“He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” 1 John 4:4

The Word of God for today is conflagration which relates to an extensive firestorm.

We are in the midst of the judgments of God. The purpose of God is to realign the Body of Christ under the authority of Jesus. Secondly, God is offering the gift of salvation to those who have denied Him in the past.

Many times it takes chaos and desperation to change hearts and draw people to Christ.

This is a time to turn away from darkness and licentious living and come into the light of Christ. And, God is speaking directly to the Body of Christ.

You can no longer be complacent or find security living in religion. The firestorm will shatter religion, destroy the falsehoods about Jesus, and bring down many churches.

Your only hope is to repent from your sins and come under the authority of the Holy Spirit who lives within you.

God is asking for you to abandon yourself to Him without any limitations. This is not a superficial look at the need for housecleaning. It is a deep surgical procedure touching the depth of your heart and soul.

God has given you an anchor directly into His heart. Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.

The Holy Spirit is your lifeline to God. He lives in you and wants to be your best friend and confidant. If you deny the Holy Spirit you are denying the efficacy of Christ.

Come to Christ by faith anchored to the Holy Spirit and He will restore you to God!

Jesus desires to give you an abundant life and bless the desires of your heart!

“For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12

The Word of God for today is compromising the values of Christ!

You cannot make Me into someone compatible to your ideals or the teachings of religion.

I abhor the widespread practice of interpreting My Word to conform with the contemporary values of the world. I never change.

I discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart and examine all your motives. I hate salacious behaviors.

You cannot justify My words or actions. They stand forever and cannot be whitewashed to change My character.

I alone am worthy and will never sanctify that which is unholy.

Holiness comes by yielding to My Spirit. Religion corrupts My values.

I determine what is just and honorable. You will please Me walking by faith believing in My promises and seeking Me out for your every need.

There is no one like Me.

“The Lord will scatter you among the peoples, and only a few of you will survive among the nations to which the Lord will drive you.” Deuteronomy 4:27

The Word of God for today is diaspora which relates to the dispersion of the Jews out of Israel.

The Jews were punished by God for their lack of trust and betrayal of the values of God. Jerusalem was destroyed and the Jews lost everything including the holy temple of God.

God never changes. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

We have made God very angry.

We have besmirched the name of Christ.

We do not fear or respect Christ.

We have disparaged His precious truths.

We don’t live for God or seek out His will for our lives.

The parallel today to what happened to the Jews is understanding God is removing all your security in the world. He may not exile you to a foreign country but you will be stripped of all your security.

We have to repent, live in the cleansing and redeeming blood of Christ, and come under the authority of the Holy Spirit.

There will be a remnant people of God in the days ahead. They will identify with Christ and live for Him. They will lay down their lives for Christ and serve as anointed intercessors bringing down evil strongholds and restoring the kingdom of God.

Christ wants your loyalty to Him above all else. He will honor those people who worship Him in Spirit and Truth.

Christianity as you know it today will never be the same. The judgments of God will shatter the myths of religion and restore the New Testament church.

The vitality of Christ is coming!

“Man shall not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.” Matthew 4:4

The word from God today is understanding how vulnerable you are to adversity and destruction without Christ.

God is irate over our despicable actions. He has created a season of pandemic, turmoil, and uncertainty. He has done this for one simple purpose. Christ wants you to see the vulnerabilities of life without Him.

God also spoke to me about those with a mistaken identity. Most people including believers identify with money, success, popularity, and the luxuries of life. Or, they find their identity in religion while dismissing the power of the Holy Spirit.

God wants you to find your identity in Him alone. You can do this by repenting from worldly living or hiding in religion and coming to Christ with an open heart. God wants all of you without compromise.

God wants to live in your thoughts, words, and actions. Worship Christ in Spirit and Truth and reject the darkness of the world and an aphrodisiac lifestyle.

Be open to the conviction of the Holy Spirit. Live in the blood of Christ.

Christ is taking away all of the security in the world so you have to make a decision to live for Him or suffocate under the judgments of God.

There is no middle ground. Come to Christ by faith living in His promises. Make Him the centerpiece of your life!

“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.” Psalm 19:14

Take a few moments to think about your private thoughts because they reflect the character of God within you.

Are your thoughts mostly about money, food or drink, sex, seeking enjoyment? Or, are you serious about seeking the will of God and living under the authority of the Holy Spirit?

There is nothing wrong with enjoying the pleasures in the world. In fact, God wants you to be fulfilled and meet your every need.

You have an internal switch embedded inside you. The switch has two options either living for self or living under the authority of the Holy Spirit. The challenge is keeping the switch in the right position.

Pray your thoughts are grounded in Christ and seek His priorities for your life.

God creates a beautiful symmetry in life when you commit your works each day to Him and ask for the mind of Christ to establish your thoughts and guide your decision making.

“That I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith” Philippians 3:8-9

The only way you will come to know Christ is to walk by faith living in the promises of God. It is impossible to find God in the laws of religion. He does not live there.

The entitlements of Christ come to you by faith in My words.

I sacrificed My life to abolish all forms of religion.

Make your priority to gain the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus who died to give you an abundant life filled with His resurrected power.

We are living in a whirlwind of anxiety and despair. There is no place to hide or find security. And, it’s going to get worse. Your only hope for life is in Christ.

All the promises of God in Christ are yes and amen!

Reach out to Jesus by faith.

Make a decision to live for Him.

Pray to Him for wisdom, protection, and strength.

Seek forgiveness through the blood of Christ.

Commit your works each day to Christ and live grounded in the Holy Spirit.

This will cause you to know Christ Jesus and experience His resurrected power in your life.

