Dealing with the contradictions attacking the values of Christ!

“Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ” 2 Corinthians 10:5

The word from God today is contradictions which are defined as a combination of statements, ideas, or features of a situation that are opposed to one another.

This is our world today. We live in a web of lies and deceit. There is intense conflict between light and darkness.

I never change and My ways are perfect!

We have to deal with laws, attitudes and views of society that are contradictory to the precious oracles of God.

It is repulsive to wake up each day and face defiance against God everywhere you look.

There is really no place in the world to find the holiness and purity of God.

This despicable situation is why God is so angry and pouring out His judgments over the world. Very simply, we don’t respect or fear God.

Satan hates God and will attempt to destroy anyone who stands up for the values of Christ.

There is a strong movement to overrule the influence of Jesus and discredit His values. This effort is spearheaded by Satan who uses devious tactics hidden under the pretext they are good for society.

Satan twists the truths of God to lie to you. As an example, there is a way that seems right to a man but its end is destruction.

We have to take every though captive to the obedience of Christ. The Holy Spirit will expose the lies of Satan and lead you into the truths of God.

Your safety net is dwelling in the presence of God. You will find Him through prayer, the Word of God and living in oneness with Jesus anchored to the Holy Spirit.

He lives so you can live!

Complacency or a zealous heart for Jesus?

“Without Me you can do nothing.” Romans 12:5

The word from God today is complacency which is defined as self satisfaction along with unawareness of actual dangers or deficiencies. If you have this smug attitude you believe your human qualities will bring a good life and you are blinded to the attributes of our amazing God.

The attitude of complacency is pervasive in our society with both believers and non believers.

Many people operate aloof from God and depend on self sufficiency to meet their needs. God is mostly a void in their life. They lack the power, wisdom and omniscient abilities of Jesus to protect them from the dangers of living in the world. This attitude will eventually lead to death and destruction.

In Christianity, complacency reflects a lack of genuine concern about the will of God for your life. There is no fear of the Lord or a zealous desire to walk with Jesus.

Most leaders in the Body of Christ are out of step with God concerning judgment, the actions of the Holy Spirit and the evil threats facing our society. They deliver a message that Jesus lives in the Bible and you can find Him through works and laws.

Complacency prevents a believer from having a vibrant and embracing relationship with the reality of the Living Christ.

And, if you don’t listen to the the voice of God you will face many adversities and become entangled in a web of sinful activities.

A complacent individual cannot see the global views of God or understand His priorities.

God told me last night we all need the resuscitation power of Jesus to change from complacency to the vitality of a Christ follower. Ask and Jesus will literally breathe His life into your heart and soul.

We have to become alive in Christ anchored to the Holy Spirit with a vigorous attitude to seek out His will.

Salvation is life changing. If you walk with Jesus your life will be in continual change as you grow in spiritual maturity.

Jesus is at work this very moment performing the same miracles He did when He was on the earth. You and I have to choose whether we will be a spectator or on the playing field.

You have been created in His workmanship for good works. Take God seriously and you will see the transfigured Christ.

There is no one like Him!

Integrating Jesus into your life!

“Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.” Colossians 3:2-3

The challenge for a Christ follower is living in the world without becoming tainted with sin. You can’t devote yourself to God twenty four/seven. We all have to eat, work, deal with family and friends, and have some fun.

The significance of this truth is to have an earnest desire to seek the will of God and live a life pleasing to Him. If you are not fully committed you will be unable to please God and will vacillate between living for self and God.

Just come to God with a transparent attitude and a willingness to change. He will do the rest.

Train your mind on the things of God through prayer, the study of the Word, and listening for His voice.

Commit your works to God each day and then you can focus on worldly things without any concern because God is with you. Remember, He lives in you.

The decision for Christ causes you to die to self but this has to be worked out over many years. God is patient and knows you better than you know yourself.

In your journey with Christ Jesus the things of world which seem important now will gradually fade away as you experience the glory and greatness of the Living Christ.

The Holy Spirit will let you know when you are doing something wrong. He is most concerned with your motives and removing compulsive behaviors that block the power of God working within you.

You have the mind of Christ so trust your thoughts. He will speak to you and guide you into all truth and be a light unto your pathway.

God is more important than ever before because of the deceptive work of the Antichrist attempting to discredit Jesus through new laws and liberal attitudes. It is almost impossible to avoid evil today. It permeates our society.

He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. You can trust God implicitly. He keeps His promises!

The translucent work of Jesus!

“He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” John 7:38

The word from God today is translucent which means permitting the passage of light.

This miracle happens to Christ followers filled with the Holy Spirit.

