Duplicity in the Body of Christ?

“The only way you can become like minded with the Son of God is through My Spirit. He will declare to you who I am and teach you My ways.”

Do to others as you would have them do to you.” Luke 6:31

The word from God today is to check your motives. Are they self serving or reflective of the purposes of Christ?

IMG_1219

The definition of duplicity is acting with deceit. This characteristic is rampant in our society and specifically in the Body of Christ. It is imbedded deep in your heart and soul and can only be exposed by the work of the Holy Spirit.

Duplicity is camouflaged in religion by laws and works. They are justified as pleasing God but in reality are miles apart from the heart of God.

God knows you better than you know yourself. You see a glimpse of your inner self but God sees the whole picture.

The starting point each day is to commit your works to God and ask Him to fill you with His thoughts.

Pray to the Holy Spirit to search your heart and reveal any unclean motives.

Ask the Holy Spirit during the day if you are acting to please God or yourself? Are you doing to others (in your words and actions) as you would want them to do to you?

You and I are human beings and we live estranged from the heart of Christ. We cannot think or act like Christ and are only saved by the leniency of Christ.

Christ is forgiving but you have to come to Him with an open heart and a willingness to change. We are in the troubles of today because we have repeatedly violated this precept of God.

He lives so you can live!

The reality of Christ…One died for all!

“Faith is the substance of life for a believer. There is no other way to please Me. Delight yourself in who I am and I will bless the desires of your heart!”

Today the word from God is “Faithful is He that called you.”

IMG_1218

Christ Jesus is a faithful God. He keeps His Word. Jesus promised His Father “Not My will but yours be done.” This courageous act of faith provided you and I with the gift of eternal life and the resurrected power of Christ.

Jesus is faithful to His Word. This is where you will find the reality of God. He never changes. You and I have to change.

We are not faithful people. As “fallen” human beings, we want security and our faith is an up and down experience depending on the materialistic blessings of God.

The reality of God is you have to enter the narrow gate if you want the fullness of the Living Christ.

This is a heartfelt decision to abandon yourself to Christ without any limitations. In other words, you agree to find your nourishment and contentment in the bread of life.

In Him, you live and move and have your being. He is your everything! This discipline causes you to become insulated from worldly treasures and your priority is to know Christ…whatever the cost.

You can take this step by declaring your abandonment to Christ from a genuine heart with a willingness to seek first the kingdom of God above all else.

All the promises of God in Christ are yes and amen. He lives so you can live!

The perfect counsel of Christ for today!

There is a way that seems right to a man but its end is destruction.

The Word from God today is insubordination.

IMG_1217

This is the cause of what’s happening in the world. People believe they have better wisdom and judgment than Me.

Inquire of the Lord for your every need. I am a complete God and lack nothing.

I am the way, the truth and the life. Do not be deceived by false teachings or the subtle methods the world uses to replace or manipulate My words.

The authority of God brings protection and the abundant life of Christ.

Religion insists on control. I set people free.

Doubt leads to confusion. There is no variation or shadow of turning in My words. Seek out My wisdom for your life. Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.

My ways are perfect. I see all things.

I am a healing God. This is one of My most important virtues. Pray for the power of My Spirit to heal you. I am the resurrection and the life.

There is no one like Me. I live so you can live!

Impressions from the heart of Christ!

“Come to Me by faith and I will bless you abundantly. The value of the Cross is My ability to do for you what you can never do for yourself. The Cross offers you the Living Christ today and for eternity!”

If God is for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31

Here are some reflections from the mind of Christ about His feelings and desires for you and me. They came to me on a recent walk.

IMG_1214

Accept me for who I am…not how religion defines Me!

I am a God who keeps My words, there is no one like Me.

I never change. There is no variation or shadow of turning in My words.

Your destiny is in My hands, you cannot control the outcome of your life.

My purpose is for you to know the Living Christ and live with Me through My Spirit.

Don’t insult Me with your works or attempt to please Me through religion. I died to shatter all works and laws.

The works of God were completed on the Cross. Live with Me through the Cross! This is where you will find the power of My Spirit.