I alone am God. There is no one like Me. I live so you can live.

“I have come that you might have life and have it more abundantly.” John 10:10

The reality of Jesus is that He is alive and wants to be your best friend and confidant.

I want to meet you today at your point of need!

Jesus is not illusive, distant or esoteric. And, you don’t have to go to church to find Him.

Jesus wants to have a warm and embracing relationship with you. He does not live in a storybook.

Jesus wants to have conversations with you and share His life with you.

Jesus wants to give you a life you can never achieve on your own.

Jesus wants to bring quality and excellence into your family, your work, and your relationships.

Jesus wants to give you more than you think or ask.

Jesus wants to give you supernatural wisdom and protect you.

Jesus offers the gift of salvation. He wants to live in every moment of your life and deliver you from the adversities of the world.

The simple question is how can you achieve the promises of Christ?

Open your heart up to Jesus and make a decision to live for Him. This is not about religion because it will suffocate you.

Come to Jesus by faith without any preconditions! You will meet the Living Christ and your life will never be the same!

Jesus is the mirror image of God. There is no one like Him.!

“You will see Me clearly if you walk by faith believing in My promises. I want your loyalty above all else. There is no one like Me.”

God spoke to me today about how you and I can have an unimpaired vision of Christ. He is a priceless God!

Make Christ the centerpiece of your life

Live by faith seeking God out for your every need

Walk in oneness with Jesus anchored to the Holy Spirit

Come to know the revelation of Jesus and reject the constraints of religion

Seek His will for your life

Accept Jesus when you cannot understand Him

Praise Jesus

Pray diligently

Listen for the voice of Christ

Comply with the instructions of the Holy Spirit

Express your loyalty to Christ when nothing makes sense

Live in the blood of Christ

Wait on God

Let God be God

He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid. And He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?” Genesis 3:10-11

Adam knew he had violated the command of God. He heard God walking in the garden and was afraid so he hid from Him.

Most people are aware of right from wrong. If you are living for self with an aphrodisiac lifestyle you will run away from God. And, if you avoid God you can temporarily get away with your actions. There is no accountability.

God confronted Adam and asked him why he was naked. God is omniscient and knew the answer to his question before Adam responded.

Adam sinned because he chose to listen to Satan and the advice of Eve.

Adam made a decision out of his weak inner natur.

You and I have a distinct personality formed by many influences. This includes your parental upbringing, education, emotional development, genetic disposition for sin, religion, and your inherent nature to live for self.

We do not have the ability to see into the depth of our personality and make choices pleasing to God.

God sees all of your character defects. He knows you better than you know yourself.

Sin is unavoidable for a human being. The concern with God is to make you aware of your sin and help you understand what causes these behaviors and how you can avoid them.

The compassion of Christ is reflected in the words “Where sin abounds grace abounds more”. Christ died to forgive you for all your sins and He promises to heal and restore you from the wreckage of sin.

It is impossible to live a life pleasing to God unless you are open to the conviction of the Holy Spirit. He examines all of your thoughts, words, and actions looking at your motives and values.

You will find the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God by living under the authority of the Holy Spirit.

The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus will set you free from the law of sin and death. You won’t be perfect but you will be acceptable to God.

The words of Jesus:

You cannot hide your sin from Me. I see everything. The Christ follower recognizes he is sold under sin and has no hope for life without Me. Confess your sins to Me and live under the authority of the Holy Spirit. He will engrave the laws of God in your heart and you will not stumble. My ways are perfect.

“Today, if you hear his voice do not harden your hearts
as you did in the rebellion,
during the time of testing in the wilderness,
where your ancestors tested and tried me,
though for forty years they saw what I did.
That is why I was angry with that generation” Hebrews 3:8-10

Your origins started with Christ. He chose you before you were born. You have been predestined to live with God. This awesome work of God cannot be explained by the human mind. It is a wonder of our majestic God.

At some point of time in life, you hear the gospel and accept Christ by faith. The quality of your commitment to Christ will effect the development of the life of Christ within you.

If you abandon yourself to God without any limitations you will meet the Living Christ and live in oneness with Him filled with the Holy Spirit. He will become your best friend.

Most people lack the courage to make a commitment to lay down their life for Christ. They make a sincere but lukewarm decision for Christ.

God will probably accept you into His kingdom but you will lack the power of Christ in your life and will struggle with fear and doubt. God will never be alive in you. He will live in a storybook.

The growth curve in a believer is determined by only one factor. God judges you by the consistency of your faith in His promises. Jesus examines your thoughts, words, and actions to see if you are living by faith.

God wants you to live by His words and not by what you see with your eyes. Never judge God by the conditions in your life. Judge God by His Word. He never changes. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

If you are serious about God, He will take you on an unpredictable journey that will make little or no sense to you.

God wants your loyalty to be built on Him not on the outcomes in your life.

The moment of truth with God is determined by how you fulfill your earthly needs.

Do you reach out to God by faith for help to meet your every need?

Or, do you employ worldly tactics to achieve your needs disregarding the values of Christ?

The scriptures in Hebrews epitomize the heart of God about a believer.

The Israelites personally witnessed the powerful signs and wonders of God and were delivered out of slavery but they fell into unbelief. They complained bitterly and even worshipped false gods.

God became extremely angry with the Israelites over their lack of faith.

He punished the Israelites by taking them on a journey lasting forty years and then left them to die in the wilderness.

We test God by complaining about our circumstances and falling into unbelief. Are you believing in God during the pandemic or living in panic or depression?

Your purpose in Christ is to walk by faith praising Him for His greatness and glory. Cease from your striving and rest in the work of Christ crucified. This is where you will find hope, strength and a resourceful life.
