The calling of Jesus; luke warm or fully accepted!

This is what I woke up to see today. The beauty of the Lord is breathtaking!

“Walk worthy of the calling with which you were called.” Ephesians 4:1

The calling of Jesus is to take Him seriously and vigilantly seek His will for your life. Jesus wants all of a believer and will not share His life with false gods or idols.

The calling of Jesus is the unconditional love of the Most High to give a human being a new life with Jesus lasting forever. It can never be earned or deserved.

The calling of Jesus is a decision to accept the gift of salvation. This gift is not about time; it is the beginning of a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus.

Walk worthy in this calling by seeking the will of God for your life through prayer, reading the Bible and listening for the voice of Jesus.

The calling is to develop a personal and embracing relationship with Jesus built on faith and obedience.

Walking with Jesus is not about religion or regulations. It is living in oneness with Jesus anchored to the Holy Spirit.

The believer must get to know Jesus personally, hear His voice and learn His values.

The calling is to become a new creature in Christ. The believer must be willing to die to self and live for Jesus.

Most believers are unwilling to let go completely and will never experience the reality and greatness of Jesus. They cannot break away from compulsive behaviors and the ties to the world.

The calling is to confess our sins, seek repentance and ask to be forgiven and purified by the blood of Jesus.

Your natural life at birth is of no value to Jesus. He wants to relate to a new creature in Christ who is loyal and dedicated to Him.

The calling is a process of becoming transformed into the personality and character of Jesus. This can be very difficult and painful at times because the believer must give up his rights and independence.

The calling of Jesus is a command to live under the authority of the Holy Spirit. He is the life of Christ and is sealed in all believers.

This will introduce a believer to the reality of the Living Christ and Jesus will be very powerful and present in all the moments of life.

Jesus is worth giving up your life for His greatness!

Seeking the perfect wisdom of Jesus or making flawed human decisions!

“There is a way that seems right to a man but its end is the way of death.” Proverbs 14:12

This narrative is a discussion of how to make good decisions and avoid damaging consequences.

The biggest mistake people make is trusting their inner nature in decision making. It’s like if it feels good do it.

Every human being is born with a human nature to live for self and defy God. The natural man cannot look into the depth of his personality to see the compulsive behaviors, immorality and evil intentions. God sees everything and knows a man better than he knows himself.

The defining characteristic in decision making is to seek the counsel of Jesus or face disaster.

Jesus is omniscient which means He knows every detail of your life from birth to the end. Nothing is hidden from Him.

How can a human being reject the priceless wisdom and protection of Jesus?

Jesus desires to give a believer an eternal life filled with His goodness and the world offers destruction and eventual death.

The method to making godly decisions is to pray, read the Bible and listen for the voice of God.

The safety net is the Holy Spirit. He is the life of Jesus and sealed in all believers. Invite the Holy Spirit to have authority over your life. Listen and follow His instructions. He speaks for Jesus!

The perfect advice to walk with Jesus!

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6

If you have questions or need prayer please reach out to me and I will respond promptly. I have learned over many years to make decisions with the wisdom of Jesus or suffer terribly.

The powerful secret of resting in Jesus!

“For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.” Hebrews 4:10

This spiritual truth will dramatically change your life and bring the simplicity and order of Jesus.

Jan and I left our home with all our furniture in a storage unit six weeks ago and started a journey ordained by God to begin a new ministry. We have very little money or specific direction and are resting in Jesus.

Jesus has met all our food and lodging needs but most of the time it is at the very last moment. This is nerve racking and creates anger and frustration at times. We acknowledge Jesus has our back!

The example of resting in God comes from the creation story. God created the heavens and earth in six days and rested on the seventh day.

Jesus is telling believers to cease from striving (or works) and rest in God.

This is an instruction to walk by faith and wait upon God.

This is like the instructions to King Jehoshaphat to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord while three enemy tribes were coming to destroy Judah.

We have to learn the discipline of trusting the Spirit of God. It is not by might nor by power but by My Spirit.