God seals you with the Holy Spirit. He is the life of Christ. The light is the glory of God. This light is pure and without any darkness. It is the unconditional love of Christ. This light has no hidden motives and desires to give you an abundant life.

The light is the resurrected power of God and is how Christ followers do the work of God. It is the omnipotent nature of our amazing God who created the heavens and earth.

This translucent action of God is yours without limitations however you must be clean before God and living for Jesus without compromise.

Your sin reduces the passage of the light from God. We must live in repentance confessing our sins to Jesus.

The light has all of the healing abilities of Jesus. You can be healed today by this powerful light.

The light opens the eyes of those who are blinded to God and brings the gift of salvation.

Live in the light through praise to God, vigilant prayer and let the Word of Christ dwell richly in you with all wisdom and understanding.

God is our dwelling place and you can do all things through the strength of Christ!

The call of Jesus upon your life!

“You did not choose me, but I chose you” John 15:16

The difficult thing to understand is God chose you and you had nothing to do with this decision. You are not entitled to choose how God will use you or understand God’s purposes for your life. And, as you gain spiritual maturity the picture becomes even more vague.

The call of God is to live with Him by faith anchored to the Holy Spirit. Walk in oneness with God and respond with obedience to His voice.

God will give you prophetic signposts on your journey but they do not necessarily reveal His final purpose.

God wants your undivided devotion to Him without the ability to see the future.

He is unpredictable and will test you to the ends of the earth.

We have to live one day at a time and commit our works to the Lord.

Pray God will give you a heart of wisdom and bless the work of your hands.

Salvation is living moment by moment with God and drawing upon His strength, wisdom, joy and protection.

Jesus simply wants you to be a bright light touching others with the Living Water.

You can’t do anything for God. He is complete and has no needs but God can do great things through you in His perfect timing.

Focus on living with God today and leave the big picture with Him!

It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.

How Jesus reacts to those who worship false gods?

“When the people saw that Moses delayed to come down from the mountain, the people gathered around Aaron, and said to him, “Come, make gods for us, who shall go before us; as for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt.” Exodus 32:1

Why do believers turn away from our awesome God and worship false gods or idols? There are several reasons:

They are unhappy with the delays of God.

They feel unrest and stranded.

They complain about the failure of God to help them.

They dislike the circumstances of their life and turn to false gods for help.

There was a group of dissident Israelites who talked Aaron into helping them find a god who would save them.

They made a golden calf and worshipped the false god. They celebrated this event with a spirit of revelry.

This blasphemy made God very angry and the participants involved in building the golden calf were all killed on the orders of Moses and God punished the Israelites with a plague.

The point of this story is you cannot get away with turning to false gods. You will be punished by God.

The jealousy of God is like a consuming fire. He wants all of you and is unwilling to share you with false gods or idols.

I abhor your dissipation!

We all have secret sins and fall short of the glory of God. If you think you are righteous or without sin you are lying to God.

This is a time to go before God and confess your sins and get rid of your false idols. Ask God what must go away in your life. Many times this relates to an attitude or impure motive.

Shortcuts never work with God. You have to wait upon the Lord and worship Him in Spirit and Truth.

Call upon Me in the day of trouble;
I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.

The critical mass of Christ Jesus in your life!

“I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” Psalm 27:13

The word from God today is critical mass referring to the minimum size or amount of something to start a new action.

The Father and I are one.

In the context of the spiritual realm, it is like a watershed released by God. It is a turning point leading to action or change.

We have to look at this individually and from a global perspective.

God works in your life in different seasons. You cannot change from one season to a new one without the critical mass of God at work. As a Christ follower it is not by might nor by power but by the Spirit. This begins with God. He decides it’s time for a change in your life and creates a critical mass reaction which will bring a new direction in your life.

You and I cannot influence God. He works on His own timeline. What we can do is walk by faith anchored to the Holy Spirit. We have to wait upon God without complaining. This is not easy to do and requires patience and living in closeness with God.

If you complain or become bitter you risk being bitten by a poisonous snake or dying in the desert without experiencing the fullness of God.

On a global scale, God has created a critical mass leading to judgment. You cannot escape this punishment which was caused by lack of respect and fear for our awesome God.

We have to repent and get right with God through the blood of Jesus. We have to seek the will of God with a zealous heart and worship Him in Spirit and Truth.

The critical mass of Jesus is coming soon to create a powerful chain reaction of revival and salvation sweeping around the globe. This will be greater than anything God has ever done in the past.

Are you on board with Jesus?

Walking with God wearing blinders!

“Yours is not to know” Acts 1:7

The word from God today is arcane and refers to things understood by few because they are mysterious or seem like a secret.

