“Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all.” Colossians 3:11

Jesus is not a respecter of people. And, He has no bias in His heart regardless of your nationality or position in life.

Jesus is a global God offering unconditional love for any human being living on this planet.

Jesus doesn’t care what encumbrance is blocking you from Him. It might be another religion, an addiction, or worldly living. You might be living in poverty in a third world country or facing death from an enemy.

Jesus has an open heart and a desire to give you the gift of salvation enabling you live with Him forever.

I have personally been in the presence of God and can tell you unequivocally Jesus is the most powerful force in the universe, has no ego and is motivated by unconditional love to supply you an abundant life.

Jesus cuts across all racial barriers, religious divisions and those living in the abyss of immorality. 

Jesus has a heart for the downtrodden. He spent most of His ministry healing the sick, freeing those in bondage to sin and reaching out to the likes of tax collector cheats and adulterers.

If you think you are religious or morally upright Jesus will bypass you looking for those who mourn over their impoverished soul.

Jesus wants one thing from you. Walk with Him by faith seeking His will for your life.

You do not have to get entrapped in religion, keeping laws, or doing works. Jesus spent most of His life confronting religion.

Come to Jesus with an open heart and He will deliver you into the kingdom of God. 

You will see the reality of the Living Christ and your life will never be the same.

Jesus is the sufficiency of life. There is no one like Him!

Do not be left behind and denied the majesty of Christ. He will do for you what you can never do for yourself!

“But to the wicked God says:
“What right have you to declare My statutes, or take My covenant in your mouth, seeing you hate instruction and cast My words behind you?” Psalm 50:16-17

This is a sticky point with most believers. We attempt to take the goodness of God but tend to disregard His instructions. 

If you don’t listen to the voice of God it is impossible to comply with His instructions. 

God is adamant about His instructions. You have no right to declare His statutes or speak His covenants if you are not open to the instructions and correction of God.

The instructions of God never cease for a believer. They are perfect for those who walk with God. You will find His instructions through prayer and the Word of God.

Jesus is a perfect role model for this subject. Jesus, the Son of God, frequently withdrew from the crowds and His disciples to pray and hear instructions from His Father. 

If you don’t listen to God speaking through the Holy Spirit you will be like someone walking through a thick blanket of fog facing all kinds of adversity. 

The instructions of God bring good health, prosperity, protection and the joy of the Lord.

They are life changing and will draw you into oneness with the reality of the Living Christ.

“Their sorrows shall be multiplied who hasten after another god; Their drink offerings of blood I will not offer, Nor take up their names on my lips.” Psalm 16:4

Trading with Jesus is an attempt to live as you please and appease God through offerings and works.

This is the practice of living for self and satisfying the desires of the flesh. You worship other idols and attempt to cover up your actions by offering God a paltry offering. 

God will not accept your worthless offerings or take up your name on His lips or mind. 

The action of trading with God will bring sorrow and destruction upon your life.

You cannot make the rules with God; the Christ follower must submit to God seeking His will for your life.

God never changes and you cannot barter with Him. He will attenuate (or reduce) His presence in your life. 

Religion is a perfect example of trading with God. Believers substitute works and keeping laws for making a heart transaction with God. 

God wants all of you. He will never trade or make concessions for worldly living.

Come to God with a penitent heart and abandon yourself to Him without compromise. You will meet the Living Christ and your life will never be the same.

“For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” I Corinthians 3:11

The starting point for a believer is the foundation of Christ. This is accepting that Jesus comes first and your goals and desires are subservient to His will. You live for God not self. 

Jesus laid the foundation for life by dying on the Cross. You must build your life on the values of the Cross and operate with pure motives. 

The fire of God will test your work to determine if you have built your life on the foundation of Christ. 

Your work will become clear under the fiery microscope of God. 

If your work endures the fire of God it will bring glorify to Jesus, last forever and you will be rewarded.

If your work is built with impure motives the fire will burn up your efforts and you will suffer great loss but God will save you. 

The vast majority of Christian ministry will be incinerated by the fires of God. 

It is very difficult to find a church or Christian organization built on the foundation of God.

How do you and I deal with this sickening mess?

Walk with God by faith believing in His promises. 

Take every thought or word spoken to you captive to the obedience of Christ Jesus.