We do not need to panic or take worldly measures to avoid danger. Jesus has our back.

Resting in Jesus is drawing upon His powerful attributes through prayer, reading the Word and listening for His voice.

Resting is not sitting idly; it is operating in the perfect will of God.

The Holy Spirit is how you rest in Jesus. He is the life of Jesus and is alive in all believers.

Submit to the authority of the Holy Spirit and He will guide your footsteps into the green pastures and still waters of Jesus. He will show you the priorities of life and what to let go of.

Resting is trusting Jesus to protect and deliver a believer from adversity.

If you have questions or need prayer please reach out to me. I will respond promptly!

Defining the greatness of Jesus and the weakness of man!

“Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite” Psalm 147:5

What makes God great?

From my personal encounter with God many years ago I can confidently and boldly verify He is the greatest force in the universe. I trembled in fear over His presence and my first thought when He left was God can destroy an enemy nation in a split second.

The wisdom of Jesus is infinite. He hears all your thoughts and words. He is omniscient and knows every detail of your life from the past to the future.

The greatness of Jesus cannot be explained or understood by the human mind.

Jesus has power and dominion over the heavens and earth. Your destiny is in His hands. Nothing is impossible for Him.

Jesus confirmed His greatness in many ways. He healed thousands of people, raised Lazarus from death back to life, He walked on water, He used His authority to control the weather conditions, He turned water into fine wine, He fed five thousand people with five loaves of bread and two fish. And He had leftovers.

The greatest miracle of Jesus was His obedience to His Father.

He gave up His life so every human could have the gift of salvation and live with Him forever.

Jesus died to forgive all sin and make His people clean with the blood of Christ. Making a decision for Jesus is the beginning of a new life and becoming transformed into His character.

The mere mortal is weak and flawed with character defects. He can never match up to the standards of Jesus. He is ego driven and pursues the immoral desires of His flesh.

Jesus is unconditional love and has no ego. He promises to give a believer more than he asks or thinks. The condition is to live for Jesus above all else and seek His will for your life.

The mere mortal has no inner discipline to live an upright life. He will always fail. Jesus gives His people the Holy Spirit who is the life of Jesus sealed in all believers.

The Holy Spirit offers the powerful attributes of Jesus. He fills believers with love, strength, joy and protection. He guides believers with the omniscient wisdom of Jesus and convicts of impure motives and compulsive behaviors.

There is only one way to experience the greatness of God. Ask Jesus to show you who He is. Then you will never doubt His greatness!

If you have questions or need prayer please reach out to me and I will respond promptly. Have an awesome day!

Jesus will help you get rid of fear!

The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear?” Psalm 27:1

The human nature is to fear over the future or troubles in life. We fear because we have no legitimate power to protect us from our troubles.

I thought in my early years Jesus was in heaven and untouchable. I thought He would be valuable when I died but I needed someone to help me now in my living needs here on earth. I was greatly surprised to meet the Living Christ and to receive His help and support every day of my life.

Jesus is the perfect solution for overcoming fear. He has power and dominion over the heavens and earth. Nothing is impossible for Jesus.

Jesus promises to be a light and the source of salvation for a believer.

The light of Jesus guides a believer’s pathway and protects him from evil actions. This light is the Holy Spirit who is sealed in all believers. This light is omniscient and sees every detail of your life.

This light is a powerful source of wisdom, peace and strength. The believer has no reason to worry because he is enfolded by the Spirit of God.

Jesus is the author of the gift of salvation. This is the most important decision you will ever make in your life. Jesus offers the gift of eternal life and desires to be a powerful presence in your life. Salvation is about living in a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus.

Jesus speaks to a believer, shares His powerful attributes and forgives all sin with His blood. The believer can face Jesus blameless and without shame.

Jesus offers powerful promises to His people. They come by unshakable faith and obedience to His commands.

Jesus is a decision to live for Him and seek His perfect will for your life.

This will give a mere mortal a “born again” experience and he will be transformed into a new creature in Christ.

