecating words that might bring a curse on someone. This is the responsibility of Jesus.

I have learned to bring a troubling subject before Jesus and ask Him for His counsel. This is a safe way to control your language so it is consistent with Jesus.

There is also the evil work of Satan who at times speaks deprecating words directly to you or through others.

Satan wants you to feel anger and condemnation and strike out at those who have hurt you.

Jesus does not want you to speak caustic words that are sarcastic or bitter. This is your emotions speaking.

This subject is very difficult for a believer and requires prayer, seeking the Word, and listening for the voice of Jesus.

Jesus does not want you to condone or rationalize darkness; He wants you to confront darkness with the words of Jesus.

We all get angry over darts from the enemy but we must release the anger or our emotions will cause us to sin and bring the judgment of Jesus.

Pray each day for Jesus to fill your words with love, kindness and gentleness. Ask Him to help you not to respond with anger to the words of others or the troubles that take place in your life.

Jesus desires for a believer to be a fountain of Living Water touching all those in your life!