Give the Holy Spirit authority over your life. He will confirm the truths of God and dispel the lies of Satan. 

Listen to the voice of God and respond with obedience to His instructions.

Pray vigilantly seeking the will of God for your life. 

Spend time every day in the Word and accept the teachings of Jesus without compromise. 

The authenticity of Christian ministry is performed by those who are not seeking personal glory or attempting to benefit from their work. They teach the truths of Christ without mediation.

Jesus gave up His life to save souls!

“I now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the church” Colossians 1:24

Last night God gave me a vision of a heavy metal ball secured by a chain. He said this represents all those who have a crippling encumbrance. They are in bondage to sin.

The good news is our powerful and loving God can break the power of the chain and deliver those afflicted into the freedom of Christ. 

This begins with God working through the labor of prayers and intercession to set believers free.

The purpose of God is to draw believers into oneness with Christ through the Holy Spirit.

Many of those anchored to the chain may not care or even be aware of the severity of the bondage.

This doesn’t matter to God. Nothing is impossible for Him. Jesus loves to perform miracles and set those free from the strongholds of Satan.

Jesus spent the majority of His ministry healing those in distress and delivering people from the power of Satan.

This encumbrance might be an addiction, a health issue, financial adversity, or a deep emotional injury. 

Or, this might be about the throngs of believers in bondage to religion. They have no freedom or ability to walk with the Living Christ. They are bound by laws and works. 

All that is required is for the afflicted to seriously reach out to God. This will cause God to move heaven and earth to deliver those in bondage.

The penalty of sin is death and destruction. 

We have an obligation to God to bind evil on earth as it is in Heaven. 

The Christ follower must live in the blood of Christ and seek repentance from sin. This is a lifelong endeavor.

We must also pray vigilantly and be in touch with the Living Christ.

The Holy Spirit will bring up those anchored to the heavy metal ball and show you how to pray under the auspices of the resurrected power of Christ.

God is at work in you to will and to work for His good pleasure. Are you on His team? 

“Without faith it is impossible to please God.” Hebrews 11:6

God impressed upon me last night the priorities for a Christ follower. He told me “With God your actions speak louder than your words.”

God also said “Be faithful in the little things and I will give you bigger things.”

Draw near to God by expressing your faith in every aspect of your life. Live by faith believing in the promises of God not by what you see with your eyes.

Without faith you cannot please God. Faith cannot be compromised or replaced by religion.

Build your life on the bedrock of Christ through prayer and studying the Word. Listen for the voice of God. He desires to speak to you.

The secret to walking with God is to give the Holy Spirit authority over your life. It is impossible to get close to God unless you yield to the Holy Spirit who lives in you. He is the life of Christ and the source to all the attributes of God.

God is not interested in your works. You cannot do anything for Him. He is complete without any needs. 

He wants your loyalty and obedience to His voice. 

You will never be able to figure Him out. He thinks and acts in ways a human being cannot comprehend.

God never changes and He keeps His promises!

Jesus is your only hope for an abundant life. He cares for you in ways which cannot be understood through your human nature. 

God wants to give you a life you can never achieve on your own!

This narrative was delivered to me by God in the middle of last night. 

Jesus feels like He has been slapped in the face by believers who practice two timing. 

Very simply, you make a commitment to love God with all your heart, mind and soul. You enter into a relationship with Jesus like a marriage partner.

Then you find another lover to share in your life. This is the definition of two timing. This might be about sexual immorality or seeking the riches of the world. In reality you have made something a priority over God in your life.

God hates two timing. He has given you the gift of salvation, forgiven your sins and redeemed you to live with Him forever.

God is very jealous and does not want to share you with other gods or idols. 

Two timing grieves the Holy Spirit and opens the door to the judgments of God. You cannot escape from this behavior without facing the recourse of God. 

Two timing ruins your life. You have given Satan authority over your actions. This can easily lead to a stronghold and living in bondage to sin. 

Two timing starts by giving in to the the lusts of the flesh. You entertain thoughts from Satan and allow them to become a desire. Sin is now conceived in your heart and will be lived out.

Two timing is an act of prostitution. 

Jesus died to give you a new identity and fill you with His life. 

Come clean with God and turn away from the darkness. 