Worry disappears as Jesus becomes your reality for life.

Meet the Living Christ and you will be astonished by His power and presence in your life! He can be trusted implicitly!

Does Jesus really hear all your words?

“Incline Your ear to me, and save me.” Psalm 71:2

In the Bible there is a sense of pleading with God to open His ears and hear our words. And, asking God not to turn His face away or abandon a believer.

In my early years, I thought Jesus would be valuable when I died but for now He was in heaven and untouchable. I needed help for my needs today and felt Jesus was not relevant. I was shocked to find out I could have a personal relationship with Jesus and He would provide help and support for my every need.

The answer to the question above is God hears your every thought and word. But God has a specific plan for your life which might make you think He has closed His ears to your words. Your prayers and requests to Jesus might be counter to His plans that are in the works.

Jesus knows every detail of your life from the beginning to the end.

He is an omniscient God and sees everything. Nothing is hidden from Him.

Jesus will never leave you or forget you. He is a God of unconditional love.

The plan of the Most High is to transform a believer into the character and personality of Jesus. This can be painful and create anxiety. At times it feels like living in a void from Jesus.

This feeling of questioning Jesus over hearing your words can be overcome by prayer, reading the Bible and listening for His voice.

Most importantly, every believer is sealed with the Holy Spirit. He is the life of Jesus and desires to have a consistent dialogue with a believer and be very present in his life. Submit to the authority of the Holy Spirit and there will never be any doubt about the reality or efficacy of Jesus in your life.

Jesus does not think or act like a human being. His ways can seem mysterious and lacking logic. He has a perfect plan for your life. Walk by faith and wait upon Him. Jesus is not in a hurry and knows exactly what He is doing.

I have personally walked with Jesus for many years and have suffered all kinds of trouble. Jesus cannot be explained but He can be trusted implicitly!

If you have questions or need prayer please reach out to me and I will respond promptly.

Defining success by the standards of Jesus!

God promises to give a believer an abundant life and provide more than he asks or thinks. But there is a catch to this promise.

“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success”. Joshua 1:8

We think of success as prosperity and having a fulfilling and well respected life.

Jesus thinks of success as doing the perfect will of God by meditating on Him and His truths.

The priority is to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness then the other things of life will be added to you.

This priority will never change. Jesus comes first through prayer, reading the Bible and listening for His voice. But the decision for Jesus is much deeper.

We have to agree to die to self and live for Jesus. The Cross is the pathway for a believer. We become a new creature in Christ Jesus and give up our old ways and become transformed into the character of Jesus.

The thinking patterns of a believer are not about self. It is a passionate desire to seek the perfect will of God for his life.

This can only happen by living under the authority of the Holy Spirit who is the life of Jesus and is sealed in all believers. He will keep you grounded in Jesus and guide your footsteps.

Jesus engineers troubles and adversity for a believer to keep you on track with His plan for your life. He strengthens your faith, gives you patience and transforms you into His personality.

We become successful by the blood of Jesus that covers our sins and convicts us of thoughts or actions that grieve the Holy Spirit.

The advantage of Jesus is He is very accessible and desires to have a personal and intimate relationship with a believer. He speaks to His people and desires to be present and powerful in all the moments of life.

If you have questions or need prayer please reach out to me and I will respond promptly. The success of Jesus comes by your devotion and obedience to Him!

Discovering the cosmic consciousness of Jesus!

“The Lord possessed me at the beginning of His way, before His works of old. I have been established from everlasting, from the beginning, before there was ever an earth.” Proverbs 8:22-23

This Proverb is telling believers God knew you before you were born and you were present with Him from the very beginning.

The Holy Spirit spoke to me today about cosmic consciousness. He is defining this in the context of Christ consciousness or living in oneness with the Lord.

This is not about a new age medium or false impersonator that claims He speaks for God. In dealing with the spiritual cosmos take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ and flee from all evil spirits.

This is the ability to enter the presence of the Living Christ, witness His greatness and glory and never be threatened by the world.

