The fear of the Lord is your key to a victorious life!

Thought for the day: “There is no one like Me. I raise people from the dead back to life.”

And no one could withstand them, because fear of them fell upon all people.” Esther 9:2

This is an amazing story in the Book of Esther illustrating God’s favor upon His chosen people. The Jews lived in captivity in a foreign country and were on the verge of becoming destroyed by a plot conceived by Haman, who was appointed as the most powerful servant of the king.

This is a story of twisted motives, deception, and a king who enjoyed a lavish lifestyle and lacked godly wisdom.

God raised up Esther, a young Jewish lady without a mother or father, to become Queen and favored her and Mordecai, her uncle, to save the Jews and to destroy all their enemies while living in a country hostile to their beliefs.

This story is not about a chapter in history it is alive today. If you are a believer, the power and anointing of God is over you. God can do great things through you regardless of your place in society. Nothing is impossible with God.

Walk with God and the fear of the Lord will fall upon all those around you. If God is for you, who can be against you.

The underlying truth in this story is to keep your motives pure and honor almighty God. You can only do this by submitting yourself to God with a desire to do His will.

No one can compare to God. He is indestructible! So the most important thing you can do is love Him with all your heart and be obedient to His voice. Seek God out through praise, prayer, and His Word.

Become one with God and He will raise you up to destroy evil and do powerful things for His kingdom. He who is within you is greater than he who is in the world!

Don’t settle for mediocrity with God! He wants to do mighty things through you. He is a God of overflowing goodness!

  1. This blog this morning really lifted me up. Hal you always seem to write just what I needed to hear. God be with you; and keep you safe from the fires.
