Seeking Jesus, abiding in Him and seeing His beauty!

“One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord,” Psalm 27:4

I woke up feeling anger and frustration with God. He directed me to this Psalm and I found peace and comfort through His words. Jesus thinks and acts in ways that are difficult to understand. I have to accept Jesus for who He is and live in His promises.

This beautiful Psalm instructs believers with the fundamentals of Jesus.

We seek Jesus through prayer, reading the Bible, and listening for His voice.

We surrender all to Jesus and diligently seek His perfect will for our lives.

We dwell in the house of the Lord through the Holy Spirit. He is the life of Jesus and is sealed in all believers. We submit to His authority, conviction, and wise counsel.

We find the beauty and simplicity of life through the presence of Jesus.

The world is filled with darkness and evil. It is not your friend. Build your life on the values of Jesus and sever your ties to the world.

Jesus wants all of you. He will not share His life with other gods or idols. Come to the Lord with a clean slate through the blood of Jesus.

Jesus is your only hope for the future. He desires to have a personal and symbiotic relationship with a believer void of religion and regulations.

You will impress Jesus with unshakable faith and responding with obedience to His instructions.

If you have questions or need prayer I am here for you. Jesus loves you!

Finding the secret place of Jesus!

I was astonished after driving over four hours yesterday and seeing the beauty of the Lord at sunset!

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalm 91:1

We all desperately need to be covered by the shadow of the almighty God with His powerful protection living in the End Times.

This promise requires a believer to live in the secret place of Jesus.

The secret place is the perfect will of Jesus and has nothing to do with the world.

The believer can find the secret place by surrendering to Jesus and be willing to die to self and live for Him.

The secret place is Pure and Holy. It can be found by prayer, reading the Word, and listening and obeying the voice of God.

The Holy Spirit will lead a believer into the secret place. He is the life of Jesus sealed in a believer and we must submit to His authority, conviction and counsel.

He speaks for Jesus and will always bring glory to the name of Jesus.

The secret place abounds with powerful angels and heavenly signs and wonders.

There is no darkness in the secret place because it is covered with the blood of Jesus.

The key to open the door to the secret place is “Not my will but Yours be done”.

Walk by faith with Jesus believing in His promises and not what you see with your eyes. Jesus is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

If you have questions or need prayer please reach out to me and I will respond promptly. The secret place of Jesus is in your heart!

Operating with the justice of Jesus!

“For the Lord loves justice, and does not forsake His saints; They are preserved forever” Psalm 37:28

The concept of biblical justice comes from the heart and character of God.

The mere mortal cannot operate with the justice of God. He act cannot think or act like Jesus. He must be transformed into a new creature in Christ Jesus with the mind of the Most High.

God rules with fairness, moral righteousness, and cares deeply about the marginalized, deprived and poor.

The Jesus follower is preserved forever by the justice of God and will never be abandoned by the Lord.

The justice of God is not based on laws but on the unconditional love of Jesus and restoring those who have suffered injustice.

The Christ follower can be rooted in the justice of God through prayer, reading the Bible, and listening for the voice of Jesus.

David was an excellent example of ruling with justice in all of his endeavors because the Spirit of God gave him the mind of the Divine Presence.

The justice of Jesus does not conform to the world. The justice is based on the mercy and compassion of Jesus.

The justice of Jesus rules in the favor of those who are committed to living for Jesus and seeking His will for their life.

The justice of Jesus is making decisions with the mind of Christ. We have to be anchored in the Holy Spirit and operating under His authority.

The justice of Jesus looks at a believer and evaluates all His decisions. We are accountable for all of our actions and when we stumble or make a poor decision Jesus will discipline a believer.

If you have questions or need prayer please reach out to me and I will promptly respond. Commit your works each day to God and He will fill you with His thoughts. Jesus reminded me today that He is perfect and knows exactly what He is doing!

Jesus takes the garbage in your life and makes it good!

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28

We all have made mistakes in life and at times have been consumed with compulsive behaviors and impure motives. The good news is Jesus has wiped the slate clean.

Turning the garbage into the goodness of God requires two conditions. The believer must love Jesus and be living in His perfect will.