The cosmic believer is grounded in Jesus and nothing can inhibit his life.

He experiences life as spiritual reality rather than merely from a short term worldly perspective.

He is as secure as Jesus. He sees life through the eyes of Jesus.

The first step to developing cosmic consciousness comes by making a decision to live for Jesus above all else. This means you give up your independence and personal rights to Jesus.

Conscienceness with Jesus is created through walking by faith and becoming obedient to His commands without hesitation or wavering.

Living in oneness with the Most High is built on prayer, reading the Bible and listening for the voice of Jesus.

The defining characteristic is seeking the perfect will of Jesus for your life

Jesus respects and blesses those who are devoted to “Not my will but Yours be done.”

The Holy Spirit who is the life of Christ and sealed in all believers reveals Jesus as a Holy and Pure God who offers believers a universal consciousness that is beyond human understanding.

Cosmic consciousness rejects religion and regulations. It is living in a personal and embracing relationship with Jesus.

The believer identifies with the character of Jesus. He becomes enfolded in the compassion and mercy of God for the marginalized and downtrodden in our society.

If you have questions or need prayers please reach out to me. Jesus opens your eyes to a new and majesty world!

Contesting Jesus over His actions is a “no win” ending!

“Where your fathers tested Me, tried Me, and saw My works forty years.”

Hebrews 3:9

I have written on the subject of faith many times in the past but Jesus told me today it is more important than ever before. We are in the End Times and facing death or life forever with Jesus.

We cannot contest with Jesus over His actions regardless of the pain, suffering or lack of logic. He is perfect!

We have to walk by faith with Jesus and not complain. He has power and dominion over the heavens and earth and your destiny is in His hands. You can never win in a dispute with Jesus. This will just injure your spiritual life.

The reason we contest with Jesus or fall into unbelief is because we do not think or act like Jesus. We are ego driven people and God has no ego.

Jesus creates unusual situations and troubles in our lives to increase our faith, give us patience and transform us into His character. Every believer has to deal with this nature of Jesus. There are seasons of abundance and deprivation.

The most important goal is to seek the will of God void of religion and regulations.

The believer finds the perfect will of God through prayer, reading the Bible and listening for the voice of Jesus.

The Most High desires to have a personal and all consuming relationship with a believer. This can only happen by inviting the Holy Spirit to have authority over your life. We must submit to His omniscient wisdom, act in compliance to His instructions and be open to the conviction of the Spirit.

Jesus measures the faith and obedience of every believer. He is looking for winners.

Walk by faith and not by what you see with your eyes or you will end up like the adult Israelites who all died in the desert.

We have to take Jesus very seriously. He is our only hope for strength, joy and protection.

If you have questions or need prayer please reach out to Me. Thanks!

Seeking Jesus, abiding in Him and seeing His beauty!

“One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord,” Psalm 27:4

I woke up feeling anger and frustration with God. He directed me to this Psalm and I found peace and comfort through His words. Jesus thinks and acts in ways that are difficult to understand. I have to accept Jesus for who He is and live in His promises.

This beautiful Psalm instructs believers with the fundamentals of Jesus.

We seek Jesus through prayer, reading the Bible, and listening for His voice.

We surrender all to Jesus and diligently seek His perfect will for our lives.

We dwell in the house of the Lord through the Holy Spirit. He is the life of Jesus and is sealed in all believers. We submit to His authority, conviction, and wise counsel.

We find the beauty and simplicity of life through the presence of Jesus.

The world is filled with darkness and evil. It is not your friend. Build your life on the values of Jesus and sever your ties to the world.

Jesus wants all of you. He will not share His life with other gods or idols. Come to the Lord with a clean slate through the blood of Jesus.

Jesus is your only hope for the future. He desires to have a personal and symbiotic relationship with a believer void of religion and regulations.

You will impress Jesus with unshakable faith and responding with obedience to His instructions.

If you have questions or need prayer I am here for you. Jesus loves you!
