Reconciling your words with Jesus!

“Does a spring send forth fresh water and bitter from the same opening?” James 3:11

Jesus told me today our words are to be intrinsic with the nature of God.

We damage our relationship with Jesus with our words. We tend to speak freely without the restraints of the Holy Spirit. We speak praise and honor to God and in the next moment we demean others.

There is very little spiritual discipline in the words of most believers. We are members of the “set apart” people of Jesus and are instructed to speak words of praise, renown and glory pleasing the Most High.

I pray every day that my words will be filled with the fruits of the Spirit and reflect love, kindness, and patience. I ask God to help me not to react to what is said to me or respond with anger when I encounter difficulties. I fail many times but always come back seeking the divine nature of Jesus.

Religion gives you rules but has no corrective power. Religion is an example of hypocrisy because the leaders tell you how to live and then turn around and violate the truths of Jesus.

The solution to purifying our words with Jesus is to submit to the Holy Spirit and invite Him to have authority over our life. He lives in all believers and desires to transform a believer into the character of Jesus.

Pray for the discipline of Jesus to be alive in your words. Jesus desires for a believer to be a river of Living Water touching all those in his life.

Wasting time relying on human strength or finding victory in the strength of Jesus!

“My strength is made perfect in your weakness.”

2 Corinthians 12:9

Human strength is fragile and comes and goes with your emotions. It is weakened by striving and dealing with the darkness in the world.

The strength of Jesus comes to those who recognize their vulnerabilities compared to the power of God.

Jesus provides supernatural strength to those who have met the Living Christ. Like Isaiah they have personally experienced the transfigured Christ.

Isaiah said “Woe unto Me. I am ruined”

The strength of the Most High comes to those who seek Jesus with a humble and contrite heart. They know He is their only hope for help.

We have to look deeper than our human reality and dwell in the divine presence of our majestic God.

We do this by seeking the will of Jesus through prayer, reading the Bible and listening for the voice of God.

We make a decision to live for Jesus above all else and He gives believers the gift of salvation and fills them with His life.

The strength of Jesus comes to those who submit to the Holy Spirit and live under His authority. He is the life of Christ and your only hope in this world. You will never find Jesus in religion.

We live in the End Times and Jesus is your only reality and source for strength.

Come to Jesus with an open heart. Walk by faith and be obedient to His voice!

Jesus will amaze you with His unlimited strength!

How the protection of God comes to a Christ follower?

“No weapon formed against you shall prosper” Isaiah 54:17

God does not hand out His promises without compliance. The believer must take Jesus seriously.

The promises of God will not be evident without proving your faith and obedience to the Most High.

Walking with Jesus is a symbolic commitment. The believer is obligated to seek the will of Jesus through prayer, reading the Bible and listening for His voice.

The most important measurement is your heart relationship with Jesus. Are you living for Jesus without any boundaries? Jesus wants all of you. He will not share you with false gods or idols.

The decision for Jesus requires a believer to die to self and live for Jesus. The “born again” believer seeks repentance and the blood of Christ. He has an open heart to change and correction.

Jesus asks a believer to give up his independence and rights to himself.

The believer lives under the authority of the Holy Spirit and submits to His instructions with obedience.

The protection of the Most High comes to those who are sold out for Jesus and walk with Him in unyielding faith.

The follower of Jesus wakes up each day seeking the reality of the Living Christ!

The counsel of Jesus when you are in a tough spot!

“Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord”

Exodus 14:13

Nothing could be more freighting than standing next to a river with a strong army approaching to kill you. This is what the Israelites faced after their exit from Egypt.

Moses told the Israelites to “Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord” and all were delivered by the hand of God.

The teaching for today is for all believers who are in a perilous situation with no place to turn. The most important thing is to be in touch with Jesus through the Holy Spirit.

We cannot rationalize the wisdom of Jesus. He works in unpredictable and divine ways.

God keeps His promises and many times they come at the last moment to deliver a believer. God told me believers must be brazen which means bold and without shame.

If God is for you who can be against you. The most important spiritual advice is to be sure you are in the perfect will of God and not motivated by fear or making impulsive decisions.

This happens by praying, reading the Bible and listening for the voice of Jesus. Ask Jesus to confirm His perfect will and wait on Him.

The Jesus follower has the mind of Christ. Concentrate on Jesus and free all other thoughts from your mind. Jesus will speak through the Holy Spirit with His omniscient wisdom.

Jesus promises to deliver His people from troubles and adversity.