This defines the heart of God. He is mysterious and works in unpredictable ways.

What happens to most believers when their world comes crashing down?

They blame God.
They second guess the sovereignty of God.
They verbally abase God for failing to meet their needs.
They use retaliatory tactics to strike out against God.

What causes this to happen? They fail to understand God is not a human being.

Jesus thinks and acts differently than you and His ways defy human logic.

As believers, we have to walk by faith trusting in the promises of God even in the most dire of circumstances. Don’t judge God by what you see with your eyes!

Do not question God. Worship Him in Spirit and Truth.

Do not complain. Pray the meditations of your heart and your words will be pleasing to God.

The plans of God are too big for you to understand. Remember, you are dealing with a God of greatness, power, glory and victory. Nothing is impossible for God!

What is capitulation to Christ Jesus!

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:33

The word from God today is capitulation which is defined as the action of surrendering or ceasing to resist another being.

In the context of God, this refers to surrendering to the will of Jesus. This is where the interpretation gets muddied up with religion.

You cannot appease God through works, offerings, or keeping laws. If you attempt to justify yourself to God by laws you will bring a curse upon yourself and increase the condemnation over you.

Religion wants you to capitulate to laws and works where God wants to set you free to worship Him in Spirit and Truth.

Capitulation is understanding God has power and dominion over all things and the only way you can live with God is through Jesus. It is making a sincere decision from the depth of your heart to seek out the will of Jesus for your life and to live under the authority of the Holy Spirit.

The act of surrendering is a never ending process of taking steps to build an embracing and vibrant relationship with the Living Christ. The end goal is to live in oneness with Jesus anchored to the Holy Spirit.

The starting point is recognizing you are a sinner and can never match up to the standards of God. Ask Jesus to cover you with His blood and live in repentance confessing your sins. Be open to the conviction of the Holy Spirit. You are only a moment away from sin and will probably fail God in some way today.

The thing to grasp is your inner nature is not in tune with God. You have an inherent desire to live for self and defy the ways of God. And, only God can transform you into a new creature filled with His values.

You build a relationship with God walking by faith believing in the promises of Jesus. This is a lifetime discipline of looking to God for your every need. Remember, you cannot please God without faith.

You wake up each day to pray and commit your works to Jesus. Develop a habit of reading scripture and asking God how to appropriate the values of Jesus into your life.

Listen to the voice of God and respond with obedience.

Invite the Holy Spirit to have authority over your life and develop a consciousness with Him at all times. He is the life of God dwelling inside you and wants to give you wisdom, strength, joy and the protection of God.

Build you life around a symbiotic relationship with Jesus and turn away from religion.

The New Testament church was designed by God to teach the truths of Jesus, equip believers with the resurrected power of Jesus, and send them out into the world to touch those living in darkness. The gospel is always forward moving and never ingrown.

Think of the church as a filling station not a permanent home. Your home is the Living Christ. And, He does not want you to become trapped in religion or act as ambivalent believer.

Capitulation to the Son of God will give you a life you can never achieve on your own. You will see My glory and greatness and live with Me forever!

The ideologues in our society threaten the work of Christ!

“For with God nothing will be impossible.” Luke 1:37

There is very little tolerance for God’s people in the world and Christianity lives in a bubble of religion. God is looking for believers to stand with Him in this war against the evils of the ideologues.

The word from God today is ideologue referring to someone who is a blind partisan advocate of a particular ideology.

The ideologues tend to function as an organization of people acting like a cult who are uncompromising and dogmatic.

This movement is destroying the values of Christ and creating turmoil and unrest in the world. They are taking away your freedoms in Christ.

They have a satanic driven purpose to impose their beliefs in our world and destroy anything that stands in their way.

The precious oracles of God are under attack by this radical left wing movement. Many of the oracles of God have already been replaced by new laws under the influence of ideology.

The leadership in our government is becoming driven by ideologues who have no room for those who oppose their views.

The ideologues now have control over public education and have been successful in changing the learning  system to include their curriculum of evil.

Your future and your children’s future are in danger of this pervasive movement of Satan.

The ideologues are radical people who have been brainwashed by Satan. They are unwilling to change and will attempt to destroy anything opposed to their beliefs.

As believers, we must utilize spiritual warfare to bring down this enemy of God.

We have to unite under the leadership of Jesus and come together to fight this intrusion of Satan.

This can be accomplished by vigilant prayer and intercession.

Pray God will raise up leaders in government, education, and industry with the values of Christ who are willing to defend our precious beliefs.

Pray the Holy Spirit will empower His people to fight against this evil threat to our freedom in Christ.

Build your life on the Word of God and accept no compromise!
