“And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.” John 3:19
The message from Jesus today asks where do you personally stand in the rise of immorality in the world? Do you love living for self with no rules to obey?
The world is drastically shifting from righteousness to darkness and this deadly slide will continue.
The truth is rejecting Jesus brings destruction and death. There is no free pass.
We live in the End Times and life will never be the same as in the past. Jesus is allowing the work of Satan to influence world leaders and our society. We have turned away from the founding principles of God, family values and democracy. They are lost.
The Christ follower has a choice to resist this trend of darkness and live in the values of Jesus.
Christianity does not offer a viable solution. They attempt to fight off darkness with laws, works and regulations.
Religion desires to control and Jesus wants to give a believer freedom.
The poison of Satan has to be confronted through prayer, reading the Bible and listening to the voice of Jesus. We walk by faith believing in the promises of Jesus.
There is a place today for the Christ follower to be a powerful witness for Jesus. This happens by developing a personal and symbiotic relationship with Jesus. The believer must literally agree to die to self and live for Jesus. Then he can be a powerful influencer for Jesus and a lethal weapon against Satan.
The authenticity of Jesus causes changes in human nature. This only happens to those connected to the Holy Spirit and submitting to His authority. The believer is just spinning his wheels and going nowhere through religion. It is not by might nor by strength but by the Spirit. This is how Jesus works.
Prayer and intercession under the power of the Holy Spirit brings down strongholds and scares Satan. He knows his time is limited and his eternal destination. But He is not going to repent or change.
It is time to get on the right team and submit to Jesus. He can do for you what you can never do for yourself!