Wait on Jesus with confidence and unyielding faith.

Jesus is a perfect God!

The earth shattering power of Jesus!

“With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible,” Matthew 19:26

The Holy Spirit told me last night to teach believers how to envelop their life in Jesus. He wants His people to experience the power and strength of Jesus and live with the order and simplicity of the Most High.

Jesus is the most powerful force in our universe. Jesus was with God from the very beginning. God gave Him authority over the heavens and earth.

Jesus can raise dead people back to life, he can walk on water, He can control the weather conditions, He can heal human beings from any form of illness or disease. He can defeat an enemy nation in a split second.

Jesus can shake the earth and turn the sun into darkness. He can release the stars to fall to the earth.

Jesus is unconditional love with no prejudices. Jesus has no ego and does not think or act like a human.  He is a meek and humble God.

Nothing is impossible for Jesus. He controls an army of powerful angels to protect His people and fight off darkness.

Jesus has the power to give a mere mortal the gift of salvation and seal his body with the life of Jesus.

Jesus is alive today and at work. He is very accessible to anyone who seeks Him. Jesus gave up His life to share His divine and powerful attributes with all believers.

The strength of Christ is supernatural with no limits and is reserved for any believer. Ask and you will receive!

Jesus is omniscient and knows you better than you know yourself. He knows every detail of your past and future. He is your only protection in the End Times.

Come to Jesus today! He can do for you what you can never do for yourself.

Developing a symbiotic relationship with the Living Christ!

“That they may be one even as we are one” John 17:22

The Holy Spirit has taught me this important spiritual principle for those who want to live in the authenticity of the Living Christ.

The word symbiotic is defined as a mutually beneficial relationship between two parties. In the spiritual context, we are referring to a human being and Jesus.

The relationship cannot be built on intellect or religion. The union begins with making a decision to live for Jesus above all else. This is letting go of your personal desires and independence.

Jesus is alive and very approachable. He desires to have an intimate and symbiotic relationship with a believer.

IThe believer has specific responsibilities to Jesus in this symbiotic arrangement. He must live with unshakable faith and commit to knowing Jesus through prayer, reading the Bible, and listening for His voice.

This is a contract between Jesus and a believer. Jesus gives you the gift of salvation enabling you to live with Him forever. And, he seals a believer with His body which is the Holy Spirit.

The believer becomes a new creature in Christ Jesus through a “born again” transformation into the character of Jesus. The believer learns how to live by spiritual truths and hears the voice of Jesus with regularity.

The promises of Jesus belong to His followers. They trust the promises and not what they see with their eyes.

Jesus shares His life with His people through the Holy Spirit. The believer is entitled to all the powerful attributes of Jesus including His omniscient wisdom, strength, joy and protection.

The believer agrees to vigilantly seek the perfect will of Jesus by abiding in His divine presence.

The believer must be obedient to the instructions of Jesus whether they are costly, seem unpredictable or lack any logic.

Jesus measures a believer by His faith and obedience.

The believer must be clean with the blood of Jesus and not have anything blocking his relationship with the Lord. He must have an open heart to change.

The believer agrees to walk with Jesus anchored to the Holy Spirit and living under His authority. This will bring the presence of Jesus into all the moments of life.

For in Him, we live and move and have our being!

Life with Jesus stationary or mobile?

“As the Father has sent Me I also send you.” John 20:21

The Christ follower is not called to be an isolated or dormant witness for Jesus. Walking with the Most High is not hiding in religion or limiting Jesus to Sundays.

The message of salvation is always moving and touching unbelievers all over the world.

As a “set apart” believer we are sent out into the world to introduce people in our lives to the Living Water.

This does not mean everyone is anointed to be an evangelist but we are to be a strong light for Jesus.

The preparation to be an ambassador for Jesus is through prayer, reading the Bible and listening for the voice of God.

We have to develop a personal and deep relationship with Jesus built on faith and obedience. The believer has to be living the life of Jesus to be a viable witness.

The only way to be a powerful witness for Jesus is to be operating under the authority of the Holy Spirit. He is the life of Jesus and the authenticity of the divine presence. The goal is when you engage with unbelievers they don’t see you; they see the Living Christ.

We must be clean with Jesus through the blood of Christ with nothing standing in the way of our relationship with Him.

Pray for a powerful anointing from Jesus and zealously seek His perfect will for your life!

Changing the ugly into the goodness of Jesus!