Jesus knows that sin abounds everywhere in the world but his unconditional love abounds more. He died to forgive all sin and offer every human being the gift of salvation. Jesus conquered sin with His sacrifice and matchless love.

Loving Jesus does not happen through intellect, works, or emotions. And, religion turns Jesus off.

We love Jesus by walking in oneness with Him by faith and obedience. We build a personal and embracing relationship with Jesus by prayer, reading the Bible and listening for His voice.

Jesus wants your obedience to His instructions without hesitation regardless of the personal cost or lack of logic. This is a very important discipline of loving Jesus.

The most important goal is to zealously seek the perfect will of God and to be operating in His purposes. We do this by giving the Holy Spirit authority over our life and seeking His omniscient wisdom.

The Holy Spirit will keep you clean with the Most High through the blood of Jesus and expose anything you are doing that grieves His Spirit.

The will of God is to be a powerful witness for Jesus in all your endeavors.

If you have questions or need prayer please reach out to me and I will respond quickly. Take Jesus seriously and you will encounter the Living Christ!

Hearing the voice of Jesus!

“But we have the mind of Christ” 1 Corinthians 2:16

God created His people to hear His voice. If you are a believer Jesus has given you the mind of Christ.

How can a believer do the will of Jesus without His guidance?

The Bible instructs believers to inquire of the Lord in all our decision making.

The reason believers don’t hear the voice of Jesus is they do not listen. Jesus speaks through the Holy Spirit to a believer. The Holy Spirit is the life of Jesus and is sealed in a believer.

The Christ follower must submit to the authority of the Holy Spirit and invite Him to guide a believer. The reality of Jesus will amaze you as He speaks to you in all the moments of life.

Jesus speaks by putting His thoughts into your mind.

During prayer time with Jesus learn to clear all the clutter of your thoughts and be silent waiting upon His voice. Ask Jesus to show you the priorities in your life and what you need to let go of and you will hear His voice.

Jesus desires to have a consistent dialogue with a believer. This will become a reality as you pray, read the Bible, and listen for His voice.

The Christ follower must be covered by the blood of Jesus and have an open heart to change to interact with Jesus.

Jesus desires for a believer to walk by faith and be obedient to His voice. When Jesus issues instructions we must comply without hesitation or compromise. This will nourish your relationship with Jesus and increase His powerful presence into your life.

If you have questions or need prayer please reach out to me and I will respond quickly. Jesus desires to have a personal and embracing relationship with you. He is very accessible!

The prejudiced Christ follower!

“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” Matthew 7:13-14

The Holy Spirit gave me a dream last night about the life of a prejudiced Christ follower.

The biblical view of prejudice is a spiritual belief that is not based on intellect or worldly values.

The Christ follower is highly prejudiced in the truths of Jesus and is grounded in the Most High. He lives for Jesus!

In the dream I saw many believers who stumbled through life, made many mistakes and vacillated between God and worldly living.

I also saw the lives of many of the prejudiced believers. They were favored by the hand of God and went to a highly respected college and received an excellent education preparing them for the future. They married the perfect spouse, and worked in a high paying and personally rewarding position.

We cannot go back to the past but we can go forward living prejudiced on Jesus.

I stumbled through life until I was in my mid thirties and then met the Living Christ. I deeply regretted my prior life without Jesus because I missed out on His goodness and powerful presence.

Very few enter the narrow gate because it is very difficult and life changing. The believer must die to self and live for Jesus. It is not a life of living in utopia but facing troubles and adversity.

It is not too late to enter the narrow gate. We live in the End Times and need the protection of Jesus and His powerful promises.

Young people desperately need Jesus to avoid the darkness of the world.

Become a prejudiced believer by prayer, reading the Bible, and listening for the voice of God. Concentrate on Jesus anchored to the Holy Spirit.

The most important goal is to seek the perfect will of God living by faith and obedience to Jesus.

If you have questions or need prayer please reach out to me and I will respond promptly. Pray for the life of a prejudiced believer grounded in Christ. Jesus will do for you what you can never do for yourself!

Finding the strength of Jesus in your utter emptiness!