I see the despicable condition in the Body of Christ. It is filled with hypocrisy and unclean motives.

I abhor the evil in the world. It is contemptible and arouses My anger.

I am opposed to those with incorrigible nature who refuse to be open to My correction. They will never see My glory.

Religion minimizes the importance of walking by faith. This is upmost in My mind for every believer.

I live so you can live!

Christ comes with a vengeance to those who cross His path!

“Faith is believing that I alone am the source of every good and perfect gift. The faithful does not look else where to fulfill their needs. I am the bread of life.”

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23

The penalty of sin is death. This is why we are in this mess today.

IMG_1213

God honors His Word. The Word is perfect and will never change.

We have attempted to change the Word of God and are paying the consequences. Christ comes with a vengeance to those who have crossed His paths.

The fundamental principle of Christ is man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.

We have altered the word of God to to meet our own needs. Our motives are not clean. You cannot use God to accomplish your goals. God sets the agenda for your life not you.

The gift of God is eternal life. This gift starts with your decision for Christ and becomes a fountain of Living Water flowing into everlasting life. The gift of Christ is complete and lacks nothing.

We don’t believe this and stray outside this precious gift to meet our needs. You and I have to reckon ourselves dead to sin and alive in God.

God will take care of the religious establishment. They are under the scrutiny and intense conviction of Christ. Just focus on you and Christ.

Change comes from within through the power of the Holy Spirit. Seek Christ out above all else and He will bless you abundantly.

It is now time to awaken and meet the Living Christ!

“Come to Me with a genuine desire to be set free from sin and I will make you into a new creature in Christ Jesus. There is no like Me!”

“And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.” Romans 13:11

The calling from Christ today is for you and I to awaken from our slumber and lackluster attitudes and discover a new outlook about life.

IMG_1212

The salvation of God is coming near for every human being on this planet. It is not enough to have an unfounded belief in Christ or a passing fancy about Him.

The conviction of Christ is for all to cast off the works of darkness and return to the armor of light.

You can no longer straddle the line between enjoying fleshly indulgences and lingering in Christ.

If you are serious about God, the wild sprees, drunkenness, lewd thoughts and actions, living with anger or bitterness, and envy for what others have must come to a screeching end.

The remedy is to put on the Lord Jesus Christ and make no provision for your flesh to fulfill its lusts. The challenge is how do you do this?

The only way you will ever be able to obey this calling from God is to abide in the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus. This will set you free from the law of sin and death.

Invite the Holy Spirit to have authority over all sin in your life and you will be able to wear the untarnished robes of Christ!

It is time to meet the Living Christ!

Finding the vibrancy of Christ for today!

“I have come to give you an abundant life. Look for My life today not in the future. The life of Christ comes through My words which are alive and powerful. Ask the Holy Spirit to fill you with the vibrancy of who I am.”

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.” Matthew 24:35

Abomination is the word from God today. It implies hate, evil, or a sinful condition. This is how God views our world.

IMG_1202
I will never leave you or forsake you.

Jesus spoke the scripture in the book of Matthew in context to the end times. We are just in the beginning stages of the desolation of the earth under the powerful hand of God.

The Word of God created the heavens and the earth, the Word holds it together, and the Word will bring it to an end.

There is no place to hide or find an escape from the plans of God. The only sanctuary is to live in the words of Christ.

This is the perfect symmetry of scripture and the voice of God. You require both to find the reality and fullness of the Living Christ.

Regardless of the deadly Coronavirus or other horrors coming our way, there is salvation in the words of God. This is a living salvation and covers your every need for today.

Christ lives in the moment. Come to Jesus today and inquire of Him for wisdom, protection, and strength. He wants to be your best friend and your Keeper. Be still and listen for His voice. This is your only sanctuary!

He lives so you can live today!

Naivety in the Body of Christ!

“The naivety in the Body of Christ is a failure to accept Me for who I am. My purpose is for you to live by faith believing all My promises are yes and amen. Come to know Me by demonstrating vigilant faith in every detail of your life and living with Me through the vibrancy of the Spirit of Christ.”