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28

We all know that many things have happened in our lives that are not good. We are ego driven people who want to please our own desires. We make many mistakes because of compulsive behaviors or impure motives.

God uses our mistakes to change our values and beliefs into conforming to the character of Jesus. Where sin abounded in our life grace (love) abounded much more. The unconditional love of God covers sin.

The caveats to the promise of goodness is loving Jesus and seeking His good, acceptable and perfect will. This is the purpose of Jesus for all believers, to live in oneness with Him.

We love Jesus by making a decision to live for Him above all else.

We seek a personal and deep relationship with Jesus through prayer, reading the Word, and listening for His voice. The priorities in our lives is walking by faith and learning obedience to Jesus.

We understand Jesus desires that we get to know Him personally and be conformed to His character and not seek works or religion.

We are all human beings with an inner nature to live for self and defy or place boundaries on our life with Jesus. This can only be overcome by repentance and the blood of Jesus. Develop a discipline of asking God each day to reveal anything you are thinking or doing that grieves the Holy Spirit.

The only way a believer can experience the reality of the Living Christ is by submitting to the authority of the Holy Spirit. He is sealed in all believers and is the life of Jesus.

Commit your works each day to the Holy Spirit and He will be a strong presence in your life.

Jesus is the way the truth and the life!

Resting in Jesus or striving to make ends meet!

“There remaineth therefore a rest for the people of God.” Hebrews 4:9

The principle of rest is a very important discipline for a Christ follower. God created the heaven and earth and every living being in six days and He rested on the seventh day.

Rest comes by making a decision to live for Jesus. We accept the words of Jesus “Not my will but Yours be done”. Jesus died to give you His salvation rest.

Resting in Jesus is living by faith and obedience to the Most High.

The Israelites did not enter into the rest of Jesus after they were delivered from the bondage of slavery in Egypt. They complained, turned away from God and some worshiped a false God. They were disobedient to God.

This made God angry and He punished all of the adults. They were not allowed to enter the Promised Land and died in the wilderness.

The Bible teaches it is not by might nor by power but by My Spirit.

We wait on the Holy Spirit to guide our pathway and provide the strength to meet the challenges of life.

We live in the End Times and the attacks of Satan bring destruction and death. The rest of Jesus brings peace and protection.

The Christ follower walks in oneness with Jesus yielding to the Holy Spirit. He will provide the omniscient wisdom of Jesus and guide your footsteps.

He will teach a believer to resist making impatient decisions or striving through the flesh to fulfill his needs.

We rest in Jesus by praying vigilantly, reading the Word and listening for His voice. We believe in the promises of Jesus and not what we see with our eyes.

Jesus desires to be a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your pathway. The Holy Spirit provides order and simplicity in life if you submit to His authority.

Resting in Jesus will guide you into His good, acceptable and perfect will.

Jesus delivers His people from troubles by resting in Him with unshakable faith.

The perfect example of resting in Jesus!

Jehoshaphat, the King of Judah, was besieged by three enemy nations. They planned to destroy Judah.

Jehoshaphat fasted and prayed to God. The Spirit of God spoke to the King and said do not be afraid for the battle is not yours, but God’s. Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.

Jehoshaphat followed God’s instructions and received a miracle victory without a battle.

Straddling between Jesus and seeking your worldly needs!

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:33

The Holy Spirit told me last night a believer cannot play on both sides of the field. Jesus is the priority.

There is a caveat in receiving the goodness of Jesus. You cannot straddle between Jesus and fulfilling your worldly needs.

Jesus gave all believers very clear and explicit instructions about the priorities of a Christ follower. We are to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and then He will add all the other things required of life.

There is a distorted teaching in Christianity that a believer must follow rules and do works to receive the goodness of Jesus. This is a heresy.

The purpose of a believer is to develop a personal and deep relationship with Jesus built on faith and obedience to His instructions.

The priority is to commit to zealous prayer, reading the Bible and listening for the voice of Jesus. This discipline will teach you the perfect will of Jesus.

To stay on track with the priorities of Jesus the believer must invite the Holy Spirit to have authority over His life. This will bring the reality of the Living Christ into all the moments of life.

We stray away from Jesus when our motives turn to  meeting our needs through worldly thinking and actions. To avoid this behavior take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.

Jesus performed many signs and wonders in His ministry but he told His followers that they do not want the principles of Jesus; they want His protection and security.

There is a priority in walking with Jesus to achieve the fullness of His life. Jesus never changes. He is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Come to Jesus for who He is and not what you can get from Him!