“My strength is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9

I have learned when I wake up in the morning the most important priority is to seek Jesus. He can make my day or break it. Jesus wants me to rest in Him and let the reality and presence of the Most High do all the work.

The strength of Jesus has no limits. He can give a believer the supernatural strength to deal with any trouble in his life. The strength of Jesus comes from Heaven and cannot be found on the earth.

Jesus wants you to come to Him in weakness recognizing the human body is void of God and cannot relate to Jesus.

The ego residing in your inner nature at birth brings destruction. Self motivation or intellect will never bring the presence of Jesus. We have to see our utter poverty and reach out to God.

The strength of God comes to those who live for Jesus above all else. We have to let go and trust Jesus. He is perfect.

Self sufficiency has to die and dependence on Jesus has to soar to new heights.

I can do all things through Jesus who gives me the strength through the Holy Spirit. He lives in a believer and is the life of Jesus. Submit to the authority of the Holy Spirit and He will fill you with His powerful attributes.

Ask Jesus by faith for strength with a humble and contrite heart. He will never fail you!

If you have any questions or need prayer please reach out to me. I will respond promptly. Go in the strength of Jesus today! He loves you unconditionally.

Jesus reminded me salvation is not a slam dunk!

“If, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.” Philippians 3:11

The gift of salvation is a journey with Jesus to a new destination.

If you make a decision for Jesus, He promises you can live with Him forever but what does the road ahead look like.

Jan and I have experienced the loss of every important material thing in our life and have suffered deep hurt from those who question our faith. We have also been verbally attacked through religion. This has not been an easy journey.

Salvation is dying to self and living for Jesus. This is very difficult and at times painful. We have to let go and give up our independence and control.

The inner nature of a believer is not in accord with Jesus. We all have huge egos and want a prosperous life. And, we cannot think or act like Jesus. At times, we are miles apart from the divine presence.

The Bible instructs believers to work out their salvation with fear and trembling. This doesn’t make sense until you meet the Living Christ and experience His greatness and glory.

The mere mortal will fall on his knees in the presence of Jesus and desperately attempt to escape from His trembling fear. The Israelites would not get close to God when He was on Mount Sinai. They were terrified of Him.

When I met Jesus many years ago it was the most terrifying experience in my life. After the encounter I knew Jesus could destroy an enemy nation in a split second. Nothing is impossible for Him!

Salvation is filled with troubles and different seasons with God. There can be abundance and deprivation.

The goal is to walk in oneness with Jesus by faith anchored to the Holy Spirit.

The most important priority is to seek the perfect will of God for your life and trust Him for His powerful promises!

If you have questions or need prayer please contact me and I will respond promptly. Your life might not make sense to you but it makes perfect sense to God!

Seeking the help of Jesus or choosing to go it alone!

“My help comes from the Lord, who created the heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:2

The Holy Spirit told me this is a decision every human being has to make and is determined by the reality of Jesus in an individual. Jesus said most believers vacillate between God and the world. They don’t see how the creative work of God can be in every moment of their life.

King David had an epiphany of truth about God and devoted his life to the Most High. He reached out to God for his every need and lived by faith.

David made a lot of mistakes in life and had many ups and downs. But he loved God and attempted to live in his righteousness. God anointed David powerfully with the Spirit of God and poured out His favor on David.

God witnessed every thought and action of David and his heart’s desire to do the will of God.

The Lord saw all the strength and weaknesses of David and made an unequivocal commitment to honor David.

David is just like me and every other human being. We make mistakes, stumble and have to face many troubles.

The defining difference is taking Jesus seriously and vigilantly seeking His will for our lives. We have to let go and concentrate on Jesus yielding to the Holy Spirit dwelling within a believer.

Jesus measures a believer by their faith and obedience to Him. We  have to respond promptly and without hesitation to the commands of Jesus regardless of the personal cost or lack of logic.

Jesus is not looking for perfection but a heart devoted entirely to Him! For in Jesus, we live and move and have our being.

If you have questions or need prayer please reach out to me and I will respond promptly. The efficacy of Jesus is He keeps His promises. Have a good day!