Abraham believed God and He credited it to him as righteousness.” Genesis 15:6

Good morning, the word from God today is “naivety” which is a lack of experience, wisdom, or judgment. This refers to understanding the nature God and how to identify with Him.

IMG_1201

God wants you and I to be vigilant in our faith in Christ. This requires the end of “play acting” and adopting the reality of a living faith. Abraham walked by faith believing every word spoken to Him by God.

The Bible teaches us to lean not to our own understanding but to seek the wisdom and knowledge of God.

The naivety in the Body is a lack of insight into the purposes of Christ. The purposes have little or nothing to do with laws or religion.

To grasp this concept, there has to be a witness from the Living Christ touching the depth of your heart that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

This is the premise of life for a believer. And, you can never overcome this condition. Sin lives within you!

The challenge becomes how to deal with this predicament? The blood of Christ will cover your sins and begin the process of building the character of God inside you. However, your inner nature never goes away.

God has no ego but you and I are self driven people—regardless of who you are, your status in life, or your perceived righteousness.

There is only one way to overcome this failure to identify with God. The principle of faith in Christ has to come alive in the depth of your heart and become your priority and essence for life.

This is the reality of Christ. “My help comes from the Lord who created the heavens and the earth.” This has to be the reason for your existence. Nothing else matters. Forget about keeping laws or religious activities. They have little or no value in developing a closeness with God.

Without faith you cannot please God! Your faith in Christ will make you whole and open the kingdom of God to your eyes.

The righteous shall live by faith!

Reflections of Christ!

“The decay in the Body of Christ has taken place because I have been replaced by laws, works, and religion. Come to Me with vigilant faith based on My promises. I simply want your openness of heart to seek Me out for who I am.”

Help, Lord, for the godly man ceases!
for the faithful disappear from among the sons of men.” Psalm 12:1

The word from God today is regression. This is a trend toward a lower or less perfect state.

IMG_1199

As a believer, we are accountable to a higher standard of living based on the values of Christ. You and I belong to the “set apart” people of Christ.

We are cherished by God and are called to reflect the glory, praise, and honor of His character.

We are to be radically different than a non believer. All should see the light of Christ flowing out of us in our words, actions, and demeanor.

The reality is we look and act no different than a non believer. This regression has happened because of apathy in the Body of Christ and the lack of living under the authority and fullness of the Holy Spirit.

We have failed God and are suffering because of our lack of respect for who Christ is.

Now is the time to take off the shackles of religion and return to the Living Christ.

You will find Christ by abandoning yourself to Him without any conditions and seeking the fullness of the Holy Spirit in your life.

Don’t wait any longer or you may be too late!

Seeking the favor of Christ!

“There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is destruction. Lean not to your own understanding but consult with Me.”

For they did not gain possession of the land by their own sword nor did their own arm save them; but it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your countenance, because You favored them.” Psalm 44:3

Without the favor of God you and I are doomed.

IMG_1198

In the context of this Psalm, David is recalling the plight of the Israelites and how the hand of almighty God rescued them.

When God chooses to remove His favor, you are helpless. You can try numerous remedies but they will all fail. You lack the strength and power of God. You cannot save yourself!

You might be worshipping God fervently in Spirit and Truth but this will have no avail without the favor of God.

God removes His favor because of sin. And, He does this to get your attention.

Sometimes, He will remove His favor to test your faith and build the character of Christ within you. Job is a perfect example of this action.

Today, we are suffering simply because of sin. We have made choices to reject Christ and live for self. And, religion has manifested this plague by whitewashing the truths of God.

God is not asleep today or oblivious to the events of the world. He is bringing judgment upon us for our actions. This plague will end in the perfect timing of God.

Today, you and I have to recognize the greatness and glory of God and ask Him, “What can I do to please you?”

Now is the time to get right with God and wait upon Him. It is not by might nor by power but by My Spirit.

There is a powerful revival coming. This will be like something that has never happened before! You will witness the Living Christ in action!