Jesus will welcome you back with open arms and unconditional love. 

“There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known.” Luke 12:2

The word of God today is masquerading which is pretending to be someone you are not. In the spiritual realm this is operating under the pretense of Christ with hidden motives and behaviors.

We are betraying Jesus and ridiculing His reputation by impersonating Him with a false countenance.

God is entering a new season with His people. He is disgusted with this behavior and is moving swiftly to hold all accountable with the deep and penetrating conviction of the Holy Spirit.

When you come before God prepare yourself to be humble and open to change. God will shred any masquerading veneer in your life and reveal your true inner nature. 

This will be an intense examination and feel like a sword piercing your heart and soul. 

God is distraught with believers attempting to use Him to accomplish their objectives while operating with impure motives.

The purpose of God is to create transparency in your relationship with Him and cause you to repent from your sins and walk in the light of Jesus. 

This is a day of reckoning with Jesus. If you want the fullness of God you must lay down your life for Jesus and integrate His values into every aspect of your life.

This sweeping movement of Jesus is in action today. No one can escape this intense scrutiny of the Holy Spirit. 

Hypocrisy and religion will fade away as believers give it all up to walk with Christ. There will be a newness of God in the heart of believers and a revival in the Body of Christ. 

“Do not quench the Spirit” 1 Thessalonians 5:19

This deals with the work of God to transform you into the character of Jesus.

Your idea of sanctification will never relate to the mind of Christ.

God sanctifies you in ways that cannot be grasped by the human mind. 

What is God aiming for in sanctification?

Like the harvest of grapes, He wants to squeeze out fine wine without any impurities. 

Sanctification is not abiding by a list of do’s and don’ts. It is impossible to match up to the standards of God. This will just bring condemnation upon you.

Sanctification is not about living in a bubble of religion. This will create spiritual pride and keep you off the playing field of God. 

Sanctification is the lifelong work of the Holy Spirit to transform you into a new creature in Christ Jesus.

Sanctification has no ending in the life of a believer. It is happening to you at this very moment.

The Holy Spirit convicts you of sin. This is not just about atoning for your mistakes. You must listen to the voice of Christ and be sensitive to His convicting words.

God looks at the big picture. He is examining your thinking patterns and motives. 

Sanctification is accepting God for who He is without any expectation of receiving His favor. 

Sanctification is preparing you to do the works of God. Your ego has to disappear so you can work for God without any benefit coming to self.

Your role is just to be open the conviction of the Holy Spirit. God will do the rest. 

The deep work of the Holy Spirit creates change in your mind, heart and personality. This inner work must come first before the life of Christ will manifest in your exterior life.

Walking with Jesus is not easy. You must learn to die to self so you can live for Christ!

 

I will say to God my Rock,
“Why have You forgotten me?” Psalm 42:9

The word from God today is vestige which is defined as a trace of something that is disappearing or no longer exists.

This is the perfect definition of the presence of God in our world.

God is shutting down and removing His favor from our world.

The prophet Malachi was the last to speak the words of God. Then God chose to be silent four hundred years. God did not speak again until the ministry of John the Baptist. 

God looks at the world with disgust and anger. 

The leaders in government and the counselors in the Body of Christ have attempted to exalt their power and liberal views above God with a “holier than thou attitude”.

They whitewash the truths of God. They seduce believers about the peace of God but in reality their teaching is like a wall made with untempered mortar and will crumble.

They do not submit to the authority of God or respect Him.

Religion has trashed the Word of God for liberal interpretations of scripture. 

God has removed His favor from our world and is allowing us to drift into a sewer of waste.

The vestige of Christ is difficult and almost impossible to find in our society. 

If you don’t want to get left out in the cold you must change. 

As a believer, you must re-examine your attitudes, thoughts, and actions through the words of Jesus. 

The vestige of Christ is alive in the Holy Spirit. He will convict you of sin, righteousness and judgement. 

The Holy Spirit is the life of Jesus and your landline to God. Listen to His voice and respond with obedience to His conviction. 

Accept the words of Jesus without compromise. He never changes.

Your safety net is living in the blood of Jesus confessing your sins and turning away from darkness to walk in the light of Christ.

This is how God sees the Body of Christ:
